  1. Funny/ scary entry, Skelliesgang. Poor Ben Stiller... You too, Strawberry. I like the tree.
  2. Why not? I would like Spiderman sets to make a return. I think your ideas are good, JimboJones, but the theme wasn't and isn't very popular, so a game would not be likely to be made.
  3. Ah, I see... whoops. It looked orange rather than (shadowed) flesh, and the blurry black thing is the propeller. Thanks!
  4. Nope, you do it yourself. You could fly in on a ship and help with the CIS ships attacking our Republic battleship, or just meet us on Felucia. Whatever you want. Not to attack you or anything, Jammie, but that post just kind of threw off the whole story. How were we supposed to communicate with the Republic, we've been jammed by the CIS. Besides, one of the points of the story is that we're supposed to be alone and unaided.
  5. I saw Episode Four on the rebroadcast on CN last night, and I have to say that I'm impressed. In this episode, there weren't many corny lines/ "jokes". The action was also good, and the train circuit was very cool. I loved how Grievous disobeyed Dooku and fled the battle. This show is getting good, no I need to see the movie...
  6. Apocalyptica (feat. Adam Gontier of Three Days Grace)- I Don't Care Oasis- Champagne Supernova Chilli Peppers- My Friends U2- Bloody Sunday Finger Eleven- Paralyzer Serj Tankian- Those Empty Walls Coldplay- Viva La Vida
  7. Happy Birthday, you two! Have a spectacular day!
  8. Very good MOC, EB. I really like all of the little details you've taken the time to include, such as the telephone pieces (handrails). It almost looks like a beefed-up Agents set, but much cooler. Keep up the great work!
  9. Good MOC, pe668. What I like: The idea was very unique and clever. I really like how the buried guy's legs stick out below. The skeletons also show cruelty from the pirates. What could be improved: The dock could be a little wider, it looks a bit flimsy at the moment. Maybe you could also add some more yellow plates by the head so it looks like he's buried better. Another little thing is that more gold and jewels could be added to the stash. Overall, very innovative entry, good luck!
  10. Thanks for the review, LegoKing. This must have been one of the first Star Wars sets, I don't even remember it! And a spectacular set at that: two sweet speeders and a cool tree (with a rare leaf piece), plus three cool figs (I especially like Luke's torso), and a chrome lightsaber hilt to boot. I would definitely consider getting this if I saw it in a store like Woolworths (which don't exist in the U.S anymore).
  11. Ah, I remember building this on Christmas Eve of '05... I enjoyed building it very much, and I have recently rebuilt some of it after I found the pieces behind my dresser. This is truly a wonderful set, with a terrific scout walker from Kashyyk, and the only set to include a clone scout walker trooper. I wish TLG would make small non-BP sets again... The only flaws that I can think of for this set are its poor balance while standing and the megaphone gun. Great review, LegoKing, keep it up!
  12. Kind of small to be a wheel block (about the size of a 1x1 stud, maybe smaller), but thanks anyway.
  13. Well, here we go again. But before we start the game up again, here's a few reminders: - Remember to post all non-story related things (such as commenting on a MOC) in a different color, like this. - Please try to post pics for the story at least once per chapter. - Have fun! Chapter 4 Jim Butcher gazed out of a port-side window. Even from space, he could see the beauty of the planet Felucia, as well as the dangers that came along. This is going to be a tough one, he thought. But he could also feel the end coming, whether good or bad for him and his allies, he didn't know. "Sir, we've arrived," stated one of the clone pilots that were on board. Jim started. He hadn't even sensed the pilot approaching. "Very good, corporal. Prepare to land". Now was the time to hold a private meeting with his teammates to discuss the plans for Felucia. He headed towards the conference room. They would be there. As he walked through the automatic sliding door, he pondered their coming mission. "Jim, you're here" greeted Oky Wan. Butcher sat down. "Okay, let's discuss the plan," said Thok. "Since the CIS are regrouping, we'll have a good chance of landing, but not too close to the bunker, where Adam has informed us is". "Then sneak into the base?" asked JD. "Unfortunately, it's not that simple this time. They will be expecting us, and will have tripled security" explained Adam. "We'll have to do an aerial attack with a small ship, and hope that we blow the place up. Most likely not though, the CIS aren't that careless. We'll have to use the explosion as a distraction while we sneak in, and plant charges on the main generator. But it won't be easy". "With all of the security?! It's doubtful" said Easy 501. "We'll have to take our chances," said Butcher. "It's the only way for now, but a solution will present itself when the time comes. Now, I suggest we get ready for the assault, there's no time to lose, they could use the time machine at any time, and that spells doom for us all". Everyone was happy to oblige, and headed towards their respective quarters to suit up.
  14. Wonderful MOC, Dragonator! I really like that tree technique that you've used, with the shrubs. Overall, very smooth-looking, and congrats on winning.
  15. Yes, the appearance of more and more Lego in this show is great! That tower was really good. By the way, John's girlfriend hasn't made an appearance in a while, perhaps they scrapped her? (oh, happy days! )
  16. Thanks for that high-res picture, jp-30. I really like that oil tanker. By the way, does anyone have any idea of that irange and black thing that Marion is holding?
  17. Yeah, I heard him, it's just it would make a lot more sense if he didn't leave the ship at all, and lived. Ah, well, we'll just leave it at that (that he left the ship) and continue the story. And about Skipper... he should still have a spot in the game, unless he requests to be killed off (which, admittedly, we (or I) should have done with DDS). It's not like we're "dragging him along", he's just part of the clone squadron for now. The new chapter starts later today, so be ready.
  18. Ah, I see... well... can we just say that that didn't happen? Nah... just make a new character, DDS. I also made the picture, Oky Wan, not him! No, the jetpack isn't custom, just a ski backpack. That other black thing that you see on the right side of the pack is part of wouwie's gun. From left to right, top to bottom: pr0 Wouwie Bob JD SimonJedi Oky Wan Jim Butcher Adam Thok Thanks for the sweet banner, Adam, much better than mine (although I used the same background pic). As Oky Wan said, you could maybe tweak the font, but other than that, great work!
  19. Very nice, Sandy! My favorite characters (in III) are Talim, Misturugi, and Raphael, and all of your figs are great! Now do a Link fig.
  20. Oky Wan, here's my sypnosis on the episode, but don't read it unless you want to see it for yourself. Basically, this episode revolves around this councilor guy whom treats Catherine Weaver's daughter. We find out that the daughter is in fact human, but thinks that the liquid terminator is her real mom. Her parents were actually killed by the liquid T-100, and then the terminator took up disquise as the girl's mother. The girl doesn't know about this, but is scared of her "mother's" cold attitude. After going to counciling, the girl becomes a lot more confident and happier, so to speak. The "mom" shows some signs of love towards the girl. Meanwhile, John also goes to the councilor because his name was on the wall written with blood (from a previous episode), and bugs it (with a transmitter). John shows signs of suicide, but it isn't confirmed. Also, Catherine Weaver is developing a learning machine secretly. That's all I have for now, feel free to ask any questions!
  21. Da Death Star, welcome back, I suppose. You can just remain as your previous character, who is still on the ship with the rest of us. Also, I'd like to start the game up again tomorrow, because I'm too busy today. Sorry! I'm also working on that banner, just need to do some fine-tuning. SimonJedi, the time machine will be destroyed very soon, I'm planning on it being in this chapter, but don't tell anyone. (Hehe, whoops!).
  22. Yes, you're right. I hope to get more orcs and dwaves this coming year. Hopefully battle packs are set to release for those two factions, and perhaps TLG can introduce two new ones next year (I say two assuming that elves will be on the Crownies side, so the Skellie side needs another faction as well, perhaps goblins).
  23. And since when was $100 not a lot of money? Personally, I would first get one of each set that I want, then get any multiple BPs, to ensure that I have enough money. But if some of you really have that much to spend on Lego, go ahead... Uh, anyways, thanks for the news, Sam89. I'm really hoping for that Venator!
  24. Hey everyone, I've been really busy with school lately, so I'm changing the deadline. I can either start the new chapter tomorrow or extend it... I'm assuming tomorrow is a better choice. I also have the pic for the banner, but I am unable to make a full banner, anyone want to give it a shot? (Check this post for a pic later). EDIT: Here is the pic. I can try to do something tonight, but no promises. Thanks to anyone who can do this!
  25. What are you talking about? Hinckley just gave us new pics of all six sets coming out in January!
