Well... relax, it's definitely an April Fool's joke. If Google and Topeka, Kansas switch names and Wikipedia puts up ridiculous stories, I'm sure FBTB can crack a joke or two as well. The whole point is to get people to believe you, so the TBB post isn't surprising, either. Chill out, people. (The comment trashing other Lego sites was crossing the line a bit, but then, that member doesn't seem like he's in on the joke with the staff. Punk.)

Well, it looks like my search paid off- this has been seen before! I just recently saw this music video, and I have to say, it's pretty cool. It only uses the original Lego colors, too, which is impressive. Here is a deeplinked video:

Good thing! I've gotten a little farther in the game myself (1st badge! ), and so far, so good. Definitely. They're excellent games, although Gold and Silver are the best, IMO. I'd suggest you start with either Red or Blue (or Green, in your case ), and work your way through the series in order of release. The originals might be the hardest, but that's how most of us started, and IMO, the experience won't be the same if you start with the newer ones. So if you like RPGs, this a great series to explore. Overall, they're pretty easy.

Jedi Duel - The Chosen One Tournament - Stage I
JimBee replied to pedro's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Pedro, looks like you made a small mistake on the second move- Low vs. Kick- Low wins. Which would mean that I win the duel, match, and stage? -
Sand Orange sounds fitting to me, unless they make another, lighter version of this. Then this would be Sand Dark Orange, and the other one would be Sand Orange.

OLD Mafia and Mystery Games Index
JimBee replied to MagPiesRUs's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Ricecracker has beaten me to most of the questions, but whatever. It's great to see such interest already! Yes! Please don't hold back on those! Yes ma'am. Don't worry, I think Ricecracker and I are doing fine as far as teamwork goes. Hey, hey, it's alright. We've got it all sorted out. -

Jedi Duel - The Chosen One Tournament - Stage I
JimBee replied to pedro's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Yeah! Glad this is starting, and I'm ready for my first duel with Rocanator. I can adjudicate, but will not be available as often as I used to be, so don't always expect results within a few hours or even the day. Also, it would be helpful to include you and your opponent's character names in the PM title if you're choosing to have me as an adjudicator. Meanwhile, can I send my actions right now for Round 1 to you, pedro? If so, you, Rocanator, should do the same. -
THE OLD Official Eurobricks Straightshooters List
JimBee replied to The Middleman's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
+1 for Jyves. Pleasure to buy from, fast shipping. Thanks again! -
Oh, you asked for it, fallentomato. Except I don't have a shark... but I'll find a way.
-
Nice idea for the variations- you convinced me to buy this set! I'd have to say that the dark bley one is my favorite.

Yes. This only happens to G/S/C because all three required an internal battery to have the day and night cycle. After ten years, they run out, and I think the save system was part of the internal battery. So R/B/G/Y should all still work. True, but I'll be disappointed if a gym leader or the Elite Four use Pokemon post-G/S/C.

I vote for MetoriD- 33. Inn Just so many nice details packed into a vig.

Maybe if you sell your house you can buy so many of these that you'd be able to make a full-size house. You're truly a Luxe, Posh, Grand Emporium Connoisseur! (The six-floor vertical is my favorite, although I think if you bought one more to add to the side-by-sides, that would be. Then you could have that escape-less catacomb of yours). I could never do that.

Interesting... I'd rather that scientists will leave this one alone for once, though. I'd imagine it would cause more problems than it would solve, a growing population and lack of food the largest of them. Not to mention diseases and the fact that it "goes against my beliefs", if that's a way to say it. A movie on this would be interesting. Action and sci-fi, please. No, but I doubt many people would agree to that. The same people living forever? Sounds perverse to me. And then there's the fact that no one is going to quit having sex, to put it bluntly.

This is happening to everyone. It's about that time when the cartridge's internal battery runs out. I don't know if not using it for several years helps, but I'll miss the memories... Good thing HG and SS are just being released though. A little pricey (40 USD) for a DS games, but still worth it, I think. The only thing I don't like is the fact that they add the new Pokemon to the remakes- I kinda wanted to re-experience the game as close as possible to when it was in 2000.

Round 3 Lothar vs. Squidsaber Flurry Mid-0/ Parry-0 Parry-0/ Mid-0 Lightning-1/ Throw-0 Mid-0/ Parry-0 Push-0/ Flurry Low-0 Health: 3/ Health: 2 Lothar(t) just barely wins. Good duel! Update profiles, please. I wouldn't mind a duel, either, if anyone wants to fight me.

Same here. I also got that sweet dark blue flannel shirt torso and the rugged-looking grey-bearded head w/ a scar over the eye. You're allowed to do that? On the Build-A-Fig tables and packages, it says in big letters to only have one of each part for each fig. In other words, one hairpiece, one head, one torso, one pair of legs, and one accessory. I was afraid I'd get in trouble for doing otherwise.

Nice entry to the PCB. I just wanted to drop in to say that the use of treasure chest lids for roof panels is genius- very authentic-looking. The stone wall and greenery add some nice details to the outside. I like what you did with the monkey there.

It was a hard choice between Mario and Zelda. Mario's been part of my whole life, starting with great games like Super Mario 64 and Mario Kart 64, and now the two newest renditions of the original Super Mario Bros. However, lately I am enjoying Zelda games. After playing a good majority of them, I'd say that Wind Waker is still my favorite, with Ocarina of Time as a close second. The puzzles, the open exploration, and the epic battles just outclass the goofiness and straight-up action of Mario for me. So, Zelda was my choice. I've hardly even played any Metriod games, but I do like the side-scrollers a lot better than the FPS ones (is the second poll question directed at this?). There are plenty of other flagship series for Nintento (StarFox, Kirby, Pokemon), but I agree that these are the three biggest. The Super Smash Bros. is a nice combination of all of these series, or at least the characters in them. That would be Sega.

There's no way you should be paying that much for only five minifigs and a few horses. Shipping was probably more expensive than the figs, here, so maybe trying to get all of your items from a single big store would save you money. It's your money, so don't let me try to tell you how to use it, but I would hope that you wouldn't want to spend more than you need to.

I'm torn. All of the time with sets, I leave them alone for a month or two, but when I need one, single part... I end up taking the whole thing apart. Either that or slowly pick off piece after piece that I "need". As of yet, I don't own I single modular building, but when I get the Fire Briagde and Grand Emporium, I imagine this will be the case.
