  1. the layout/setup of the interior of the ship, and where the landing gear is situated on the ship and where exactly it retracts into. I have some pictures, but I don't know where certain rooms are inside the ship, or if I have all the rooms etc. So basically, a video footage of its layout.
  2. Hi people, more of a request than a question... Is there anyone here or that you know of that plays SW:TOR, has a Sith with access to the Sith Fury Interceptor, and also can use fraps? If you do, can you please send them my way? Many thanks
  3. has anyone bought 2 of these and somehow one way or another used all the pieces to make one big house? I got one for Xmas and think there is so much potential to do this (and will most likely do it sometime).
  4. I'm with calisupra on this one. It does look like they have tried too hard to get the angle on the front of the nose that the rest looks like it has been compacted too much to something of a mini with something of a volvo front nose. It looks like crap. At least the old one attempted to get a decent amount of walking/floor space on its roof. This new one looks far too squashed and lacking, in favour of getting the slant on the nose correct, ignoring everything else.
  5. Opinions beg to differ too I actually prefer the minifig sized snowspeeders trying to get as close as possible to detail while retaining minifig scale, than the UCS snowspeeder. So, in my opinion, the current snowspeeder is the best yet. (or at least form the wompa cave)
  6. Mine was finished in October, although I still love looking at the pics of yours, it is different in so many ways yet just looks brilliantly executed! (http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=74876&hl=%2Byes%2C+%2Banother+%2Bat-at%2C+%2Bsnow)
  7. asking for credit when he hasn't given any is basically implying he has stolen ideas due to lack of credit. Seeing your response, I instantly thought 'oh here we go again, with the stupid replies... ' and sure enough, Bingo! *edit* Anyway, let's not tarnish Rast's good moc with our disagreements, we can continue in private message if you so wish. Using the glass canopy piece pretty much sets up the scale and so certain pieces to be used. How did you start with your one Rast, what was the starting point for your creation?
  8. Anio reaching for credit where it isn't actually due... Rast, yours is different enough that I don't feel it 'stole' from Anios one. When people do moc's of certain vehicles, there will naturally be a way where certain pieces are best used. So don't worry about him. I do really like your Jango's version, It differs plenty from Bobas one and perhaps one day I may bring myself to make one if I can spare the money! Glad you spared it first though, at least I get to see it in pics =D
  9. I dont know why you are so against these sets? Despite the success or failure of the game, the sith fury interceptor is a brilliant set, and this battlepack is an excellent addition. Nothing wrong with either in design whatsoever, apart from perhaps the prices, but inflation and all that... At least they are open to various sub themes to help break up the bore for lots of people of OT rehashes. They cant please everyone, but all your negativity is directed in completely the wrong place. It belongs on SWTOR game forums, not here in the lego forums where they have done excellent with their designs.
  10. It makes as much sense as whacking a load of things together that havnt been changed or done before but they do it anyway and add a 'hard to find' general rieekan fig and suddenly its all ok. What they done with the a-wing is no different than the hoth set, but you are ok with the hoth set. Its all about peoples preferences, and what they may have missed out on and are now able to get again, as your preference for the hoth set proves ^_^ Personally, im overjoyed at the a-wing having missed out previously, and also the chance to get a tauntaun, probe droid, rebels, snowtroopers and a second snowspeeder in the same pack.
  11. Hi, thanks. I completed it in October in real bricks. There is a new thread titled 'Yes, another AT-AT! But crashed in snow!' which has pictures/links etc. The LDD file needs updating for the correct build of the head, I shall do that when I find time shortly, and make it available. As for instructions, it would be best to use LDD instructions although some parts get placed in the incorrect order as, if you do decide to build it, you will find out.
  12. Another brick. That stress crack will be throughout the thickness of the plastic of that discoloured area, and that doesnt disappear over time.
  13. Range finders would still fit, and any single sided accessory. As for visors, I'm sure they will start popping up later on in time on some custom Lego accessory making website... if not, well.... bad TLG!
  14. I can understand Lego not including them as jmagaletta explained, however I am not too sure about all the negativity or frustration about the lack of holes, due to the fact that there is a very simple solution. Just get a pin vice drill and hand drill them. If anyone is unsure of doing this themselves, get someone either adult, or experienced to do it. Sure, to have included a hole in the first place is something TLG shoulda done, but if TLG are now insistent on no longer including those accessories, well, this is a very simple fix for it which will allow them to be used again.
  15. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=71969&st=0 Right at the very bottom of the first page
  16. I have seen one in one of the UCS SSD threads, cant for the life of me remember whos though... Try Mortev's first, then you should find out in there who else has done a SSD and go from there. Sorry I can't provide more exact details :<
  17. I hope the battlepack prces aren't a direct reflection as to the UK price, as in £14.99... or I'll be hugely disappointed at yet AGAIN another price increase
  18. I understand how you have come to this conclusion, however I'm not so sure, and think I disagree, judging from what the guy that this source info originally come from: The construction seemed narrower, less round... I can't imagine it would be narrower and longer... and somehow manage to contain 300 more bricks, unless they played their usual tricks of using two 2x1 plates where a 2x2 plate would easily do. Also, just look at the proportion of the new AT-RT... using proportions as a means of guessing size of lego playsets is imo, a waste of time.
  19. It does appear that way, but I hope not! Argos havn't restocked them for a while, they are usually pretty good with stock...
  20. reinforces my opinion that both these sets are parts sets with bonus minifigs...
  21. The lights are rather nice, but the colour of the arches are the wrong way around
  22. Excellent! Ill definitely be picking this up! Not a bad price I guess, specially for the awesomely detailed A-Wing pilot, and imo, still a very decent rendition of the ship itself!
