Jinnipher holds up her shield and glares back at Terry. "You idiot! Your ice spells aren't going to do anything in this heat. If you had just done what I told you, you might have actually done some damage." She shook her head an refocused on the battle. "Amateur." She repeats.

Jinnipher narrowed her eyes, annoyed that Sakurai had not answered her concerns. "Who's the crazy old nut?" But there was no time to berate him more, and she drew her Brine Blade and prepared for battle. She stuck close to Terry before charging. "Great, looks like it's just you and me kid. And the old coot. You two should focus on those flying ones while I handle the big one." With that, she charged at the Tyrannosaur from the front row.

Yeah, I mean Vorpalis was evil but there was never any doubt that he was more than just a dumb beast. Jinnipher called him that as an insult, plus she is still young for an elf and naive so she's bound to contradict herself or make sweeping generalizations. Also, as a Lawful Good (as much as I've been against boxing myself in with those kind of labels), she'll at least try to see the morality of each situation. In 138 Vorpalis was evil, and now it seems like her employer wants to kill an equally intelligent creature for the sake of robbing it. At least, that's what I'm (she's) assuming.

Jinnipher rolled her eyes. "I knew this was too easy." Jinnipher picked up on the man's attempt to flirt and glared back in disgust. "Listen old man, we're going to get the bones either way. If you try anything funny, expect a sword in the back." She looked at the other heroes. "Not that we have much choice, but we're better off going with this creep into the fields. We get the bones, grab the Adamandite Shard, and get back to Kiri to collect the payment."

Hybros embraces Tarn, and gives one last forlorn look at the emperor before giving a quick tip of his hat. "It does not take a profit to know that we will see each other again. Goodbye, Tarn." He smiles, and departs for the ship. OOC: Then take it back. Matthias gave the mask bask to Hybros with the latter's intentions known. You don't really need it, do you? Let it go full circle when we see Tarn again!

"Yes, we, are heroes and must not be afraid to dirty our hands. We are not the everyday U'Kin citizen. That is a narrow point of view. Do you only view someone as valuable and worthy of life if they are physically strong like you, Hoke? People are useful for things other than fighting, and if they cannot defend themselves someone else has to. We cannot give up on the U'Kin and leave them to the likes of Sven just because he is stronger. It would not be right if he prevailed." Hybros goes to Phil's quarters and looks over the sickly man as he sleeps. He addresses U'Daras. "I suppose death is inevitable to any being... But it is sad to see him in this state when Dastan is not yet on its feet again. He has done much for this empire, I am sure. You fought well, but perhaps you can learn something from Phil and his wisdom. I do not know if you will make a good empress or not, but I wish you luck. The U'Kin must be represented." He gave a quick nod and turned to Tarn. "Perhaps Heroica can be of service again in Dastan, but yes we must return to our quest. It was good to see you, and I am sure you will do well by this empire. Stop in Eubric sometime. Oh yes, I think this belongs to you..." Hybros holds out the Noble Mask. "You gave it to Arthur, but I think it is better if you hold onto it. Good luck, Noble Tarn, heheheh..."

"You could try throwing it." Jinnipher rolls her eyes at the new hero. She also hefts the Natural Shield and carries the Full Moon Shield on her back. OOC: Flipz, I forgot that I bought a Paper Doll (protects from Hexed-effect; accessory) from Karie back in the Hall. I should have that in my inventory as well as 40 less gold.

"Perhaps they cannot, or do not have the desire to lower themselves to the level of Sven and his followers. Heroes fight for the weak." Hybros nods. Finally, they would be on their way with the mission they were hired for. Yet, Hybros felt empowered to have been able to help Dastan. Or so he thought. His own people were not unlike the U'Kin, oppressed by humans who claimed to own the land they were once foreigners to. He gave Arthur a reassuring nudge. "You did well, Arthur. Your dragon... this is Dastan, her ancestral home. I am sure we will find her, or rather, she will find us, heheh. I am not familiar with Miirym as you are, but I have encountered enough dragons in my travels to know that they have an agenda of their own. She will come around." "Natasha, it has been an honor fighting alongside you. I wish you and the future of Dastan well." He nodded at Ella, too. "The Golden Crusade seems like a worthy cause to me. Again, I will be available should you need me, heheh..." He gave a slight bow. "Very well, should we go see Phil and the others before we leave?" Hybros cast a worried glance at the palace.

Jinnipher sheathed her sword and crossed her arms. "Well, not bad Terry. None of those items are particularly useful to me, but I guess I could hold onto the shield for now."

"We are heroes, Hoke, or so we are meant to be. I agree that we do not have all the information necessary to meddle in another country's affairs, but then does the Golden Crusade, or anyone for that matter? The meddling happens anyways, and while we are here in this situation we must do what is right. I trust the judgement of Guffington, Tarn, Phil and even Natasha. Phil has asked for a champion, and if Arthur would not be it then I would have proudly defended the emperor and what he stands for. This man... Sven. He calls for the elimination of a race of people who have just as much right to this land as him. I am very familiar with this kind of person." He gave the Dragoon a deep stare. "The U'Kin deserve no such thing." "I did not say it was not our business. I said that it was our business whether we like or not." Hybros watches as Arthur quickly fells Sven's champion, and Phil strikes the man himself down. He nods approvingly. "Eheh, Phil I am glad to see you are yet strong enough to strike down those who oppose you. Now... perhaps we can discuss why we are here..." Hybros crosses his arms and flutters his wings nervously. "I do not like this situation any more than you do, Hoke, but that is no way to speak to our employer. Guffington has seen more of this world than either of us; I am sure if he wanted he could have chose to fight like us. He has no more choice in this than we do." "Guffington, perhaps you can tell me about the artifacts that we seek. I do not think I am as well-informed about them as I should be."

Yeah, and maybe our chances of scoring some hits would've been higher if we weren't so busy using Remedies every single round...

Hybros looked at Purpearl quizzically but stayed his hand. It would become clear soon enough, he figured. Hybros stayed silent, but acknowledged Hoke's discomfort with a short gaze. He himself was unsure of their presence in such a delicate situation, with the future of an entire empire in question. All he could do was watch the proceedings from the sideline.

Hybros grips his Kunai amid the chaos and confusion, but is unable to hinder the stampede of citizens. He looks around, and the emperor limps from the palace. "Phil...? You are an emperor of Dastan? Heheheh, why did you not tell me back in that arena? Well, ehehm, I suppose it is not the time for stories..." He focused first on Phil with a look of respect, then on Sven with caution, then Arthur. Hybros nods. "You know this empire better than any of us, except Tarn. But unless I am mistaken, it has been a long time since he last fought in battle." He eyed the noble Raider, then looked up at Arthur. "Be careful." "Natasha, could you perhaps spare some healing for Arthur and the others who are injured?" Hybros interrupts, murmuring. "None of this was part of our mission, and we are no closer to finding this artifact but instead are protecting royalty in a distant land." He looked around for Guffington. "Yet here we are. I do not think we have a choice but to do what is right and answer Phil's call." He poked Purpearl. "What do you think? You have not said much this journey. Where was it that you wandered off to last night at the feast?"

She nods her thanks, but adds, "Well I'm not ungrateful, but shouldn't you be thwacking those scorpions too? With no blood running through your veins to poison, I mean." She winked before charging back into battle.

Yea, what did Sandy look like? How do you dream about someone you've never met in person? Was everyone a minifigure? I still picture him as a woman, specifically his character from Eurodina... ...Except on further review that was Alice's character... maybe another mafia game? I'm sold, except one thing. What are the stats? My Frying Pan (WP:1, +1 max. health) is already pretty good.
