  1. Read somewhere (maybe in this thread) that fake chimneys were used at the time since multiple chimneys were a sign of wealth and status.
  2. The mechanical game of life, by AncientJames, belongs to the "on Blakbirds shelf" category. https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/164622-moc-mechanical-game-of-life/
  3. Hm, sorry for that, I have no idea what happened when I put the link to the youtube clip of that excellent front axle. I don't dare to make another try, so you just have to search for it instead; I know it's discussed in this thread. Back to lurking...
  4. Nicjasno's front axle. Edit: crazy youtube link removed.
  5. Now we must stone you to death for speaking His name out loud.
  6. - Is it a bird? - Is it a plane? - No, it's... no spoilers here! If my guess is right I believe we have some reading to look forward to!
  7. I think there was a similar thread some time ago and then the culprit was a bad battery box.
  8. Or like a Tatra. The small wheels must be for negotiating trenches. You would get stuck in an instant without them, with that long, sticking out nose buried in the ground.
  9. You might want to second this in the HoF discussion topic!
  10. Nominating Lipko's telehandler http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=135779#entry2591096 Great looks and functionality, one of few with self levelling forks!
  11. Manual pumps really does the trick. They're powerful, quiet and make precise control so much easier.
  12. I'm nominating Nikolay's motorcycle for its excellent functionality: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=134838#entry2586039
  13. Isn't this prototypical? BWE:s only dig when they're stationary; moving the buckets sideways by turning the superstructure. When they can't reach more material the drive to a new spot and start digging again.
  14. Judging from various videos I think it's almost too fast for its scale. These things are SLOW in real life, you know.
  15. A two or three truck shay with two or three cylinders and all the rods and stuff in place. Shay's were narrow gauge so it could work with standard lego tracks but I would prefer a slighly larger scale with enough custom made tracks (straight plus curve) to roll the locomotive and show off the engine and the articulation. Possibility to motorize (but not standard, to keep the price down) would be a nice plus.
  16. That's when you use the red buttons... Should be easy to fix if you use bevel gears instead of the universal joint.
  17. Hm, must be the Interwebs. Have you emptied your cache?
  18. Now the "Coming soon" without date is shown on more shop@home sites, for example Sweden, Denmark and Germany. Not yet US though...
  19. Same for Sweden. I think the date is gone only from AU and NZ sites. Edit: Now the "Coming soon" without date is shown on more sites, for example Sweden, Denmark and Germany. Not yet US though...
