  1. I'm guessing the stone army just disintegrated, and if not, they were probably sealed underground like before.
  2. That's certainly not what I expected from Ninjago of all themes. Also the box for 70725 has the things on it positioned exactly like the box for the Epic Dragon Battle. They look almost identical from box design.
  3. In my opinion I think they should make a custom mould for the scorpion tail, although that would probably be extremely specialised and rather useless. I still fail to see who on LEGO's design team thought that arachnids being made in a bipedal, humanoid, minifigure form.
  4. I guess I misinterpreted the size when I looked at the pictures of the boxes from Comic Con, but $4? That's a really low price, even for a small set. Aren't those tiny City sets like $10? This is the kind of thing I expect to get for four dollars, not something the size the Mixels are. The price per piece must be pretty great.
  5. I think I've seen a few carrying them at the set-up LEGO store at KidsFest in Richmond, but that's about it...
  6. Easy way to pick up chicks. But actually, I'm curious as to how many of those kinds of things sell. They have new ones every year, so I guess they sell alright, but it's not something I could imagine myself buying...
  7. Interesting, but the chances of that are slim, just because the idea of that is a bit more "dark" than the typical LEGO theme's story (although Bionicle did it).
  8. why does he have a yellow hand Also Reagull is in Legends of Chima Online.
  9. Goodness, this theme gets weirder every year. Hey, whatever sells, I guess. Looking at that art, none of them are standing out as things I should buy (some are interesting; I'll probably pick some up for the heck of it), but I do like some of the designs. The only thing I don't like is that looking at the artwork, it doesn't really make me think of Ninjago on first glance.
  10. Hey maybe we'll see an actually good battle scene in there with good special effects and plotline. But sadly no. That never happens.
  11. That's beautiful! Well done! Not only have you done an excellent job recreating the form of a Dalek, but the way you've given it a twist with the Blacktron accents is great.
  12. Nice review! This is certainly a set I want to get. I love the Architecture line, and this is certainly a good part of the series.
  13. Well, this will end up in the collection pretty soon. Absolutely beautiful set. The amount of detail put into it is great, and I'm always a fan of sets that have a high display quality to them.
  14. Plus these aren't watermarked "preliminary" or anything, so I'd say it's safe to assume it's the final design.
  15. "Fake CHI"? Is that like fake weed? Chima really isn't helping itself with the whole CHI/drug analogy, is it?
  16. Lol when I saw the first one it reminded me of Team Fortress 2. Awesome images though!
  17. Because his name is not Cole.
  18. Glad to hear your opinion, and it justifies my reasoning of why I stopped following this series after the third episode... It really could have been a lot more epic, since the entire plot is of a conflict between factions. There could have been more intense stories in each episode, more action, and less cheesiness. Like you said, if this is going to be 13 episodes, I can't see the finale being very good at this point. I guess they're having too much repetitiveness and too much cheesy action. There's plenty of foreshadowing, but there has been since the premier. At this point we pretty much know Crominus and Crunket will return, and with the excessive foreshadowing of that, it could have happened several episodes back, and the story could move on. I'm guessing Crominus and Crunket's return will be the real "climax" of the finale, which will be rather disappointing, since it's not much of a dramatic turning point when we already can see it coming...
  19. Since I didn't post it this morning since I had to rush out the door, I'll state my opinions now. The minifigure looks pretty cool, but the name is... eh. "Cryptor" sounds like a sidekick dog for a superhero. When I hear "Cryptor", I think of this: That also means that these aren't the four main ninja from before, so whether Cryptor and others are protagonists or antagonists, it's ruled out all the rumours that the ninja got turned into cyborgs. It does make me question, why, from seeing the first one, do I expect that these new characters will have the same colours as the original ninja in the theme? Are they like those "Bizarro Ninja" like in the episode Double Trouble? I'm curious to see more info.
  20. Here's the three images: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Meiko/Ninjago/cryptor1.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Meiko/Ninjago/cryptor2.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Meiko/Ninjago/cryptor3.jpg
  21. Let me start off by saying that if this is in the wrong place, my apologies. I couldn't find anywhere else where it would fit. I made this program to be a versatile program to get images from cache.lego.com, because I myself can never remember the URL or can't find it in my history. I made this program to make it easier. You simply type in the set number, and it shows you a preview of the set and the packaging, and gives you links to open the image in several resolutions in your browser. I decided I could post it on here in case anyone else can make a use of it. It's open source, and I will continue to develop it if any good suggestions are made. [Download] View on GitHub Screenshot: Feel free to use it, and do give feedback! :) Once again, apologies if this is in the wrong board. Hope you all enjoy it!
  22. Wow, I like the truck. Really nicely designed! Thank you for sharing!
  23. Can't wait for 2014 pics!

  24. Oh, so maybe we'll see a lot of Furty? I still haven't seen a single episode of the show since the third one...
  25. Wow, so that's like US$20. That's a lot for something this small. I was thinking it'd be between 12 and 15 USD. Brickipedia's page for it says it's US$14.99, which sounds reasonable, but whoever added it didn't cite it, so unfortunately I'm not sure.
