Dystopia - Confirmation and Discussion
JimBee replied to JimBee's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Yes, it looks like that is the case. No, we obviously did not notice that until now, thanks a lot for pointing that out, Rick. It looks like he edited it, so we missed it for that reason. Looks like TinyPiesRUs is now in the game! Hang tight, and we'll be sending you your role ASAP. -
Why do you think the Lego Toy Story theme was made? This has been known for quite some time now.

Dystopia - Confirmation and Discussion
JimBee replied to JimBee's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Whoops, sorry about that. Probably because your full username can't fit on your little sidebar, and I can't be bothered to check it. I'll go change it. Shhh, no one has noticed yet. We're just waiting for Macoco and The Legonater now (take your time, guys). Please give us a day or two to finish preparing, and we can get this show on the road. -
The Rules: This game will follow the basic conventions of a Mafia Game. Each "day", you will be given 4 real days in which to vote for someone to kill. The day will end as soon as a majority decision is reached, or when the 4 days are up. If someone has been convicted, you will find out their loyalty shortly after end of the day. After this a night phase will begin, which will last 2 real days. Then the cycle will repeat. Those players with night actions must PM them to Ricecracker during the night phase. If we do not receive them within the two days, they will not be counted. - There will be two main sides in the game. Your winning criteria will be included with your character PM. - Voting is to be done in the day thread, and should follow the following format: Vote: Character (Player). Please note the use of bold. This is the only format that will be accepted. To unvote someone, the same applies: Unvote: Character (Player). - There is a 24 hour limit at the beginning of each day. You are not allowed to vote during this time. - You may not edit your posts. Violation of this rule may result in a moderator kill. - Please avoid posting out of character (OOC) in the game thread. - Do not ever directly quote something the game moderator(s) have sent to you via PM, whether it be your character information, night action results, or any other form of communication. Violation of this rule will result in a moderator kill. You may of course paraphrase any information you receive; if it is your own words then it is fine. - Do not discuss game tactics or "play the game" outside the game thread, including in the General Discussion thread. You may communicate privately via PM, but this is at your own risk, and should be considered part of playing the game. - Please be considerate towards the hosts. We will try our best to stick to the schedule, and your cooperation will help this greatly, particularly getting night actions in promptly. - There may be certain punishments for not reaching a conviction during the day. Said punishments are final, and are to be obeyed. (Rules borrowed from Dragonator's Mystical Castle). Will the following players please confirm that they are ready to play in this thread: Characters and Players: Mike Collinham (Father of Zane and Pryce) - played by TinyPiesRUs Icarus Carter (Air Marshal) - played by Inconspicuous Richard Ricardo - played by Rick Ellen Allison - played by Eskallon Leo Nathans - played by The Legonator Callie Peterson (Head of airplane staff) - played by CallMePie Samantha Wonderfield (Co-Pilot) - played by Sok117 Ian Denton (Steward) - played by Iamded Bill Campbell (old friend of Cyril's) - played by Big Cam Zane Collinham (son of Mike and brother of Pryce) - played by Zapper Brick Bella Teller ("mistress" of Governer Brian Mason) - played by Badboytje88 Ron Callister (Pilot) - played by Ronconator Deborah Fredricks (Stewardess) - played by Def Pryce Collinham (son of Mike and brother of Zane) - played by Professor Flitwick Cyril Jenssens (old friend of Bill's) - played by Svelte Brian Mason (Governer of California) - played by Bob the Construction Man Wyatt Fandorski - played by WhiteFang Shirley Dover (Chef of the flight) - played by Shadows Patricia Rockford (Coast Guard Officer, joined on Day 1) - played by Pedro Seth Diaz (Coast Guard Officer, joined on Day 1) - played by Sandy Drake Johnson (Coast Guard Officer, joined on Day 1) - played by Dragonator Reserves: Escape the Fate Striker Quarryman The crazy one brickme dannylonglegs General Armendariz Millacol88 simonjedi ~~~ Again, please use this thread for only discussion about the game - non-players are welcome to join in on the discussion as well. Do NOT play the game in this thread or anywhere outside of it, except for PMs. Remember, have fun, and don't worry if you don't get into this game. There are plenty more to come, so just be a good member and you'll get picked eventually. - Ricecracker and JimButcher

Wow, looks great so far! Very true to the real thing. Just make sure you get those last details, like the deck, turrets, and huge wings. Here's a deeplinked image for you. Just copy the image location and press this button:

Happy birthday, TinyP!

Er, well, you gave us four panels and a sentence or two. You're going to have to make things a little more interesting before I can have an opinion on the series.

The lost adventures of Indiana Jones (chapter II)
JimBee replied to legoindy01's topic in Brick Flicks & Comics
Nice work, on both of these. Captivating sotrylines, and great stop-animation. The voicing isn't too bad, either, but it's sometimes hard to hear the voices over the sound effects and music. Looking forward to more. -
Glad to see the next chapter! Wonderful MOCs as always, I especially like the new sky city and the forest (the small waterfall is a nice touch). The story is getting pretty interesting as well. But after reading the "Who's Who?" entry, I still don't know who Minerva is. Was she in PQ, as the owl? Is she good or evil?

I've had two recently. On the 'blue boat': Just because I liked the "old" Reviewers Academy skin and banner better than the current one. I think it was Svelte during his name-changing spree, but could've been Bonaparte. Megabloxhead: Shadows was kind enough to turn my own April Fool's joke against me in the most praising way possible.

Fantastic MOC- just as I remember it from the movie/ short story. I like how the tunnel is sectioned away on the side, and I like how you livened the walls up with interesting stone work. The ceiling supports, stairs, and brick-built door are all nice touches as well. -

Can we post here? If not, feel free to delete this post... Anyway, I don't know about everyone else's, but my name has (4) next to it, and as far as I remember, I've only been awarded 2. -
It looks like in an attempt to get the PoP sets out quickly, TLG screwed up on parts quality. I got two PoP sets yesterday, and both had some really bad parts. The swords' pearliness was replaced by a gross glow-in-the-dark-type grey, and in one, the protagonist's face didn't have any black paint (no pupils or mouth printing).

Happy Birthday, CopMike! Have a fantastic day! Warm birthday wishes to WalterKovacs and LegoKing, too.

Is it safe to say that April Fool's Day is over in all parts of the world now? I think so. So yeah, it was an April Fool's joke, to anyone who was fooled. I didn't expect much to come out of this, but I did get a few laughs from those who thought I was serious. Thanks for the praising title, as well, Shadows. Until next year, then.

Alright, so not to start a new topic for close to nothing or anything, but I've noticed that the "Hot Topic (Unread)" icon had been out of whack lately. At least on my computer. Usually, the icon is a filled red suitcase-like box, but lately it's been different variations of this: The image code says "Christmas" in it, so is it an old board icon? And when I say it had different variations, the image still looks like a small map, but "torn" in different places. It seems like there's a new one every day. Sorry if this seems like a waste of a topic, but this is really strange. Just curious to know how it happened. BTW, I still get the regular "hot topic (unread)" icon sometimes for some topics. EDIT: It looks like the problem has been solved (for now, at least). The image in this post has changed from the weird image to the regular one, and so has every other Hot Topic (Unread) thread icon. Thanks to whoever. -
0n7Y 1F U n0w DA 5ECr3t c0d3! Did you have to spoil it? But I like to pretend to. "Euro" sounds so much more reassuring, although the "UnitedBlox" could work. Short and simple, I like it. Throw in a skin and banner fit for a king, and we're set. Get the advertisements ready. Yeah, sorry, bud. I'm ditching you on this one, unless you redo the sets with Megablox. I cannot work under the current conditions. Laugh all you want, but don't come crying to us once you get yourself labeled over on UB. Lost... in a sea of Lego. They really meant it when they said "this place is hell".

It's a working title. If you really want them. It's super-efficient since we're in neighboring states, and it would be a waste of oil and gasoline if I just threw out all of that plastic. At least Megablox has the decency of using eco-friendly cow manure instead of gas. Well, that's unfortunate, mister. I'm dead serious about it, and consider your invitation to Euroblox revoked. We have a special place for insolent Lego-lovers like yourself over there. I'm glad to see some interest, care to be a admin?

Hello, Eurobricks Community. I have some sad news. With funds running low, I've been having trouble collecting Lego lately. Not that I want to anymore. You see, TLG has produced nothing but boring sets the past few years, and I'm sick of it. Lack of innovation, invention, and creativity with so many licensed themes really tick me off, but it's the shortage in themes like Belville and Bob the Builder that really bring me down. So, I've decided an easy compromise between giving up my ex-favorite hobby and not having one altogether, I'm going to start collecting Megablox. The higher quality bricks, the low prices, and cool themes like Halo and Animals really appeal to me, and I will be switching over. Thank you for your time, and thank you Eurobricks for giving me such a great time here. If you share my love for Megablox, keep an eye out for a new site that I will be creating (Euroblox).
