That AT-ST is one of the best I have seen, the legs and head are amazing, and the battle scene is also pretty good.

That's exactly what I wanted to do to this set, nice job, these creator sets are asking to be weaponized, look what I did to 31023 yellow racers set: 5 by Nom Carver, en Flickr
-
Sorry guys, I thought it was related enough to the sets, afterall it was all based on the sets themselves .
-
Those were just my thoughts and speculations based on what can be seen on the sets, I haven't seen any spoilers either but I am pretty sure that at least two of those will be true (they seem quite obvious to me). Regarding to the sets, I am not too impressed, they all seem either oversized, overpriced or too similar to what we already have, the minifigs look interesting but if I could skip the CW hype I can do so with this, that doesn't mean that I wont enjoy this new saga or appreciate the design on the new models but they are not such a big deal to me.

There is one thing that bothers me quite a bit, the size of your pics! why are they are so small? I would love to see this guy in all its glory.

I would dare to say that this TIE looks actually better than the UCS version, but it is a little wide but that shouldn't be too much of an issue, great job! but I have to admit that I am not very fond to the "bat-TIE" (I just don't like theme crossovers).
-
In my humble opinion, this is how a TIE should look like, notice that the underbelly is light grey while the top is dark grey, it may not be accurate but it looks nice to me. P1010072 by Nom Carver, en Flickr P1010069 by Nom Carver, en Flickr P1010031 by Nom Carver, en Flickr

I do but I don't know where to upload an LDD file, but here is an LDD file that you could play around with: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=513583

I like your x wing a lot more than the official one, this is actually the best one I have seen, the wings and the color scheme make more sense to me, dont mind too much about movie accuracy, make it appealing to your personal taste.
-
I modded all my TIEs with the same style, I think this is what you are looking for but I haven't updated the picture of the interceptor, yet the color scheme should be alike (mostly dark grey): Dibujo by Nom Carver, en Flickr P1010113 by Nom Carver, en Flickr P1010127 by Nom Carver, en Flickr P1010107 by Nom Carver, en Flickr Light bley is too bright for my taste.

God bless you man!!! Please do, and thanks in advance. You are the best guys!

I have a couple requests for you, the lucky ones that managed to get the new x wing (75102) and FO TIE fighter (75101) and also happen to have the latest x wing (9493) and TIE fighter (9492), could you post some side by side comparisons of these ships?
-
In my opinion, "certain iconic star wars ship" lacks any true improvements over its predecessor, structurally is the same but a with a few color changes and a lot of debris, rubble and random pipes to make the interior look messy and beef up the piece count, another easy pass for me, it may seem that I am in a dark age not buying most of the new stuff but I actually have just about every ship I ever wanted from the OT, my money will remain safely in my wallet and away of disney's pockets.
-
It's your fault, you didn't put the B wing on its base, it seems to me that it was barely standing by the most feeble balance.
-
I would be honored, go ahead and see how it looks, and if you have some of those new ball joint bricks from mixels you may have a whole lot more mobility on the arms as you can see on the one on the right.. zzzz by Nom Carver, en Flickr

Sci-Fi (Cyberpunk) First Responders Police/Firefighters
Nom Carver replied to Isundir's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
I will be looking forward to see those. -
Thats a prototype or optional arm design, I still cant make my mind on which one to use, the problem with that one is that there is not enough friction on the shoulder articulation.

Those drones look fantastic, they seem to be fully articulated, I would like to see a military type one, my only issue is with the head but I haven't seen a head design in this scale that can convince me but that is just my opinion. -
Thanks guys, this little thing may not be too elaborate or fancy as others but is very sturdy, I have seen other pretty good mechs around and wanted to build one for a while but a limited amount of bricks is always an issue.

[MOC] Confederation Marine Thermobaric Heavies
Nom Carver replied to Steebles1908's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Those guys look so awesome!!! I also took a look on your flickr and many of your creations remind me of warhammer 40k or starcraft, I hope we get to see more. -
I think I should have updated my earlier topic but I am still waiting for head suggestions, meanwhile this guys turned out quite well with the new head, custom colors and guns, I hope you like them and would be more than happy to see some of this guys popping around in someone else's MOC's. "The Sentinel combat drone has been developed by The Targus Engineering Enterprise under the request of the Terran government to fill a wide variety of roles; it has been designed to be large enough to carry thick armor plating and highly efficient power cells while still being smaller than regular combat drones or mech suits so it doesn't become an easy target for heavy turrets or artillery, it's also equipped with boosters for fast deployment on space or ship combat/defence and can be equipped with multiple other weapons and gear for more specific roles, its size makes it very agile and fast in comparison to other similar hardware and is considerably accessible. Without a doubt this will be the next step in mechanized warfare against alien invaders or rebellious colonies in outer space..." I am asking for your help to design a smallish head for this little mech, it turned out pretty well but I am not satisfied with the head, I need it to be around 2x2x2 studs and 1.5 or so, a minifig head gear hat or helmet fits just fine for the scale but it doesn't fit with the stile I am looking for, I would like it to be either a single "eye" or something that resembles the face of the classical optimus prime, any ideas? P1010022 by Nom Carver, en Flickr P1010036 by Nom Carver, en Flickr P1010043 by Nom Carver, en Flickr P1010061 by Nom Carver, en Flickr The body is very posable and mixing some interesting colors will make it look great, I think that those new smallish ball joint bricks would make marvels for it alongside some clip hinges, meanwhile this is just the prototype, I hope you like it and would use some advice regarding to the head, so please comment.

Exactly! thanks for the backup. Yes, its not perfect but it will improve over time once I get some useful pieces. I will be looking forward to see it.

Thanks stillinamerica, I know this is no UCS but is just what I need in my collection. You can tell that to the designers back in 2001, its not perfect but I like it as it is, its made to fit with the rest of my models that are mostly on the smallish side (from the times before lego made the sets with such detail or size), besides, I barely made it with spare parts and the colors are not that off, and the missing guns aren't there on purpose because, I prefer looks and sturdiness over accuracy. Maybe you could put a link to the one you got on your picture, I would certainly like to see it.
