  1. Love that Pony Decoration And it's great to see a good balance of simple building for a young age group but still keeping the LEGO style to it. Jack Stone really didn't have that...
  2. I'm going to do my damn hardest to get these sets! That bike is gorgeous! But I want those SWAT vests and especially those figs! Seems like LEGO is going all out on some of those minifigures! (Like, the main girl doesn't look cheap at all...)
  3. Okay, this made me laugh
  4. As far I can guess, Agents is too old of an idea to bring back at the moment. Especially with Ninjago coming back and, as said, the LEGO movie coming out next year. I just don't see LEGO digging that theme back up... But it would be awesome if they did
  5. It would be great to have another theme besides the big ones... personally wouldn't mind a space pirate theme
  6. Hello there Tereglith! I might be able to help... well, maybe just a little bit! I'm currently living in Denmark, proud land of the brick!, and I have to say there's a lot of wonderful places to see besides the Company! If you really want a LEGO experience then it'll probably be best to go to LEGOLAND. As for LEGO activities outside the Company, I'm afraid there's not too much. Billund is a small, but nice, place and it's close to the park so I would honestly venture out and see it. I wouldn't call it an "all-day experience" since of how small it is but you'll find interesting things here and there that relate to the history of the Company. Also close by is a indoor water park called Lalandia. It's a pretty nice place and I went there swimming before. I enjoyed the slides they have too! You'll get a ton of pictures of it if you type it in google. Vejle, a city nearby Billund, about a 45 minute bus drive, is also a nice place to venture through. You have options but I'm afraid I can't really say all of them are going to be LEGO related. Sorry about that. The biggest one I could think of would be LEGO World that's held in Copenhagen but it's already over. That's the best I got for now, I hope that's a little something that you can use. Best of luck on your trip
  7. Yeah that's great! Thank you for the help
  8. Can any of you kind people help me with a question? Can any of you who got the Target Blu Ray/DVD tell me what's exactly The Hobbit: Behind the Scenes addition on the DVD is? Like, what's all the information that they cover and details. I just want to make sure what it is before buying it .

  11. Amazing work! Absolutely amazing! Your eye for shape and creativity is astounding!

  12. These are fantastic and adorable! Love how you were able to capture so many curves on such a small scale!
  13. Thanks! I hope to share more, as of now I really can't only because of time. I'm packing for a move so I'm not too sure if I'll be posting any more stuff in the upcoming days. But no doubt there will be more of my work out there at some point. Thanks for the replies guys
  14. [Moderators, I couldn't figure out if I should make this topic here or for the Minifig Customisation Workshop or for Brick Flicks and Comics or somewhere else completely. Could you please point me in the right direction?] I love building, I love making MoCs, but I also love using art for a LEGO experience. This can be simply be sketches of LEGO characters, this can be early development and planning for something bigger, and this can also be for advertisements and designs. Throughout my years I used LEGO more than simply building with; I used it as a driving force for a lot of my art. And simply, I wanted to share some of my work that is LEGO driven but not constructed, a MoC built through pencil and paper I suppose [Development work] [some early high school art, designed as a screen print T-shirt but was shot down by the school before it could be printed. Ack! That typography is awful too!] [Advertisements for a college course] [Pencil Work for a Project]

  16. This is wonderful! I can't wait to see what people come up with !
  17. Thank you for all the nice replies! As for the villain's face, I will probably not be changing too much about it. I feel the smile is what really makes him look like slime so I will probably keep it. As for keeping with LEGO's guideline for faces (whatever they may be), I feel pushing them (if I am) a little might achieve the right feel for the character. The last face is just to be completely goofy ! My real concern is "is the villain look over the top enough?" That's my real concern. I want to continue this but it will be a slow project. I'm not too sure how well I'll keep this topic up-to-date . As for cars... that's a different story...
  18. Just playing around with the idea. And please don't judge me on my sketches, they're really bad! Ha Ha . The sketches were just for me to get a quick idea of the character and nothing else. Hell, they're not even finished ! But that's what sketches are for . Feedback is always welcomed !
  19. Ha Ha, thanks but I visit here every day. It's just that I don't post very often Thanks! And yes, Joe (the second one) gets that a lot in real life. We believe he's the MythBusters' secret love child
  20. It's been a REAL long time since I made a topic and since I'm currently working on a fan project that is LEGO related I thought I might share it here as well. I have recently been using the new LDD to POV-Ray to construct small replicas of my friends and family. All the decal work is mine of course but I want to say what a wonderful job the LDD to POV-Ray has been! Okay, here they are ! Mike Joe Justin Geneva Laura
  21. Thanks a million hrontos!
  22. Yep, that's the error I keep getting. Thanks hrontos for the help
  23. I just got the latest update for LDD and it seems my POV-Ray does not like taking the new changes. Maybe it's just me but if anyone has suggestions I would love to hear them
  24. To be honest, I'm not against the whole lipstick and eyelash details on the faces nor am I too against the female torso designs. The main reason is that when you are working with something this small that shares a silhouette to it's male counter part you have to give attributes to it that will read "female" instantly. That's why we have lipstick mouths and eyelashes. They may be stereotypical but they read female to the person looking at them. I don't think LEGO is making these details as a way to say all women should look like this but as a quick and easy readable way to differentiate the male and female minifigure. After all, the designers are working on limitations here: stylized faces (no ears, noses) and very small details. As for the "hourglass" detail on the torso, I can see the dislike but at the same time I like the obvious female design against the male one. And to be honest, I don't see the torsos having a Barbie thin waist, I just see it as "female body". Is it necessary for every female design to have them? No. But I'm not against to what we have now either. What I just see it as is that it's just a easy way to read "female" for such a small toy. Now what I do not like is that there isn't a big library of female faces that look dramatically different from one another like the male faces we have. To me, most of them look the same. I want to see bigger eyelashes or sometimes none, I want lips that don't always look like lipstick, I want high cheek bone details, and etc. The males have so much detail that I just want to see the same for the female ones as well.
