Get ready for lots of Technic pins -
I really like this! Makes me want to go back to mine and lighten it as its too top heavy. Yours looks like it is quite light and well made :)

[MOC] Imperial Troop Transport from Rebels
Fuppylodders replied to michaelozzie's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I really like it! It looks authentic to the source style, and the way you achieved the front is well done too. Does it have an interior? -
I don't believe it is. Look at it this way... We will be getting Snake. What does he do? He's a career criminal. Held up the kwiki mart with a gun, robs things, threatens people, has been in jail etc... how on earth can a bar keeper be worse than that?

HAha I love it, that really is a brilliant idea, and one many enthusiasts will only dream of having! Love how your wife essentially went: 'Yeah, basement is all yours!' 'except this bit of it. It's now mine...'

You know what... This is a really good improvement! I think the height is just right and makes it appear more 'real' to what it is supposed to be portraying! Great job!

That would have to be one HELL of a BIG Tie... I don't think that rumoured big set is the Tie... -
[MOC] An All-Terrain Dewback-Transport (AT-DT)
Fuppylodders replied to DanSto's topic in LEGO Star Wars
This is simply astonishing. I love the various features of it, that tail slide though...! The modularity of it is an interesting idea to apply to it, it would be interesting to see that additional module with the AT-TE gun actually attached to it to see how it looks. I like how the belly opens up, the freedom of movement for the head, and the apparent solidarity of it. One question. Do you have an LDD file for it? -
Your personal opinion, and projection of the fact you have a different sense of humour. I find it funny and quite entertaining. I liked watching it from series 1, and watching how the characters grew throughout the various series. I liked to see the challenges they faced (as happens in real life, not just as portrayed in the show as some might think/are making out) and I really do not see the problem with it being done. So what if it is 'aimed at adults'... Who are the ones that buy their children Lego, or give them money to buy Lego? Adults. The fact that they are doing this is actually pretty clever as it is aiming a new theme which may appeal to adults that wouldn't have necessarily bought Lego for themselves previously. And in doing so, are perhaps starting them off on a new lease of Lego enjoyment that may spread further than just this one set. I don't like the birds set that was chosen as it appears very boring and too simple with nothing really special about it. But I can see its appeal to others who may like them. If we are going to talk about slippery slopes and etc... I don't recall anyone bringing up the issue of the cat/mouse set (not ideas, but creator). Cats in real life will 95% of the time go chase a mouse down and kill it for 'fun'. Is that really a thing that should be promoted to children, to make his Lego cat hunt down a Lego mouse and torment/torture/cause pain? There are bad points about everything... doesn't mean that it shouldn't be done.

I have the set, and for £20 off rrp, it is most definitely worth getting. I wouldn't hesitate getting it! -
SEems you had success, went to report it and its already taken down ^.^

What technical limitations are they? If it is simply a case of you won't have the bricks for it, design it in LDD and maybe look to order the pieces after it is designed? For something as much of a solid block of an MTT, minifig scale shouldn't be a problem.

LEGO Star Wars 2015 Pictures and Rumors
Fuppylodders replied to Erdbeereis's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Why don't you have a go at designing one yourself? It's very satisfying when you build it, and it fills that empty Hoth void of a full size one :P Then you have the choice on whether to buy one if they release it and break yours up and sell the parts, or just sell it... or not buy it and keep yours -
You used the similar part underneath, given that the rest of it is designed (looks to be anyways :P ) really well, Im surprised you didn't use it in the first place. Either way, like I said, I really like it and if you don't mind, would like to build it sometime shortly money permitting

I really do like this a lot. It ties in with the rest of them so well I was thinking about the solidarity of the connection of the side panels as someone pointed out... You used technic bricks, which is fine (and quite apparent), but what about using these instead? http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=10247 ( ) I think it literally makes it a perfect designed ship that could very easily be sold by TLG. Now design me a Tie Bomber :P

Original source said it was a Tie... Didn't specify which variant, and I'm not getting any response on which variant it is from said source either :P Would be awesome if it was standard Tie, and they released a Tie Bomber system scale set. That'd be me in heaven. -

Maybe Disney asked TLG to put a slight bit more emphasis on getting such things a bit more closer to source material, even iI iI means new moulds...? who knows :s -

I actually like the cantina and think they did pretty well with it at the price they have it at too. But Palps arrest... Other than the lil ship which is still mediocre I agree with you on that -
List of Star Wars sets that are retiring!
Fuppylodders replied to Something_Awesome's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I suppose having not really heard of the McQuarrie Z-95 or known of it until mention of it along with Ep 7, I have been quite happy accepting the 'later' Z-95 as the Z-95.. I guess that's what I get for hiding away from SW concept history... -

It's not a straight up Z95 http://comicbook.com/blog/2014/07/21/lucasfilm-confirms-x-wing-fighter-and-not-z-95-headhunter-in-sta/ . I was referring to the later version of the Z95, that is accepted as the final version, not the concept version. Either way, it is now named as an X-Wing and looks like a mix between the later version of the Z95, and the OT X-Wing... so a hybrid. -

I cant imagine there would be another x wing so soon after being discontinued, not to mention it seems to have gone on longer than anything else from the wave it originally was released with. I think the ep 7 variant isnt exactly an x wing but a hybrid of the z95/x-wing so expect something not intending to be authentic to an OT x-wing. So id say stack up on them if you want to... Im only sorry to see jek14's starfighter go as that was a really good ship/build with some good minifigs too. The at-te imo isn't as good as the 7675 version so no real biggy there... But yes, surprised to see the vulture droid go. While seeming a bit bulky for what it is supposed to represent, in itself its not a bad little set. -
I MUST get at least 1 cantina now that I've seen this :o Truly amazingly done! I literally want to copy that.
