  1. Good job on this TIE Advanced MOC! I think the shape is great and very similar to the actual movie model. I like that you put a lot of thought into the play features. I want to make a TIE Advanced some day as well, It's inspiring to look at yours.
  2. Thanks guys! You're right about the large rover wheels! It's in one Chima set If I recall. Would be cool to see a licensed theme that uses large transparant dark green (or any old school trans. color) in the future, so TLG can't avoid and has to make them. Take a look at Super Heroes sets; The Darkseid and Brainiac set have some windscreens in old school colors: trans. dark blue and trans. neon green.
  3. I suppose you meant this link: http://www.buildingo...ickficiency.php Right now the link redirects to the 7th page of this topic.
  4. Amazing! I admire the the hard work that went into creating this A-Wing, I imagine working on uneven studs is very difficult to pull off for this scale. The cockpit and engines are very nice solutions.
  5. Alright, It's a pity but for now I have to go with the older ones.
  6. I recently made an order for Brick & Pieces for my Pirates and Space needs and now I read about this! Looks like I have to order yet again at P&B, I purchased 5 blue coat figure pieces, except for the shako's. Does anyone know If the modern shako that is listed as 'out of stock' on the P&B site gets eventually 'in stock' or is It forever out of stock?
  7. Very cool modification of the original Corsair ship! I built the original ship just recently and It's very nice to see how you modificated It into a ship armed to the teeth with cannons and a upper deck. Looking forward how this ship will deal in Brethern of the Brick Seas.
  8. Great job with designing this as an official set and I like the little details for playing around with.
  9. What an awesome mech! I like how you did It's legs and the use of that cockpit is right up to my alley and I might borrow the design for a future MOC. The rear and the use of stickers makes this mech more alive and completed.
  10. Between Oleon and Pirates... Bluecoats with big fortresses and huge ships appeal to me the most and faith can be interesting for story building. Pirates being the lawless roamers of the sea appeal to me because... well, pirates!!
  11. That's one sturdy looking pirate fort! I think the beacon and the foliage on the walls are a nice touch for the fort.
  12. Well done on the paintings! Cool technique to use the plastic sails for them and nice use of the Fabuland bench.
  13. Well, It is a remake of a retro set after all! True, but I suppose that's a fact we have to live by for now. I just use alternate transparant colours for existing LEGO themes. It might not be very purist to the theme, but I think I should'nt matter. As long the feeling of the theme is captured, I'm pleased.
  14. I got It from Legoland Germany, from buying loose parts in 2012. I just learned that It originates from an exclusive Jean Grey minifigure.
  15. Thank you all for the kind words!
  16. Yes, the bright colour scheme works very well. I think It gives a spring like feeling. Great detail on the roof and I like the back of the house.
  17. Very great greencoats, Cap. Braunsfeld! I wish Pick a Brick online for The Netherlands have the new Pirate torso's available in their shop.
  18. That's a very messed-up-in-a-good-sense sail 'space' ship!
  19. I think you nailed the south European atmosphere very well. Good detail on the placement of the first and last houses.
  20. There are a lot of great entries on the minifigures and I do enjoy looking trhough them from time to time!
  21. Pfff locals, such noisy plebs! Simple and striking execution, I like the cutted half perspective of this bath.
  22. Beautiful facade and great use of 1 x 2 plates! I like the peek in the tatoo workshop.
  23. I finished this one recently for a change! This is also my first redux MOC, which meanse It's based on LEGO set 6897 - Rebel Hunter. The prison hatch system remains and is closely reproduced. I had to settle with trans. black instead of trans. green, because of relying on what I had at the moment in my LEGO collection. I think darker windshields are a cool alternative for Space Police 2, don't you think? I also tried to get the picture as natural as possible, without too much Photoshop effort.
