  1. Interesting! Finally, a solution to the lack of yellow female heads. I just wish you could remove it once you were done. For example, if I wanted to keep a MOC together, and had colored Lego heads. Well thanks for the warning, no_skill.

Racing pigeons? How does that work? Wouldn't they fly away? Anyway, nice find. Hopefully someone will come around and claim it.
  3. Congrats on your promotion, Shadows! Although this is no surprise- you seemed to know all about this techie stuff.
  4. Crobat is a very awesome Pokemon, nicely done! Any chance of ever seeing a Scizor?
  5. Sorry, but honestly, I'm not a huge fan of the new banner and skin. Kind of feels like I'm walking into a child's doctor's office with kiddy wallpaper. Not horrible, though. The PoP one was kind of growing on me... oh well...
  6. Congratulations, everyone! I sure had fun (when was the last theme month we had... Indy 2008?), and I hope everyone else did, as well. Enjoy your prizes.
  7. What? This isn't real life. I don't think Zapper Brick would actually be crying about his make-believe father in an online game. That was also the idea with Ellen and Richard - they both had unconventional clothing on, too. No one seemed to notice them, though... Well, it was something along those lines. We were going to try to make it so that Pryce didn't even care, but we ended up trashing the idea anyway. Good thing, too, otherwise we might've had five or six deaths on our hands at the same time! And now, the night actions. I saved them on my forum notepad all this time: Night 1: - Inconspicuous/ Icarus Carter: Investigate Sandy/ Seth Diaz (unsuccessful) - The Legonator/ Leo Nathans: Kill Inconspicuous/ Icarus Carter (successful) - Bob TCM/ Brian Mason: Kill Badboytje88/ Bella Teller (successful) - Svelte/ Cyril Jenssens: Kill Pedro/ Patricia Rockford (successful) - Roncanator/ Ron Callister: Cure CallMePie/ Callie Peterson (unsuccessful) Night 2: - Svelte/ Cyril Jenssens: Kill CallMePie/ Callie Peterson (successful) - Bob TCM/ Brian Mason: Kill Svelte/ Cyril Jenssens (successful) - The Legonator/ Leo Nathans: Kill TinyPiesRUs/ Mike Collinham (successful) - Roncanator/ Ron Callister: Cure sok117/ Samantha Wonderfield (unsuccessful) - Professor Flitwick/ Pryce Collinham: Block Shadows/ Shirley Dover (unsuccessful) - def/ Deborah Fredricks: Investigate Sandy/ Seth Diaz (successful) Night 3: - WhiteFang/ Wyatt Fandorski: Convert Shadows/ Shirley Dover (successful) - Bob TCM/ Brian Mason: Kill WhiteFang/ Wyatt Fnadorski (successful) - Professor Flitwick/ Pryce Collinham: Kill Rick/ Richard Ricardo (unsuccessful) - Rick/ Richard Ricardo: Kill/ Self-defense Professor Flitwick/ Pryce Collinham (unsuccessful) - Roncanator/ Ron Callister: Protect Professor Flitwick/ Pryce Collinham (successful) - def/ Deborah Fredricks: Investigate Sok117/ Samantha Wonderfield (successful) - Eskallon/ Ellen Allison: Block Shadows (unsuccessful) Night 4: - Bob TCM/ Brian Mason: Kill Zapper Brick/ Zane Collinham - Professor Flitwick/ Pryce Collinham: Kill Roncanator/ Ron Callister (successful) - Shadows/ Shirley Dover: Block Roncanator/ Ron Callister (successful) - Eskallon/ Ellen Allison: Block Sandy/ Seth Diaz (unsuccessful) - Sok117/ Samantha Wonderfield: Protect Sandy/ Seth Diaz (unsuccessful, kill) - Def/ Deborah Fredricks: Investigate Eskallon/ Ellen Allison (successful) Night 5: Professor Flitwick/ Pryce Collinham: Kill def/ Deborah Fredricks (successful) Shadows/ Shirley Dover: Block def/ Deborah Fredricks (successful) def/ Deborah Fredricks: Investigate Shadows/ Shirley Dover (unsuccessful) Eskallon/ Ellen Allison: Block Rick/ Richard Ricardo (unsuccessful) Sok117/ Samantha Wonderfield: Protect Eskallon (unsuccessful, no kill) Night 6: Professor Flitwick/ Pryce Collinham: Kill Eskallon/ Ellen Allison (unsuccessful) Shadows/ Shirley Dover: Block Eskallon/ Ellen Allison (successful) Eskallon/ Ellen Allison: Block Professor Flitwick/ Pryce Collinham (unsuccessful) Sok117/ Samantha Wonderfield: Protect Eskallon/ Ellen Allison (successful) As you can see, Shadows and Flitwick were getting cocky by gang-banging their victims. Enjoy!
  8. Ah, I see what you mean now, Rick. It was difficult to gauge from a host's point of view. But I think it was worth a try. That was the problem. We took away Flitwick's roleblocking action to give him the killer role, and then gave the roleblocker to Shadows once he had been converted. What we should've done was just trash the roleblocker role and gave him the Watcher role. They weren't equally likely, it's just that we decided to return the roleblocker role since the scum hasn't actually "lost" it. I wanted Drake to commit suicide by blowing his head off with a flare gun...
  9. No, the role would've been randomly assigned no matter what. We has list of roles to add each night, for the first three nights. And Rick and Arjay are correct, Sok became the Sane Insane Investigator. Well thanks for being honest, we do appreciate opinions on this. What do you mean by conversions? No one was converted because of these roles, we had a separate list for each side. None of it had to do with our judgement or how we were influenced, either. Ricecracker literally threw pieces of paper with names of all of the Sanes without night actions into one pile, and all Insanes without actions in another, and picked out a name. Picking a name out of a hat is about as random as it gets. Do you mean "you" as in the hosts, or as in the players? We DID have everything planned out in advance: we said that "this role" will be randomly assigned on "this night", and so forth. And no, we did not plan for every situation, that would be almost impossible. We received the night actions from players, and determined how everything played out. But what does this have to do with what we're talking about? Like I said, none of these roles caused any conversions. Shadows was the only character converted, and that was because of an actual use of a conversion role. And while roles may have changed, alliances didn't. Can you give a specific example of a behavior change caused by a role change? Characters also find out new information all the time (between PMs), so one day they might be accusing a player, and the next, they won't. Doesn't mean they've been converted. What do you mean? When you were playing, you thought if a roleblocker/ protector died, the role was passed on? Non-standard? Just because they've never been used on EB before doesn't mean they're non-standard. Sure, the psych pair isn't usually seen, but isn't it nice to see new things being tried out? Mafia games wouldn't be very fun here if they all were the same. Compare one of the first mafia games here (Western, Witch Hunt, etc.). At the time, most players didn't really have a grasp on different roles and such, but now look at us. I think new changes like these are a good thing.
  10. Yes, Naive was the role. No matter who you chose to investigate, you would always see them as Sane.
  11. It was completely random. We didn't assign the Marshal the Investigator role on purpose at all, it was by chance. A little clarity on this - you died way after Svelte, so it couldn't have been him. Here's how the psychopath/ psychiatrist roles work: The Psychopath is neutral. He goes around killing people at night to achieve to criteria in order to win: - The Psychiatrist must die for him to win. - The Psychopath must either have all of the Insanes dead or outnumber the Sanes with the Insanes. So basically, he chooses a side to be on, if he knows which side that is. And the contrasting role, the Psychiatrist, goes around at night trying to "cure" the Psychiatrist. They guess (based on evidence) who the Psychopath might be, and try to cure him/ her. If they guess wrong, nothing happens, but if they guess right, the Psychopath becomes a vanilla townie, and the Psychiatrist becomes a Sane Doctor. We did tell you this, Roncanator, but I'm not sure if you were clear on it. After Svelte died, you no longer had to cure people, but you could protect (not block). And the Psychiatrist also has two winning criteria: - The Psychopath must either be cured or killed. - All of the Insanes must die. Yes. If Sok's protection was useless on a night (if the protected person was not targeted by a killer), we flipped a coin to see if he would kill the person he was protecting. That's what happened with Sandy. I never understood that. The Legonator kept saying "oh, this person was killed in order to get to this person". Well, a killer can choose to kill anyone it pleases, so there's no "getting to" in mafia games... But I have to say, you played very well in this game, Bob. I hope this won't be your last. No, but you can have all of the night actions. Here are all of the roles in this game (roles with "Sane" or "Insane" in their name don't have to do with alliance, but the role itself): Sane (Town): Sane Investigator: Inconspicuous Vigilante: Bob TCM Psychiatrist: Roncanator (changed to Sane Doctor after Svelte's death). Insane (Scum): Killer: The Legonator (handed off to Flitwick after death). Neutral: Psychopath: Svelte What's that? There's more roles than that? Why, yes, there was. In this game, Ricecracker and I decided to try something new, to make things more interesting. Instead of giving all of the roles at the beginning of the game, we decided to (randomly) assign one new role to each Sane and Insane side for the first three nights (they could not use their action until the next night). There was one small issue (as you'll see), but I think it balanced things out nicely. Sane: Night 1: Naive Investigator (all results come up Sane): def Night 2: Roleblocker: Eskallon Night 3: Insane Doctor: Sok117 Insane: Night 1: Roleblocker: Flitwick Night 2: Turner: WhiteFang As you can see, we ran into a slight problem with Flitwick changing roles. After The Legonator died, the killer role had to have been transfered to another Insane (see, we do know what we're doing, Legonator). With only two Insanes left, we chose to replace Flitwick's roleblocking role with the killer one. When WhiteFang died, and Shadows was converted, we gave Shadows the roleblocking role. If we could go back, something I would do differently would be to have the roleblocking role disappear, and give Shadows the next one on the list (ironically enough, it would've been Watcher). Night actions will be up later today.
  12. I think you could create a comic representation of the entire Star Wars saga with all of these MOCs of yours. Nicely done, I remember this scene well. I like the weeds poking out of the statue head, and the horn is creative, too. Please keep these coming, I really enjoy them.
  13. With Shirley dead, there was only one Insane left among the group. But who was it? The four survivors glared at each other, each as suspicious as the others. It was a stalemate. No one knew who to vote for, and each would, naturally, deny their insanity when accused. Finally, after exchanging more glances, at the exact same time, all four survivors quickly got up and ran different directions. Realizing that nothing would be accomplished, they started chasing after one another, in a four-way game of cat and mouse. Ellen turned around and charged towards Pryce, who was pursuing Richard. She tackled her prey, and began punching him in the face, while Richard escaped, going after Samantha. Quickly climbing up a tree, Samantha fled Richard. Not seeing where she went, Rick walked around, clueless. Hastily snapping off a tree tree branch, Samantha jumped down on Richard, who was standing directly below. She caught him off-guard, and wrapped the tree branch around his neck. He gasped for air, and tried to free himself, but it was too late. The last breath left his lungs, and Richard's body collapsed into the sand. Pleased she had been successful, Samantha ran off to join the other fight. Now, Pryce had gained the advantage, and was smashing Ellen's head into the sand. Samantha rushed up, and tackled Pryce, both tumbling into the ocean by the shore. The two struggled as Ellen regained herself, both trying to drown one another. Suddenly, Pryce pulled put a knife concealed on his person, and slashed at Samantha. He cut her once on the torso, and she fell in pain. The blood mixed in with the water, and the salt from the sea caused her wound to hurt even worse. Just then, Ellen sneaked up to Pryce from behind and grabbed his arm, making him drop the knife in the water. She kicked him in the stomach, then felt around for the blade. She found it quickly, and thrust it into Pryce's torso. He passed out, falling into the water and drowning. But Samantha wasn't down yet. She charged Ellen, knocking her back onto the beach and punching her in the face. Ellen swung out with the knife, cutting Samantha again. She shrieked in pain. Blinded with rage, Sam found a rock in the sand, and smashed it against Ellen's forehead. And again, and again, until all that was left of Ellen was a bloody pile of brains. Samantha was the only one left. She dragged herself on the ground to shade under a palm tree. However, it was too late for her, as well. Her two cuts were deep, and she didn't have anything to bandage them up with in her state. She bled out, and eventually died.... All of survivors of Flight 518 were dead. Every single one, killed by the very thing they promised to eradicate: Insanity. They had gotten so paranoid that they had started to kill one another, until no one was left. There were no survivors, no winners in this twisted game. Destruction was their cause, and it no longer mattered who was classified as Insane. No one was normal, and the only thing they had managed to create on this seemingly paradisaical place, was a Dystopia. ------- And that is the end of Dystopia Mafia. Thank you all so much for playing and keeping interest in this, you guys really made this successful. And thanks for your undying support. We really appreciate it. There was a problem near the end of the game (as you might have figured out), and unfortunately, the game had to end. We're sorry it had to end like this, but remember, it's not about the destination, but the journey. (It is up to those involved to discuss this resolved issue or not). Everyone (not just players) may now discuss the game with full openness. Roles, night actions, and final words from myself and Ricecracker will all come later. In the meantime, enjoy speculating about what you do and don't know.
  14. It was the middle of the seventh day of the five remaining survivors being stranded. On edge, everyone was keen to vote. But something had gone wrong... Shirley Dover had been taking a very long walk, and thought. She got so lost in her own thoughts that she in fact came up with a crazy idea. She came running back to the camp where the other four were debating about who to vote off that day. "Hey! Hey guys! Everyone!" she yelled. They looked to her. "Hey! I just thought of something! What if this game... of life could be over?". Everyone looked at her quizzically. Ignoring this, she continued. "Okay, so what if we could just live in peace together? No more killing, no more deceit... what if we all just lived in harmony? What if we created a Utopia, a perfect place of peace?" Still confused, and now bewildered, the other four glared at Shirley. "Alright, I am Insane", she admitted. Everyone gasped in horror. "--But let me finish. Haven't we all become a little crazy on this island? Killing people every day... I'm no worse than any of you. But we can stop all this, before we all die. Rescue seems unlikely now, after seven days of this madness, so we need to unite. Create a community. Live the rest of out lives here. We could create a paradise..." The four paused. Then, all hell broke loose. "Lynch her!" Ellen cried. "She's crazy!" yelled Pryce. But before anyone could do anything, something very strange happened. A large, white object zoomed towards Shirley. No, it was not a polar bear, but a flying car! It had descended from the sky, sent by the mighty mgods above. It hovered near the freaked Shirley for a moment, and then a brilliant blue beam came shooting out of the front of the car, zapping Shirley. "Eek!" she screamed, before it was her own organs that were fried this time. She died instantly. The four remaining survivors gaped at the smoking carcass of Shirley, as the flying car drifted away. They had no idea what had just happened, but they weren't going to wait any longer for an explanation. Action needed to be taken, because it was certain that there was still one Insane among them...
  15. Thanks for the honorable mention, Inky! A lot of great entries, but my favorite was from Duke:
  16. No more clones or droids, please. I would like something like a Wookie pack, and a Mando pack. It follows the OT-PT pattern, and the good guys-bad guys pattern. Maybe some of those Mandolorians we saw in CW Season 2? A black lightsaber-thing might be interesting.
  17. They didn't really answer much clearly in the finale, but what I think it is is the world the Losties created when they crashed on the island, with the help of Juliet blowing up the hydrogen bomb. It was the world in which everyone from the island had a better life, because they never crashed on the island. And, they all knew each other (once they realized it), so it was like heaven on earth. But still earth. Then, at the end, the church was when they "moved on". Together. To heaven, or whatever's beyond. And the reason (which I asked for earlier), that some characters weren't at the church, I think, is because they weren't taken with. Eloise asked Desmond if he was taking Daniel with them, and he answered "no". So maybe that's why [dead] characters like Eko and Michael didn't come with - they had more important parts of their lives than the island. Eko's being his life in Africa, and Michael's being his son (even though he was trapped on the island). Another question is, when does the meeting at the church take place? Well, Christian did say that "there's no where or when... here", so I guess that explains why characters like Ben and Ana Lucia were still living in the what-if-the-plane-never -crashed world, yet characters like Hurley and Jack had already died (not only on the island). Can you tell I've given this lots of thought? Yes! I enjoyed seeing Lapidus, Rose, and Bernard again.
  18. Actually, what I was thinking about when they showed the stained glass window was the candidates. For some reason. For example, Sun and Jin (we never found out if it was their kid who was the candidate...) would be represented by the Ying-Yang symbol, because they finally found that they were a perfect match for each other. And the star and moon would represent Jack because he was a "man of science" (astronomy). A little whack, but that's what I was thinking in that scene. I agree with Forresto, I think that was the 815 wreckage. Remember, Christian said that some died before, and some died long after Jack. Miles, Kate, Lapidus, etc. could've very well died. I think the "heaven" scene takes place far into the future, possibly hundreds of years, because Hurley and Ben were there. Remember that Hurley became the new Jacob, and Jacob's replacement had to "take care of the island for as long as he could". And since it seems that Jacob was living for a very long time, the same might be true for Hurley and Ben. What I'm curious about is why some of the characters weren't at the church. There's the possibility that they simply couldn't get all the actors back at the same time, but their stories were never explained. Characters like Paula, Nikki, Eko, Ana Lucia, Walt... none of them were there. Are they trapped on the island like Michael, or were they just not important enough to be there? Yet, characters like Boone were there... EDIT: By the way, are the "alternate endings".
  19. Wow... just an amazing way to end a great show. I'm at a loss for words.
  20. I'm a sucker for zephyrs, so this is already a great creation! It could have a little more color added to it, and maybe some details. But overall, nicely done.
  21. Agreed. Some parts from this season seemed unnecessary, and nothing was really explained until after Dogen died. But yeah, I'm excited for this! I can't wait to see how it all... everything from the last six years... ends. I have a horrible feeling that this will leave another giant hole in television, though, right next to The Sopranos. I'm also interested in those alternate endings on Jimmy Kimmel Live. Are they legit endings that were actually thought up and filmed by the studio, or just spin-off endings by Kimmel's studio?
  22. Skalldyr: 1 point pedro: 1 point Inconpicuous: 1 point Good luck, everyone!
  23. Some really creative entries... I can't decide! Dunjohn: 1 point pedro: 1 point MrTools: 1 point And a few entries that also stood out to me: bricknave's Scorpion Sweeper (very creative, would've never thought converting PM to PoP possible). Fatyankee's Single-Drum Roller Fugazi's Persian Grocer (huge entry!) lisgr's Fight for the Golden Tower (I love the bird in place of the robot glider) Swiss Army Droid's Persian Armoured Chariot (another really creative one, that makes a lot of sense, too).
  24. So hard to choose... I Scream Clone: 1 Point lego maniac: 1 point Inconspicuous: 1 point Good luck to all.
  25. Happy birthday, you three, and everyone else celebrating their special day today! Have a great day, and spend it with family and friends. And rattling packages.
