One ground floor, four uppers looks just right to me. Three uppers is alright, but four really brings out the grandesque (yes, you're not the only one who can make up words, Svelte ) of this set. Like Siegfried, the double columns ruin the side-by-side for me. I think if you differentiated the floors a little bit in each version, the building(s) would look better. I do like how the skylights are positioned differently, but changing up or removing one of those billboards is a good start. @ the catacombs. EDIT: I see what you did there. Here's another " " for being so posh about it.

By one minute. Good rendition of another Ch. 4 scene, but I agree with Oky that the sound effects could be better spaced. And maybe you could've added some background music as well. And always, hilarious accent for my character. Take your time with the next batch!

Not that this is a surprise, but I'm glad to see it confrimed. But boy, if they mess this up, the whole series will be ruined, because expectations are so high after TDK. I'm hoping for the Penguin to be the main villain this time. He seems like the logical choice, being one of the most recognizable Bat villains. I'm hoping he's portrayed as really creepy, like in the old movie with him, along with a dark storyline, like TDK. Harley Quinn might be a possibility, connecting with Joker's "death" (if he did die), but I'm leaning towards Poison Ivy. Although Gordon didn't have any daughters in TDK, so that background might be demolished...

That's hilarious! Especially using that CW head instead of the original- extra creepy! I like the wall details, and the way you used a silver dish for the medical droid is great. Good luck in the MOCathon!

Interesting work. I haven't seen that movie myself, but I like the color choices. There's one thing I'm a little confused on though- you said that these cost twice as much as a rare MISB set... how is that possible? These are all fairly common minifig parts, and I just don't see how five minifigs could be costly... especially if you already had them in hand, and didn't buy them.

Impressive, these most recent ones are much improved over your first Pikachu. Wobbufett is especially well done and accurate, with the tentacles/ feet sticking out and the tail with eyes. I also like Meowth's pose very characteristic. Keep 'em coming!

Blah blah blah. Yeah, that one. The best one. But now he's just so pathetic. And like that review (def's link) said, I felt like I already knew the facts presented about Ben in "Dr. Linus", and I don't need it drilled into my head by highlighting them with a mirror universe. The part at the beginning where Ben is accused of killing Jacob particularly bothered me- "H-h-h-h-e-e-e-s ly-lying! Wh-why would I k-kill J-jacob?". Pathetic. I was thinking about this, and came to the conclusion that this is probably the case. Miles wasn't on the island when they died, and I don't remember him talking about it to anyone who was. But that brings up another question- Sun was present when Miles said this, and she was one of the people who buried them alive. I remember the charm of that episode, "Expose", was that in the end, Nikki and Paulo were paralyzed, not dead, but the gravediggers never found out. Yet Sun didn't say anything when Miles said that.

Nice to see you again on the forums after such a long time, Zen. I remember you said you were busy with a huge comic project back in '08- given up on that, or just a very long project? Anyway, nice bases. You seem to have a lot of parts, and I like the wall detailing on the second one. Not sure I like the yellow, though, and they could definitely benefit from more details, not just a treasure chest or a box here and there. Also, I wish there was more action going on. Maybe a fight between Rebels and Stormies? A regiment in formation seems pretty boring, and I'm thinking that would better suit the Show your Army thread.

Not bad, but it could use some detail. For example, instead of having plain dark red wings/ fin, you could add some details like a Republic insignia, or some greebling. The body is done very nicely, though, very smooth curves. I also like the rear engine, and how the boosters are in an angled formation.

I use a large folded sheet of plain white paper, although it is a little small for large Lego creations. I would recommend white cardboard (presentation board) for a backdrop, though. Wrinkles in cardboard are unlikely, and it has a more reflective surface than paper (for brighter pictures). The Reviewers Academy also has tutorials and tips for Lego picture taking. If you're interested in taking good pictures for reviews, this is the place.

I didn't like this episode that much. It felt like a "filler" episode, where the events had hardly anything to with the excitement and events of the rest of the season. And it being a Ben-centric episode... let's just say I'm liking the character less and less. Since the beginning of this season (admittedly with very little screen time compared to Season 2 and after), Ben's lost most of his traits that made him an interesting character- his deviousness, his tendency to lie... now he just seems... pathetic, and his lies aren't even close to being as clever as they used to be. The alternate universe parts of the episode were pretty pointless as well, besides highlighting facts that we already knew (except with the AU "twist"). So not that exciting, even with the cliffhanger. I was expecting Charles Widmore to come any time by now, as his involvement with the island seems like one of the biggest mysteries, especially since we've been given very little background info on this. I did like the reference to Nikki and Paula from Season 2, though.

An update that hasn't been posted here... Excellent animation as usual, Jammie, and your sound effects in coordination with the action is improving. Very dramatic, I especially like the part when Oky lights his saber, very cool pose. Can't wait for more!

I was having a similar problem to MetroiD's. For me, in the Active Topics, all of the topics after the first page or so are marked as read, even though I know I don't have that much time on my hands for that to be possible. It doesn't happen all of the time, but often enough that it's annoying to have to check the threads manually. Well, not really, but it's a bother. Does this have to do with a limited allowance of updates as well?

All of those warnings at the beginning of the instruction booklets, ignored and publicly broadcasted. That was a really weird TV show. First, I wouldn't let my minifigures go inside anyone's mouth. Second, it would be impossible to tell for figs like Obi Wan and Luke, when only the colors and markings are different. Maybe she can tell by the amount of ink?

This is truly a luxe creation, Svelte! I really like the tiled roof- very interesting texture. The army men stands work well for adding variety to tree leaf shapes, and I can't wait to see what you do with them next. Is this based off of a real building, or just certain type of building?

Thanks a lot Shadows, knowing how exactly the game works differently than other Zelda titles helps tremendously. Now it doesn't seem as daunting as before, especially when time stops for dungeons. I just finished WW, so I'll give this a shot. I agree with def- Ocarina of Time is the way to go. Without it, I don't think Zelda would have nearly as much of a fanbase, since it basically set the standard for future titles. More importantly, it will set the way you play and the way you look at things. It's a good game to introduce you to the series. After that, I would go with Wind Waker or Twilight Princess, and see what happens from there. So yeah, just finished WW. I have to say, I ended up enjoying it more than I thought I would. It's nothing like OoT or TP, but it's good in it's own ways. Sailing isn't so bad thanks to warp points, and the dungeons are pretty easy to handle. I especially liked how the story was tied in with OoT's. The flood, Ganondorf being freed, and even the stained glass windows of the OoT sages in Hyrule Castle. The only thing I didn't was how easy it was- all of the bosses were really weak, the puzzles were simple, and the game was just to good to end so fast. At least it inspired me to play the sequels for the DS.

Yay! Looking forward to this. However, a question about the reserve... Does this mean that person does not get to play if everyone else holds their positions? If so, shouldn't it be organized in a way where one player every round (of the tournament, not individual duels) is "bye"? For example, Round 1 1 vs 2 3 vs 4 etc., etc. 17- bye Round 2 1 vs 4 5 vs 7 etc., etc. 15 vs. 17 14- bye Not every player will get to do this, but you could randomly pick who does each round. It could work for either the elimination or the Round Robin versions. It's up to you, though, pedro. Get well!
