  1. "Karie, keep on that Swordsman. I'll handle this one."
  2. Jinnipher scrunched her eyebrows. "Are we forgetting about the fog that causes people to hallucinate their worst fears, or the mass murder you committed to anyone who wouldn't follow you? Sounds like fear tactics to me, worm."
  3. "With that kind of attitude, what else is anyone supposed to do but follow you? Faust may be a coward, but with your fear tactics you're just as spineless as him!" Jinnipher repeats.
  4. As Hybros works on crowd control in Dastan, a pink letter poofs into existence in front of him. Not paying much mind to it, he signs it and dismisses it. --- Jinnipher, also fighting citizens in unrest, receives a letter in Moone. "Donations, huh? Well I won't say no." She signs up for the lottery as well.
  5. Jinnipher nodded approvingly at Karie. At least someone else in the group had their head on straight. She rolled her eyes. "Again with the wisdom talks, kiddo. I'll leave to you to tell me the nuances of my profession. Maybe after this is done you should go and stick your nose back in those books, rather than distract people from doing real work." She paused and looked over the Munchkin angrily. "Do not ever group me with you. You're worried about the reward from what might be a dead King while some of us are actually trying to save lives." Jinnipher looked even angrier after Skrall decided to rejoin the conflict. "No one said anything about Faust on the throne after this, not that you should get to decide anything about his fate!" Jinnipher looked over at Gabriel before charging into battle. She spoke to him loud enough for Vorpalis to hear. "Maybe he's jealous that all he has on his side are incompetence and confusion from the people of Mermont. I can say differently about at least someone on my side." With that, Jinnipher rushed into battle, swinging her Brine Blade at Swordsman C from the front row.
  6. After taking his Health Core, Hybros switches to Civilians A with the Heavy Flail and SOAH from the front row. Felix repeats. Still same BO.
  7. OOC: Sorry guys still limited to mobile for a few more hours. Jinniphers action is fine as stated by Lind. See below for updated action.
  8. Bones can come in handy in a pinch and they should be dropped more often.
  9. OOC: sorry, updating from mobile. I'll reply to stuff later. Jinnipher attacks Swordsman A from the back row.
  10. Hybros uses a Health Core on himself and attacks Armored A from the front row with Zoot's Reaper and SOAH. Same BO.
  11. "I've made it clear that I will not allow this beast to kill anyone else. Especially not my parents. You will pay for your deeds in blood tonight, Vorpalis!" Jinnipher stands beside Gabriel. "None of those people deserved to die just because they lived in a kingdom and supported their king. Heroes defend the weak, and you are doing the opposite. You are a coward, Skrall, and do not deserve to be called a hero."
  12. OOC: U'Daras should have 24 SP (10 +2 (class bonus) x2 (reinforced)). You also forgot to subtract a Mead and Nostrum from Hybros' inventory. And to help you out, the net total gold from the games should be: Hybros +10, Felix +30, Arthur -10, Guffington 0. Hybros nods respectfully towards U'Daras. "Let us take this opportunity to deal some damage to our enemies. U'Daras, if I may ask, if you are the leader of the Dragon Knights, where is your own dragon?" He attacks Armored Protesters A with the Heavy Flail (primary) and Sword of Ancestral Hatred (secondary) from the front row. If they're fragile, he attacks again with Zoot's Reaper and SOAH, otherwise repeats. Lady Felix repeats. Same BO.
  13. Jinnipher looked at Skrall incredulously. "We've been over this before, ogre. Revenge?! One deceitful king doesn't warrant the destruction of an entire country! Faust can be dealt with after this. But this dragon is as good as dead."
  14. Jinnipher picked herself up off the ground and drew her blade. She looked from side to side, blood pumping and ready for a fight. "Save the King! The fog's got him so bent out of shape he probably has no idea what he's saying..."
  15. Jinnipher nodded to Skrall and joined him on the stage. She crossed her arms and looked out over the crowd, painfully aware that there was a giant dragon breathing down her neck.
  16. Hybros keeps his blades sheathed, but instead draws Iustitia (primary) and the Heavy Flail (secondary) from the back row and attacks Civilian Mob B with both weapons. If successful, he then attacks Armored Protesters A and B with the Heavy Flail and Zoot's Reaper, otherwise repeats. Lady Felix attacks Civilian Mob B from the front row, twice. Battle Order: >Hybros (Civ B, Iustitia/Heavy Flail) >Hybros (Protestors A/B, Heavy Flail/Zoot's Reaper) Arthur (Civ B, Dauntlet Index) >Hoke (Protestors B, Zoot's Order) >Purpearl (Civ A, Zelphie's Staff - darkness) >U'Daras (Protestors A, Halberd) Lady Felix (Civ B, Mace) Lady Felix (Civ B, Mace) >Miirym (Civ B) >Torc (Protestors B) >U'Voros (nothing) >Mallelio (heal U'Daras/lowest health)
  17. As Hybros walked beside U'Daras and the princess, he fanned his wings out and placed his hands on the two sheathed swords on either of his hips. He was hoping to have an intimidating impression on the crowd, lest they thought of doing something irrational. "Phil..." he murmured to himself. The name rang a bell, but the memory didn't come. He shrugged and focused on the crowd.
  18. "My experience goes far beyond what those records say, and even those are out of date. I was in Heroica long before anyone else here. Faust picked me for a reason, and there must have been a reason why you let him. Not that I care, of course." Jinnipher crossed her arms and stuck her nose in the air. "Look, you'd better get your act together here, Sandman. Ever since that mask came off you've been acting strange. Which is to say that you've been acting like a normal human being. It's not good for the mission. Put the drink down and get some rest, we can't afford to have you intoxicated when the time comes to strike." "The fog hasn't bothered me since Karie and I went in it. We have the Puffy machine, so I think it's all in your head."
  19. Jinnipher gave Gabriel a weird look. "Who were you concerned about? You know Ican take care of myself. And why are you so weird to begin with?"
  20. Jinnipher rolled her eyes. "Fine! Then we'll just sit here and wait for the dragon to come back in full force." She plopped down on a cot. "Get a hold of yourself, Gabriel. Now's not the time to freaking out and turning into a normal person."
  21. "So we're just going to stand around and wait for Vorpalis to come back? Isn't there something we can do to stop the guards from executing more people, especially while they don't have the dragon backing them?" Jinnipher crossed her arms and returned to her usual demeanor. "Skrall and I could return to the headquarters and take out Aeolus. If the guards aren't receiving orders they'll probably be confused for at least a little while. We can then take out as many as we can while sparing the remaining loyalists and maybe form a resistance force to fight against the guards. We can take control of Mermont away from Vorpalis, scatter his followers, and meet him in out in the open." She looked to the party. "It's better than waiting around for more death."
  22. "So, until Vorpalis gets back, what can we do to control things here in Mermont? I wouldn't mind taking out an eye or two from Aeolus and his cronies."
  23. Hybros nods at Purpearl, and replies to U'Daras, although he does so loudly enough for the protesters to hear. "I do not understand why there is so much discontent among different races and groups. Eubric is much the same, but I thought since Heroica's help here in Dastan things were going to get better, not worse. Can all races not live together? I know that this is easier said than done, but shunning foreigners seems... unnecessary. And do the dragons really believe there is no hope?"
  24. Jinnipher rolled her eyes again, but held back a grin. "That's all you can think about now? We're on a mission, mother, nothing more." Typical. Clearly Jinnipher hadn't missed much in her absence. Jinnipher nudged Lind pointedly before turning to her parents. "You should be safe here, for now. Is there anything else you can tell us about the dragon, any way to defeat him?" She projected her question to anyone listening.
  25. Jinnipher rolled her eyes. "Mother..." She turned to Gabriel. "You're right. Maybe the loyalists there have some useful information. It won't be long before the guards are onto us if we don't report back to Aoulus soon, though."
