  1. Odd, I found the problem. "Outlines on bricks" is the cause, which is strange since it worked fine the other day. Oh well.
  2. I just decided to make a new MOC, in which I was working on a new Castle model. I was building it, saved it, closed LDD and relaunched it a few minutes later, and when I opened up the model I was just building it was all screwed up. I'm emulating LDD on Linux (Ubuntu 13.10 amd64 w/ GNOME shell), but I'm certain that isn't the problem since I've been able to build and reopen models before just fine. Here are some screenshots:
  3. BrickQueen still exists? And the rhino looks cool. I like the head mould. Hopefully it comes in more than just medium stone grey.
  4. I love these little things. I can't see a single one I don't like. Guess I'll be getting them all.
  5. Did that, still this error even after the addition of the repo and the update: Package kdelibs5 is not available, but is referred to by another package. This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or is only available from another source E: Package 'kdelibs5' has no installation candidate I'll go to askubuntu later today. EDIT: Posted at http://askubuntu.com/questions/368140/unable-to-install-konstruktor-program
  6. nobody will read this

  7. I've been trying to find a good Linux LDraw-based program, and found Konstruktor, since it was linked on http://wiki.ldraw.or...Started_-_Linux. I tried installing it, but its failed after various attempted methods. I'm not sure if anyone here has any good Linux knowledge or not, and I'm not a newbie with working with Linux or command line, but I can't seem to find one of the required packages no matter what I do. I'm running Ubuntu 13.10 amd64 with a GNOME shell. This is the dependency package I need, but when I try installing it, this is what I get: george@GEORGE-PC:~$ sudo apt-get install kdelibs5 Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree Reading state information... Done Package kdelibs5 is not available, but is referred to by another package. This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or is only available from another source E: Package 'kdelibs5' has no installation candidate Here's the errors I get when trying to install the amd64 Konstruktor package: george@GEORGE-PC:~$ sudo dpkg -i '/home/george/Downloads/konstruktor_0.9-beta1-2_amd64.deb' Selecting previously unselected package konstruktor. I've also successfully installed another package, kdelibs5-dev, but it didn't have any effect on the konstruktor install.
  8. That looks awesome! Can't wait to get that one.
  9. Pretty sure all the tribes had their excessively-goofy-looking minifigures.
  10. The packaging looks pretty cool. The head mould is also pretty cool looking. Is the bat speedor mould new? It looks like the wolf speedor mould...
  11. The closest one to me is also Florida right now, which remarkably I haven't gotten around to visiting. The only LEGOLAND I've ever been to was California, which was several years ago, before LEGOLAND Florida was even in the drawing boards.
  12. I was rather hopeful for the Portal project to pass, but was willing for it and somewhat expected it not to. I'm surprised that the Android robot set didn't pass. I really liked that one, and Google and LEGO are two companies who have worked well together in the past.
  13. As reported by Brickipedia (I posted it ), LEGOLAND is currently looking at putting a LEGOLAND park in Stafford County, Virginia, USA. Stafford is just north of Fredericksburg, Virginia, and is about 40 minutes to an hour south of Washington DC. Here is the original story: http://news.fredericksburg.com/newsdesk/2013/10/22/legoland-considers-building-theme-park-in-stafford-county/ And for a fun fact, I live in Stafford, Virginia, so if this ends up happening, it'll be really cool for me.
  14. It'd be nice to have them in several more colours, silver at least.
  15. I watched Ravens vs. Eagles on the file I downloaded and linked above, but got bored early on. Near the start though, I realised that after this conversation: Raven: "How do you tell who's the richest and most important?" Eagle: "Oh we don't think that way. Our tribe is a utopian collective where everyone is equal and private ownership is striiiictly forbidden." The eagle tribe is essentially communist...
  16. I don't think so. I haven't seen anything about it in a while.
  17. Yeah, the TubePlus site is pretty bad with playback. I've tried to watch Doctor Who on it a few times, and it had the same problem with it stopping every few seconds. I think it's one of their intentional catches so you buy a "Premium" membership. I went ahead and just downloaded the video file from the site so that you don't have to use their stupid video player. Here's the video file. It's in an FLV format, so if you don't have anything to play that format, install VLC.
  18. Looks... interesting. I guess I do have to admire the amount of variety in colours of the Chima minifigure parts, since that might come in handy.
  19. Minidolls for Simpsons characters? I don't think so.
  20. I don't see what's wrong with them. Can you give more detail on what you don't like?
  21. They don't look too bad. I'm curious as to whether or not the hair can be interchanged on the head. It looks like it may be able to, which would be great.
  22. It was a character in the TV show that was somewhat prominent in a few episodes.
  23. Don't you mean Crunket and Crominus? Or did Crooler go missing some time between when I stopped watching the show?
