Chi Monk is underrated. They're harder to take down than they seem and are best suited to Mage and Cleric base classes, and have some cool skills to boot. Mystic Knight->Dragoon is what Hoke did to get a high defense. Necromancer would also be good if you could find a good suitable weapon to upgrade with MK for it. If the Critical Hit roll isn't changed a high WP is essential for Necro. I think Chi Monk would be the best build-wise for Warlen because you'll be taking and giving a lot of damage, which is perfect for that Vorpalis gear.

Don't forget about Althior and Docken. The former is probably the highest consistent damage output character (maybe besides Namyrra) and the latter is the best at damage reduction. Arthur and Hoke have good sets of high SP artifacts, but Docken's build is much more optimized. Blinding ranged weapon + halved Free Hit damage + immunities + Nimble + restoration. Although Arthur has a really nice set of weapons as well, especially for Dragoon and its limited weapon suitability. It's also nice/funny to see that Hybros isn't viewed as OP anymore, if he ever was. Though I still have a high damage output with Marauder, the Alchemist build with the Kjor Tongue was pretty good for healing and the Chi Monk build was hard to take down. I'll have something similar to that last one in the future.

Jinnipher watches Terry freeze and shatter the Rat King with a single spell. "Hmph! I could've done it myself." She winces from the poison, but attacks the Battle Ant Mob from the front row with the Brine Blade.

OOC: Justice is Iustitia. My intention was to blind the Civilian Mob. My mistake on using the old name. SOAH has an 8x multiplier on the Pongcanii (520 damage). Hybros repeats with SOAH and the Zoot's Reaper. If the Pongcanii are defeated, he will focus his attack on Civilian Mob C alone. Back row. Natasha assumes a protective stance and repeats. Hybros rubs his head as Arthur helps him up. "Ugh... Thank you Arthur." If Vipera fails to make him lucky, he drinks a Nostrum. With a vengeance, he attacks Civilian Mob C with Justice and Pongcanis Mob with SOAH in the back row. If he doesn't drink a Nostrum, he attacks again with Zoot's Reaper and SOAH. Natasha repeats. Arthur's battle order will be followed.

This is probably the toughest battle I've ever been in... And it's a newbie quest. Our only hope is if Terry rolls a SHIELD.

Jinnipher shrugs. "I still don't get why you need us to go pick up the bones if you're getting them for such a great price from this Sakurai guy. It sounds like he asked for heroes specifically. That doesn't make much sense since you're the one needing the bones."

Hybros panted after slashing through the enemy ranks. He looked around and frowned at the sight of Lady Felix and U'Daras on the ground. Luckily, they seemed that they would be alright. He returned his focus to the battle. "Natasha, how do you feel about taking on Sven? He will not fight without his supporters backing him, but he will continue to rally the people if he is not eliminated. What would the Crusade's goal be?" Hybros attacks Pongcanis Mob B with the SOAH and Civilian Mob C with Zoot's Reaper. If the Pongcanii are defeated, he uses his next turn to focus both weapons on Civilian Mob C. Jinnipher strides silently up behind the other heroes, fashionably late as usual. She addresses her employer and the woman in purple. "Bones, huh? Well it's not the same as saving a kingdom from a dragon, but gold is gold." She gazed unblinkingly at Kiri. "What kind of experiment?" She looked around at her questmates, nodding to Boris, Terry and Kheyli. To her employers and the ones she didn't know, "The name's Jinnipher, don't wear it out." She raised an eyebrow at the 'symbiont', but kept her opinion to herself otherwise. "It must have been a mistake. If Mac here had actually looked carefully at his employees, he would have seen that I am the most experienced here." She crossed her arms, but a sly grin formed on her face. Her tone became faux-disappointed. "Oh well, looks like we'll just have to rely on you to take point, Terry. I sure hope you're up to it." Watching the farmhand under pressure would be amusing.

OOC: Hybros should've dealt double damage due to being Encouraged, so I think the Soldier Mob should be down one more member. "Arthur, those Armored Protesters are all yours now, heheh." Hybros uses a Health Core before repeating his attack on the Western Front. Natasha heals Hoke. Felix repeats. If the lone Armored Protester is defeated, Felix switches to the Civilian Mob A, still in the front row. He then switches to Armored Protesters B (Heavy Flail) and Disgruntled Soldier Mob A (SOAH), in the back row. Felix attacks Armored Protester A from the front row, then Pongcanis Protesters B from the front row. Natasha assumes the Healing battle stance and attacks Civilian Mob B in the front row. OOC: How many times have you hosted me? Hybros is permanently Hastened. Yes the Dust is from the lotto. A Rogue's miss roll is Hide, so Felix should still be up. Did you roll for Natasha's chance(s) to Jinx, and U'Daras' chance to deflect? Hybros drinks a Mead and moves to the front row to attack Armored Protesters A and Pongcanis Protesters A with the Sword of Ancestral Hatred and Zoot's Reaper, respectively. Felix and Natasha repeat. OOC: Hybros should now have 2x Minimizing Dust in his inventory, and he also drank a Mulled Wine. Felix should be Hastened and Lucky Hybros grimaces. "Again?" This was not a situation he wanted to be in. Yet he felt compelled to follow Natasha into battle. If anyone knew what was best, it'd be her. Seeming to have no choice but to fight, Hybros popped a Nostrum and drew his weapons. "Natasha, if you have any healing abilities, now is the time." Hybros swung the Heavy Flail over his head at Armored Protesters A before ducking and stabbing Iustitia at Pongcanis Protesters A. He made sure to keep his distance in the back row. Lady Felix charges Pongcanis Protesters B, swinging her mace twice from the front row. Natasha assumes the Ranged battle style, moving quickly on her feet to swiftly strike Armored Protestors B from the front row. However, if there were any severely damaged (less than half health) party members, she would assume a Blessed battle style and heal them from the back row.
