The sun was set, and as usual, the culprits of the night were out. WhiteFang/ Wyatt Fandorski was returning from a meeting with an accomplice, pleased with the result. He was walking back to his shelter. Unfortunately for him, the rough bark of a palm tree he was walking by caught the cloth of his turban. "Ow, that's just great", he said. He struggled for a little while, until he heard footsteps approach. His tangled turban blocked his vision, so he couldn't see who it was. "Hey, thanks for coming", Wyatt said. "It seems I'm stuck... could you please help me out?" "Sure thing", said the figure. The mysterious figure raised his gun, and fired. The bullet went straight through Wyatt's head, but the friction caused the turban to go up in a quick flare. Wyatt Fandorski was dead. The figure fled, pleased with his killing of that night. Later, Rick/ Richard Ricardo was walking aimlessly on the beach. He was being stalked by a familiar figure with a hatchet. However, Richard was soon aware of his stalker. His keen senses alerted him, and he spun around, whipping out a full-size ax. The killer glanced at his tiny hatchet, then at Richard's ax, and gulped. Richard prepared to swing and fell his enemy, but another figure was dashing towards the killer. "Watch out!" yelled the second dark figure to the first. Richard swung his mighty weapon, and missed. The second figure had tackled the first, saving his life. It was a stalemate. The three glanced at each other, then all ran in separate directions. The next morning, everyone woke and headed to the center of the beach. There, they found Wyatt's dead body. Miraculously, he was the only one killed that night, and he was found to be Insane. With four Insanes dead, the Sanes had indeed been victorious. But there were still some crazies left, and a conviction must be made. The number of votes needed to convict today is 7. You may not vote for the first 24 hours of the game day. The Rules: This game will follow the basic conventions of a Mafia Game. Each "day", you will be given 4 real days in which to vote for someone to kill. The day will end as soon as a majority decision is reached, or when the 4 days are up. If someone has been convicted, you will find out their loyalty shortly after end of the day. After this a night phase will begin, which will last 2 real days. Then the cycle will repeat. Those players with night actions must PM them to Ricecracker during the night phase. If we do not receive them within the two days, they will not be counted. - There will be two main sides in the game. Your winning criteria will be included with your character PM. - Voting is to be done in the day thread, and should follow the following format: Vote: Character (Player). Please note the use of bold. This is the only format that will be accepted. To unvote someone, the same applies: Unvote: Character (Player). - There is a 24 hour limit at the beginning of each day. You are not allowed to vote during this time. - You may not edit your posts. Violation of this rule may result in a moderator kill. - Please avoid posting out of character (OOC) in the game thread. - Do not ever directly quote something the game moderator(s) have sent to you via PM, whether it be your character information, night action results, or any other form of communication. You may communicate privately via PM, but this is at your own risk, and should be considered part of playing the game. - Please be considerate towards the hosts. We will try our best to stick to the schedule, and your cooperation will help this greatly, particularly getting night actions in promptly. - There may be certain punishments for not reaching a conviction during the day. I guess that's why they call it lynching. -
Just saw the collection of of the sig-figs on your Flickr, Stash. And I have to say - Wow! All of them are really accurate, and I'm wondering if you already had the parts or ordered them on BL. Thanks so much for doing this!

Your Persian Version entry looks great, MrTools! Fantastic choice, the transfer from Pirates to PoP was very smooth. Instantly recognizable with the right amount of Persian flavor. I also posted my entry, the Persian Version of 8396 Soldier's Arsenal. -

Hassassin's Arsenal Gear up for the battle! Take the role of a Prince of Persia ® Hassassin and arm yourself with a variety of weapons! Available now! This entry of mine is based off of 8396 Soldiers Arsenal, in the Pirates line. You can compare how the two match up: And here's the arsenal by itself. It holds a double sword sheath with two katanas, a claw, and a spear. The Hassassin minifigure holds a double-sided ax and wears spiked epaulets. Enjoy! -
Prince of Persia Theme Month Game: Rules and Players
JimBee replied to Shadows's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Fifty two players, each with three night actions. Fifty two night killers, fifty two doctors, and fifty two role blockers... Yep, I think it's safe to say ol' Uncle Shadows has lost it. Are you planning on calculating all of these actions out? If so, I'd prescribe some Tylenol. I'm ready win! -

What minifigs are we missing - post your detailed suggestions here
JimBee replied to CopMike's topic in Special LEGO Themes
In case anyone doesn't know, here are what all of the Series 1 figures look like: And all of the Series 2 figures can be found here (possibly preliminary). Personally, I would like to see some sort of a spy figure. Male, suave hair, a small (modern-aged) pistol, and either a black stealth suit (like this) or a black dinner jacket w/ white vest and black bow tie. So basically, how the Forestman from Series 1 was to Robin Hood as this would be to James Bond. -
Ah, that's right. Thanks for that. I just hope they explain why buried bodies can't be taken over, and why Locke's body never disappeared.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures General Discussion
JimBee replied to Nabii's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I definitely think investing in a whole box would be the best bet. You're getting three full sets, guaranteed (unless other customers mixed multiple boxes up in the store), and you can sell anything you don't want to get at least half of your money back. So if you wanted just one complete set, you could sell everything else and possibly make more than what you paid. On the other hand, buying individual bags to find that one fig you want will cost you a lot... -
True, but maybe he isn't even dead. We only saw him get hit by the door, so he might still be alive. Either way, I'd rather have him as a surviving supporting character than Miles. What I don't get is why the MIB went through all of that trouble just to get Locke's body. He sent him back and forth between the island and the real world, just to have him come back as a corpse. And then, he's not even using the corpse itself, but taking on the appearance of it. Why couldn't the MIB just use any corpse? There were plenty to go around on the Island, hundreds, even. The Others, the DHARMA, the 815ers... why did it have to be Locke or Christian?

Probably because he doesn't have a big enough part. They can only fit so much in, and frankly (hehe), there was never any mystery surrounding him. he just sorta tagged along with everyone else. As awesome of a character as he was though. Hopefully that actor will get more opportunities in the future. But yeah, last week's episode was a huge shocker. I knew Sayid had it coming, but I always thought that Jin and Sun would've made it to the end. Maybe no one does...

I wouldn't worry about it. Real life is more important, and I don't think anyone [else?] is holding you to it. I am following this, and I'll be glad once the new chapter is here, but I don't expect a new one every month. Keep up the great work.

I did volunteer to play anyone else who wanted to have a game, but I guess it was forgotten... no matter, I don't really have the time or interest to play at the moment. Maybe another time.

Thanks for closing this, WhiteFang. The day was winding down to an end, and finally a conviction had been reached. Leo Nathans/ The Legonator was being advanced upon by the other islanders. "No, wait, I can explain!" he pleaded. "I am mere pawn in the games... of life! Please don't kill me!" But it was no use. The survivors had made up their minds, and continued towards Leo, ready to lynch. Unfortunately for Nathans, he was not looking where he was going, and backed up into the fire pit. He tripped on the stones that surrounded it, and fell in. He tried to get up, but the combined pain of his fall and the chars burning his skin was too much. He thrashed about and screamed as his skin caught on fire. The survivors watched in horror as his body burned to a crisp. After it was over, all that remained of Leo Nathans was a black charred skeleton (Shirley looked sadly away after determining that there was nothing edible left). After his shelter was searched, it was certain that Nathans was Insane. Pleased with their conviction for the day, the survivors slowly drifted off to bed, bracing themselves for what the Night might bring... The day has now ended, and night has begun. Please send your night actions to Ricecracker ASAP.

Who are you in The Prince of Persia? THE WINNERS!
JimBee replied to Shadows's topic in LEGO Licensed
I choose pedro. Instead of going with the boring, typical Arabic assassin, he came up with a lovely musician! I love the instrument. A close runner-up would have to be The Penguin. Excellent customization, as always. -
The current votes are as follows: Lego Nathans/ The Legonator: 7 votes (Big Cam, Bob, Shadows, Flitwick, Sandy, WhiteFang, Zapper Brick) Only one more vote is needed for a conviction.

Yeah, sorry about that. Thanks for being a good sport. -
Night fell, and soon, mischief-makers were out and about. Callie Peterson was leaning against a palm tree, thinking. "Haha, those idiotic Sanes will have no idea what hit them. This island will be all ours before long." She said to herself. Little did she know that someone was watching, and listening to her... A dark, mysterious figure swung down from the tree branches right above Callie's head in a split second. Tree branch in hand, the culprit knocked the unaware Callie to the ground, and began strangling her as it had done to it's previous victim. Eyes bulging, Callie struggled for freedom, but it was no use. She slowly lost consciousness, and soon after, her life. The figure stood up and brushed itself off. "Hmm..." it whispered. "I see now..." It gazed at the body of its victim before preparing to flee the scene. But before it could run off, it heard the click of a gun being cocked behind him. "You", said the second figure, pointing the gun at the back of the other's head. "Yes, me. And you... what a surprise. I should've known", replied the first figure, without turning around. "Well, thanks for helping me get rid of one more Insane, but you're much too dangerous to be kept alive". "Wait, I can help y--", the first figure never finished the sentence. The second figure fired his pistol, and the first fell away from the shadows, dead. Cyril Jenssens landed next to his victim, beat at his own game.... Later that night, Mike Collingham wandered out of his and his sons' tent to go to the bathroom. He began walking towards the jungle. Unfortunately for him, he was being stalked by a third killer, hatchet in hand. The killer wasted no time in hesitating, and swung and Mike's head. He never knew what hit him, and dropped dead without another thought. The next morning, the survivors woke and exited their shelters, bracing themselves for the kills of the night they knew would come. Everyone gathered around the three dead bodies on the beach (Mike's body was dragged to the other two). Upon sight of their dead father, Zane and Pryce began to weep and mourn. Bill also began to cry at the loss of his lifelong friend, Cyril. And with three more dead, it was a loss for everyone. Within the hour, all three of the victims' tents and belongings were searched, and their sanities were determined. Mike Collinham, was, unfortunately, an innocent Sane. He loved his two sons very much, and wanted nothing more than to be together with them. Cyril Jenssens, however, was found to be Neutral. He traveled the world in search of a place that he felt he belonged, and after a lifetime, he had finally found it. He was determined to create a life for himself on the island, and was willing to kill anyone and everyone to accomplish that task. In a way, he was the craziest of the crazies, a psychopath. Finally, Callie Peterson was searched, and declared Insane. She was plotting with her teammates to take over the island, and kill anyone who interfered. Now, it was a time for action. All sides had taken losses, and it was time to take the lynching a step further. Killing at night was no longer enough, and the enemy needed to be wiped out quickly. A conviction needed to be made today. The number of votes needed for a conviction today is 8. You may not vote for the first 24 hours of the day. The Rules: This game will follow the basic conventions of a Mafia Game. Each "day", you will be given 4 real days in which to vote for someone to kill.
