  1. Hello everyone, I am very pleased to present my latest reviewing adventure on this exciting and brand new traditional LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 17 which will be available worldwide in May 2017. This new LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series (CMFs) is the seventeenth in this traditional series where unique minifigures' designs across various realms will appear to entice and wow LEGO fans around the world with their lovely charms. Before I commence with this long-winded pictorial review, I would like to give my sincere thanks to The LEGO Group (TLG) which include the LEGO CEE and LEGO Collectable Minifigures Design Team. I have also tried to reduce the amount of images in this review as well, not withstanding other communities like Brickset and The Brothers Brick reviewing them earlier and faster than I do. If you find this review unnecessary, please feel free to leave your parting thoughts. Looking back seven years ago, I can't believe I have completed 23 exhaustive LEGO pictorial reviews including this current review, solely for the coverage of the LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series / LEGO Minifigures Theme throughout the past seven years. Thank you to all the special people around me for supporting in my reviewing endeavor in this LEGO CMFs journey and I still need your motivation to keep me focused in the future. Following Eurobricks tradition for all of the past Collectable Minifigures polls once more, it started with a humble beginning of Series 1 followed by Series 2 in the year 2010 and it continue to spread like wildfire with another three strong waves of minifigures craze in the year 2011, putting Series 3, Series 4 and Series 5 in an excellent harvesting year. In the year 2012, we celebrated with Series 6, Series 7 and recent Series 8. With the year 2013, we have the Series 9, Series 10 and Series 11. In the year 2014, we seen the LEGO Movie Series, The first LEGO Simpsons Series and Series 12. In the year 2015, we had the Series 13, LEGO Simpsons Series 2 and Series 14. In the year 2016, we seen the Series 15, LEGO Disney Series 1 and Series 16. Right now in the year 2017, we have the LEGO Batman Movie Series and the next poll which I would like to invite the Eurobricks Community to cast their votes is for this new LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 17 poll statistics as well. It resembles closely with the 8805 Series 5 and 71005 Simpsons Series 1 colour schema and I concluded the Series 5 and Series 17 are the closest match. I noticed the design team have begun to rehash some of the previous CMFs theme colours and I am not exactly sure if there are any special meaning to their choice of colour schema for the intended series. It will be interesting to find out if I have this opportunity. [Reference 1] [Reference 2] [Reference 3] [Reference 4] What could possibly lurk within these mysterious sealed packets? The excitement continued in LEGO Minifigures in this brand new traditional Series 17 (updated) The LEGO Collectable Minifigures (CMFs) Series 17 is scheduled for worldwide release on 1st May 2017. This new Series 17 reminisce the great CMFs tradition which filled with many unexpected wacky original designs. Such wonderful designs excite me greatly and I am glad to see the return of the true original traditional design of LEGO CMFs. I am always a huge fan of the regular LEGO CMFs design unlike specialised licensed minifigures. It's not as if specialised licensed minifigures are no good, but I always find such licensed designs strife the creativity from an existing known design. Despite of the many recent licensed releases or specialised CMFs theme, I am actually very pleased that the LEGO CMFs Design Team are able to continue to surprise us with many awesome minifigures. This Series 17 is equally capable of standing based on its own merit and able to integrate with past releases of LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series, which is an very important factor to me. I can't gaze upon the crystal ball and determine the future of the LEGO Minifigures Theme as we wildly speculate. I hold very high regards for the LEGO CMFs Design Team and I strongly believe they will continue to surprise us in many endless possibilities in the coming future. This LEGO CMFs Series 17 also utilise an unique promotional feature for the sixteenth mysterious silhouette minifigure and I hope to share more relevant information when the embargo is lifted. Meanwhile, please do not pay attention to my mysterious placeholder minifigure for this secret character. All will be revealed by TLG in due course upon official release of the LEGO CMFs Series 17 next month. IMPORTANT: Please note that the naming for all 16 minifigures, where applicable, that I have use for this review are official TLG minifigures naming for the LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 17. Front view comparison with Series 17 and together with all available LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 1 to 16, LEGO Movie, Simpsons 1 and 2, Disney Series 1 and LEGO Team GB packets, DFB Series and Batman Movie Series I have placed all 24 different minifigures packets including the LEGO Team GB and the LEGO DFB Football packets as part of my overall comparison. From the above aerial image, you can see an impressive transformation of LEGO CMFs Series 1 to the recent LEGO Disney Series, Series 16, LEGO Batman Movie Series and now to the current LEGO CMFs Series 17. It is so wonderful to be able to see the entire range of CMFs assorted designs at one glance. The LEGO Minifigures Theme continued and remained as a very strong contender in the TLG product range since 2010 with a total of 24 different releases including regional exclusives. Many other toy companies are not easy to replicate the success which TLG had created with such a strong followers of CMFs fans. Take a closer look at the following images. This is the front view of the LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 17 packet, while this shows the back view of it. This is an image that shows the back view comparison for all of these packets. Simple reminder to all of my regular CMFs readers. If you are intending to collect the precious and hard-to-find minifigures, hone your skills for the touch and feel method. This is an important skill set in order to locate the minifigures that you want without spending too much money by randomly acquire them, especially so when you are intending to buy large quantities. Your sole mission is to memorise and remember the minifigures assortments for each of the specialised designs. Isolate and identify the most unique accessory or accessories for the particular minifigure. From there, eliminate the torso, head and legs and feel for the other parts. The sole disadvantage of this method is that much time would be wasted if the minifigures that you are looking for have been taken from the box. You might also end up with sore numb thumbs after feeling them. Front view of the LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 17 promotional poster Back view of the LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 17 promotional poster As you flip to the back of the promotional poster, you will notice a set of simple instructions to guide those who are not familiar with the fixing of minifigures' accessories built and cape placement. These are some form of basic instructions to guide our very young builders who may not be too familiar with these building parts. The simple illustration is to ensure those minifigures are fixed correctly. The game of 'Who Stole My Corn' somehow remind me of the 'Who Stole My Pants' in the earlier LEGO Movie feature. I wonder if this is an interactive game for the younger audience. 1) Professional Surfer Without further ado, let's bring out the first minifigure design from the Series 17. This is the third LEGO surfer which we have seen from the LEGO CMFs series and previous designs were from Series 2 and Series 4. I am surprised to see a Surfer variant as we had seen the previous male and female designs earlier. However, this design appear that he can take on those strong waves at the beach accompanied with some dangerous stunts. Parts assortment The parts assortment are average. The minifigure is generally well designed with the new wet suit and supposedly new wavy hairpiece. Not exactly sure if this is the new Luke Skywalker hairpiece but it certainly appear to me in this manner. The designers have also done a good job by creating more different LEGO surfboard designs to increase the varieties. The shark print on the surfboard is rather nicely done. You can view more of the details from the all rounded view inclusive of side and back view. Surf Paradise Surf's Up Relaxation at the sandy beach What do you think of my sharky surfboard? 2) Circus Strong Man Finally, we have a new circus item in town and he is the Circus Strong Man who could perform strong weight lifting act with 100 lbs (assumption on my part for the unit of measure) on each bell. This unexpected new addition help to create more performance act among the unofficial LEGO Circus Troupe or even include him in 10244 Fairground Mixer as additional performance. Apart from using him for circus performance, you can probably also use him for jungle or prehistoric characters. Parts assortment The parts assortment are average, with the exception of the new mold featuring the dumbbell with numerical printing on it. I think this is a far better looking accessory than a brick built dumbbell. You can view more of the details from the all rounded view inclusive of side and back view. Upon removing the mustache, this is the original facial appearance with his confident smirk. The Circus Troupe is expanding Ain't going to break any sweat Jungle Warriors 3) Gourmet Chef The next character in line is the Gourmet Chef. She make a fine worthy entrant into the LEGO City setting. Her culinary and baking skills set her apart from other average City Chefs in LEGO Town. I am glad to see such a dedicated and committed chef, probably specialised in making sweet deserts with her bright sweet smile. Parts assortment The parts assortment are slightly above average, especially with the inclusion of the newly design chef headpiece with her neatly groomed hair at the side, baking mixer and a new design variant of the pie with strawberry toppings on it. You can view more of the details from the all rounded view inclusive of side and back view. She is also the only minifigure with an alternate facial expression in this series. Want to try my pie? Master Chef Competition Go ahead and sample my strawberry pie 4) Corn Cob Man The next character which we are seeing is the latest entrant on the food costume character featuring the Corn Cob Man. His love for corn clearly take him to suit up as the Corn Ambassador to promote the nutritional values which it contain. It's certainly very entertaining to see more of such new food costume characters, as previously seen from the earlier two designs. I suppose is getting more apparent that the designers are starting to deviate away from the traditional animal mascot costumes and focusing more of other costume themes such as food which we can related easily regardless of cultural diversity. Parts assortment The parts assortment are nil but the overall built is focusing the corn cob design being donned on a minifigure. On that approach, the design was very well established even though I was secretly hoping for a miniature corn cob held by the minifigure. The torso is plain green and the bushy mustache is rather comical too. You can view more of the details from the all rounded view inclusive of side and back view. Latest Food Costume addition Corn Cob Man visiting New York City Typical day in the farm Corn Harvest 5) Veterinarian The new Veterinarian is the first of its kind profession to be introduced into LEGO City and is one of the City minifigures which I look forward greatly. The introduction of the Veterinarian is highly desired as we have never seen this profession appearing in LEGO system sets and this occupation show the emphasis of animal caring which certainly show an affectionate side of it. You need lots of love for the animals in order to be in this profession. I am very pleased that we are getting this occupation instead of re-hashing those other occupations which are commonly available in regular LEGO sets such as Policeman, Firefighter and Construction Worker. Parts assortment The parts assortment are above average especially with the new rabbit design which is very fitting for LEGO minifigures environment. The design is very well put together and many fine details such as her working ID badge with an animal paw in there and the clean protective surgical outfit with clean gloves. The nougat hairpiece is a brand new design and is very beautifully done which I enjoyed modding it around with other female minifigures. You can view more of the details from the all rounded view inclusive of side and back view. Medical Professionals and Specialists Let's take a look at the condition of the rabbit Let your hair down 6) Sausage Man The Sausage Man or literally the server working in a Hot Dog restaurant outlet, is simply very highly desired. He can be equipped and modified into a mega fast food chain working at the counter. His dashing smile accompanied with the smiley pin at the apron are some of the design plus pointers for me. His uniform does not have to restrict in a particular eatery and that's the beautiful thing of making him as part of food and beverage (F&B) eco-system. Parts assortment The parts assortment are excellent. Simply amazing is how I could describe it from the City vantage point. You can scored a hot dog bun, accompanied with a wiener that can click together. This is one of the welcoming new accessory which we have first seen in LEGO Friends set last year and I am glad this had made it to the LEGO CMFs setting. The white soft drink is also very good in any serving F&B outlet. The navy blue serving tray is very beautiful and versatile which I happen to use it for medieval castle shield. There is a quick illustration as you scroll down. You can view more of the details from the all rounded view inclusive of side and back view. F&B industry professions Enjoy your meal, Mr Marshmallow Man Sir, Hot Dog for one? Welcome, and have a nice day! Hot Dog Hot Dog, come get your Hot Dog New medieval shields issuance 7) Butterflies Girl The Butterflies Girl will surely be an instant hit among many others due to a certain attractiveness and adorableness it reside. This will also be very popular among children as it somehow able to associate their fantasy childhood costume play which somehow lead me think this is the beginning of the children costume characters, as evident in the latter minifigure, Rocket Boy which will be showing it later. The sparkles and the amount of pink is very well designed with good balance of everything. Of course, this is made evidently possible due to the new fairy wings. Parts assortment The parts assortment are very good. You get a brand new fairy wings which span quite greatly than the old fairy wing in the earlier CMFs which they did not recycle. The overall design with the butterflies and flowers all over the body is just well decorated which I find it very nice, including the additional pink flower bunch. I am very fond of this character design very much and will serve to be a good gift for any young girl who aspire to be a magical fairy with loads of butterflies. You can view more of the details from the all rounded view inclusive of side and back view. I would like to grant you a wish Children Carnival Grandparents outing 8) Roman Gladiator The Roman Gladiator has made another return and he will be competing in the Colosseum with the hope to regain his freedom one day and this will increase the variant of Gladiators in the LEGO CMFs setting. This opportunity can be quite positive but it did not come across in such a manner. I find this design not as appealing as the rest of the minifigures in this series. It does not appear strongly to me that he was a Roman Gladiator and the choice of the merfork was recycled into this character. It could be better if they include an additional accessory like a shield or even a net to cast upon their opponent. Parts assortment The parts assortment are below average and like what I mentioned above, it will be better if they have an additional accessory to accompany him. The outfit did not strike me as a Gladiator and I thought he was some native warrior or something else. His design does not fit as the iconic gladiator which you hope for. Not sure of what you guys think but this is one of the weakest link for me. You can view more of the details from the all rounded view inclusive of side and back view and the saving grace was his detailed lion side printing at one of the shoulder. Fight to your death Protect the Emperor from these rebels May I join your tribe? 9) Connoisseur The Connoisseur is simply a very good design which took it from an artistic approach in a French context. He can be a person who has a great deal of knowledge about fine arts, cuisine and wines. He can make a good representation with the rest of the artistic minifigures which we encounter in the earlier series. Based on the accessories he hold, I can't really point the specialised area which he is good at. Hopefully the official bio of him could shed some interesting information on his background. Parts assortment The parts assortment are very good. You get a new LEGO puppy design which I think is a bulldog and a highly uncommon food accessory of the baguette and this is something which you don't mind loads of it for feeding your minifigures' population. The white stripes accompanied with the black beret somehow made me infer he is an artist. This is one of the minifigure which I am fond in this series. You can view more of the details from the all rounded view inclusive of side and back view. Artistic People Bonjour Secret Pet Agents 10) Battle Dwarf The Battle Dwarf is a new character to add into the Dwarves Mountain which is part of the medieval setting. I was originally hoping for a much different version of a dwarf with more armour and punch instead of just making it simply barbaric. This design does increase the different variant of the existing dwarves which were previously released and it will make a fine addition to them. However, I don't think they could be any use for an organised army. Parts assortment The parts assortment are average and I love how they manage to cast a new colour onto Thor's supposedly hammer with gunmetal finishing. The rest of the accessories are pretty standard and common which I don't have much personal fancy including the single axe. You can view more of the details from the all rounded view inclusive of side and back view especially the side printing of his black tattoo. It can be useful to create a barbaric warrior by removing the short leg and change it around to reflect its chaotic nature. Mountain Dwarves Banish these foul beasts I would like to upgrade my hammer Enemies of Asgard Would you like to join our journey? 11) Retro Spaceman It's a blast from the past when I see this 1960s or 1970s Retro Spaceman. It did not said if is a villain but just merely reflecting as a Spaceman which does appear to be quite scheming on the surface. Space fans shall rejoce and I am assuming Adult Fans of LEGO who are very much into Space Theme and this character is those where you can find in those comic books. Parts assortment The parts assortment are above average. You get a brand new amazing ray gun design in retro style, accompanied with those geeky old fashioned space suit and yellow cape. I think it's quite nice to see the designer paying homage to something rather retro which millennials might not be able to appreciate. You can view more of the details from the all rounded view inclusive of side and back view. Let me check your intergalactic identity card My blaster for yours Are you good in this arcade game? Mechanical robots inspection 12) Yuppie I seriously do not know what is a Yuppie is, until I went to Google and search for the meaning and this is what I have got, a fashionable young middle-class person with a well-paid job, obsessed with material objects and financial success. At first glance, I thought he was some cartel boss in his stylish outfit. I was so mistaken and yes he does somehow fit in the 1980s or 1990s setting especially with the mega satellite equivalent mobile phone. Well, I think I will continue to keep him in such a stereotype manner. What do you guys think of him? Parts assortment The parts assortment are average. However, I like those new printed parts on the 1x1 flat tile featuring a speaker while the 1x1 cheeseslope featuring a number pad. When you add those parts together onto a walkie-talkie, you get a big flashy mobile phone typically seen in the 1980s and 1990s. The appearance is very sleek especially with the aviators sunglass. You can view more of the details from the all rounded view inclusive of side and back view. Telecommunication Devices Get ready for the next heist Could you assist in our investigation? 13) Rocket Boy Classic Space fans rejoice! Everything starts from a young age and the love for Classic Space must set at a significantly much younger age. The Rocket Boy is the latest children costumed character which the outfit showed the child to dream big and achieve beyond their wildest dream. This Rocket Boy is extremely adorable and the Rocket Suit outfit is real fitting for a child and without the child inside, it's actually like a small scale rocket ready to launch or it can be placed in some exhibit for the Science Museum. Parts assortment The parts assortment are excellent. The biggest unexpected bonus is the Classic Space torso on the minifigure. TLG could simply give you a plain torso but instead, they sweeten the entire appeal of this minifigure and made it even better than I thought. The handrawn coloured depiction of the Classic Space flag is very nicely done with lots of originality in it. The Rocket Suit is equally astounding and amazing too. I love this minifigure very much and it served as a huge inspiration for any child to dream and venture into the unknown deep space. You can view more of the details from the all rounded view inclusive of side and back view. Dream big and dream far A visit to Classic Space Headquarters Children Costume Characters E.T call home 14) Dance Instructor This minifigure in line will add in your LEGO City with this hyper energetic Dance Instructor. I believed with a good work out and plentiful of water hydration is the key to keep fit and healthy based on her jovial expression. I suppose her ballistic explosive hairstyle is also a rendition of the classic 1970s and 1980s style where mass workouts in the fitness studios are very popular. What do you think of it? Could you like her bizarre attire? Even though I am not a huge fan of this design but this design is certainly quite special in his own rights. Parts assortment The parts assortment are average. The H2O drink which simply refer to as water, accompanied with a bottle cap and straw on top of it. The parts are nicely done together and the striking accessory is certainly the Dance Instructor's hairpiece which is just so iconic to her active lifestyle in that particular era. You can view more of the details from the all rounded view inclusive of side and back view. Dancing classes Join the Dance Club Batman Dance Rave 15) Elf Girl The Elf Girl is my favourite character in this series and is the only probable army building minifigure which I want to amass from this whole series. My love for Elves are very strong since the introduction of Series 3 Elf and we have not seen a warrior Elf in recent years. This new female counterpart of the Elven Forest proved its mettle and intellect combined. I love how this design put across her mysterious and yet elegant Elvish appearance which can be used in Royal Princess approach or maiden, etc. It's a very good medieval design which I am very fond of. Although some of us might not like the tall skirt torso, but personally I am fine with this setting as it bring the beauty of the torso/dress altogether. Parts assortment The parts assortment are above average. The overall accessories including the re-introduction of the kite shield with the new print and the great sword in pearl gold. The dress is very nice and if you able to look at it carefully, there is some sort of mystical glow and aura surrounding this minifigure. Not sure how I should describe it but the print finishing is very lovely and I believed the appropriate description could be shimmering. You can view more of the details from the all rounded view inclusive of side and back view. Elvish Bloodline Elf Princesses Friends of the Forest Realm Princesses and Maidens We seek the mystical elves for assistance 16) Secret Character Sorry everyone. I can't reveal other than imagine how this silhouette promotional minifigure could look like in my review and how I interpret based on the promotional poster as well. I will update this portion of number 16 review once the green light is given by TLG. Meanwhile, I have already prepared the images for this mysterious feature which will conicde with their marketing and promotional efforts upon official release. The good news, is this minifigure have the maximum distribution count, so technically it should not be that hard to find. Stay tune for future update and I will share more in the next round. Thank you for your understanding. Allow me to formally introduce the secret elusive character, the 16th character in this Series 17 and is none other than Highway Man. Oh well, it is hardly any surprise anymore and we have now received the official green light to share those reviewing images of this supposed silhouette promotional minifigure. To be honest, we have not received any official promotional info on what they intend to do with this minifigure. TLG had actually done a great job to keep this under wrap and lots of efforts were made. It was a great pity that some retail blunder was caused to make this whole promotion, rather disappointing. As I have mentioned in this review, this minifigure is the most commonly available minifigure in this series. This Highway Man is pretty impressive and it can be used in many other settings like the Civil War, Wild West, Pirates, etc. The customisation for this design is endless and is largely attributed to the black western facade. All the way from the menacing mysterious shrouding appearance, there are some strange aura surrounding this character. I am not exactly sure if the promotional efforts had somehow clouded my expectations. To be serious, I find this minifigure slightly above average. It's quite a surprise that TLG had actually made a villain stereotype for this design and for a short past moment, I was secretly hoping it was something related to Pirates of the Caribbean due to the tricorne hat. Parts assortment The parts assortment are above average. The overall accessories are good especially the new black fabric cap material. The dual flintlock pistols are coated in gunmetal grey and the design also include the bandanna and tricorne hat. You can view more of the details from the all rounded view inclusive of side and back view. It's very hard to predict but my best bets are Elf Girl, Rocket Boy, Butterflies Girl and Veterinarian. These mentioned minifigures are in my guess-list of hard to find in the wild. Perhaps, Corn Cob might fit the bill as well. I am disappointed that the above minifigures are not given the higher distribution ratio of four and above. I highly speculate that female minifigures in distribution ratio of three will prove quite a challenge and personally for medieval fan like myself, I think getting more quantities of Elf Girl would be challenging which remind me of the Forest Maiden in Series 9. The food costume character distribution count is rather encouraging and the Corn Cob is given a higher quantity of distribution ratio of five, similar to the elusive promotional secretive character which may serve to be popular among certain group of fans such as Pirates. Ultimately, I am pretty pleased with this current distribution arrangement. What do you think of it? Do you like the overall distribution count? To conclude, based on the probability demonstrated by this review, as an example, here are the summarised results,High probability1) Circus Strong Men2) Corn Cobs3) Secret CharactersTotal range: 25%Each: 8.33%Medium probability1) Sausage Men2) Roman Gladiators3) Connoisseurs4) Battle Dwarves5) Retro Spacemen6) YuppiesTotal range: 40%Each: 6.67%Low probability1) Professional Surfers2) Gourmet Chefs3) Veterinarians4) Butterflies Girls5) Rocket Boys6) Dance Instructors7) Elf GirlsTotal range: 35%Each 5% The LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 17 will be launching on the 1st May 2017 (worldwide) (updated) To conclude, the LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 17 has continued successfully surprised us with another new level of design creativity. It excite me to see the return of the original traditional series. Traditional LEGO CMFs series always appeal widely to the masses. One thing for certain is TLG is not really intending to just focus on the traditional stuff. There are clear signs in the shift in their marketing and design approach. Not exactly sure if is a good sign or bad omen, but only time will tell if the change in the LEGO CMFs could sustain and continue to appeal to general public and LEGO fans. It is not an easy challenge to create, design and introduce many new creative and original designs for each new series. The LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series or known as LEGO Minifigures Theme shall always be a rare commanding class of their own, which distinguish themselves from regular LEGO Theme and special releases. It has been a very long standing tradition and yet they are able to retain the charm and excitement, until today. Now with a total of 359 minifigures released for the entire Series 1 to 16, the LEGO Movie Series, LEGO Simpsons Series 1 to 2, Disney LEGO Minifigures, LEGO Batman Movie series and the current Series 17, not including Mr. Gold which unfortunately I do not have the blessings or lucky stars to own it till this date, and the special exclusive Toy Soldier and Zombie Skateboarder minifigures that can only be obtained through The Minifigures Character Encyclopedia books respectively. At such tremendous accelerated releasing rates, I wonder if you can keep up with the display shelving area as we factor to accommodate space for future expansion. For myself, I don't have the space to display all of them anymore until much further notice. Meanwhile, I really wonder what exciting new series will TLG have for us. Only time will tell and let's be patient about it. I am confident that it will be worth the wait as always. Please note that all opinions and content shown in this Eurobricks pictorial review is from 'WhiteFang' and is not meant to represent LEGO official views. It is purely stated to share as a vantage point of a reviewer. Please note that the The LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 16 do not contain the placement of LEGO spare parts/accessories. This was practiced since the start of LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 3. Summary review Playability: 9/10 (New and old minifigure designs that can be integrated across many new and existing themes/settings.)Design: 8/10 (Great detailed printing on different arms and legs with decent new accessories and refreshing designs.) Price: 6/10 (Pricing notch went down for my case due to the increase of SRP from SGD$5.50 to SGD$6.50 and this is likely to be the official pricing.)Overall: 7.6/10 (Ready yourself for this new traditional Series 17 and it's quite an uncommon sight to see a traditional series around after so many releases.) I gave it a "4" based on my Review Score Card. What about yours? I hope everyone of you enjoyed reading this simple review of mine. Comments and Criticisms are welcomed. 2. Sure, I can add that fourth option, if applicable in the future. Thanks. Yes, is very fun and engaging to be collecting colourful Batman variants. It's enjoyable and refreshing indeed. At first, I thought it might ruin the original appeal of Batman but I guess it was pretty successful.
  3. Somehow, I just missed those canoes. It didn't occur to me or perhaps I didn't even paying much attention to it. Yes, do share with us on the next set review soon.
  4. Thank you for doing this fine review. You have convinced me to acquire this set very recently. In fact, I didn't pay much attention to this set, until I have read your review closely and found some nice hidden gems including useful printed parts and the olive classic canoes. The minifigures are some plus points but getting this set is also paying close liking to previous Destiny Bounty(s). Keep up the great reviews and appreciate your time to do these for our EB community.
  5. Nice! You have managed to achieve a full pagoda and the effect is completely awesome. I didn't expect you can BL these parts in order to fill those gaps completely. Well played indeed.

  7. This is certainly a very nice ruin MOC with quite an complex built on the arch. Love those rocky appearance.
  8. Superb pictures. I like this comprehensive review and you ought to save it for the grading. This could be a really nice grading for me to drool. I own this minifigures' pack and it is definitely one of my favourite in 1999. The minifigures are excellent with generic soldiers with a good mixture between ninja and samurai. Very nice indeed and if I could turn-back time, this is certainly some of the packs which I love to pick up the most. I should find an opportunity to re-arrange my classic Ninja collection.
  9. EB Staff Decision is final and we do not discuss such private and confidential matters in public. As of other matters pertaining to him, such discussions are also make through EB Staff in a staff-in-confidence fashion. Thank you. Topic locked. WhiteFang

  13. Congrats once more! You have certainly picked a very odd set to begin with. Do you know that is actually my least favourite set in the LEGO Batman Movie? I was actually quite impressed with the way you present the flow of this review and demonstrate how it can pose in various styles. He did remind me of poo face and that's the reason why I am hesitant to acquire it, plus there is only the Mayor minifigure in there. I might get it up if the price is heavily discounted. At this stage, I am still looking for other sets, but your review certainly made me pay much attention to this set instead of completely ignoring it. That's how good I like this review.
  14. Our Eurobricks Knight, makoy has recently passed from the Reviewers Academy with his new shiny bronze badge. His bronze review is one of the latest LEGO Batman Movie set featuring the 70904 Clayface Splat Attack. Do check out what are his thoughts towards the overall built. Who knows, you may also like this set as much as he do? Click here to view the 70904 Clayface Splat Attack review in the Eurobricks Licensed Forum.
  15. Just enjoy and watch the movie. All heart burning questions shall be answered with plot twist. I urge all who have watched this movie, not to share any movie spoilers that are not shown in the trailers. I have watched and there are some things which I didn't expect. So please be considerate and use spoilers tag. Thank you.
  16. After just finished watching the movie, I just enjoyed this entire Batman CMFs series even more than ever before. I could certainly love to see the rest of the elusive Batman villains. Pretty exciting and a true enjoyment for AFOLs to treat yourself with the movie and this CMFs together.
  17. Hello Elleana, As a fellow Singaporean, I am pleased to welcome you to attend the Eurobricks Event 2017. You could be the second Singaporean to ever attend an Eurobricks Event. I attended in 2014 and it was smashing awesome. I am glad the interest is strong and making efforts for you to attend. Real awesome indeed. Have lots of fun and I promise you will enjoy their good company. I am sure Boney and Holodoc will be very hospitable too. Fangy On a side note, we are unable to make it too.
  18. I used to keep them and I really kept those empty boxes. I start to store, stack and combine them together. Well, it come to a point that my free available space is running out and I only keeping those very nice box-art sets, more towards the larger sets. I don't flatten them. It's a choice of keeping the boxes as it is or I make a decision and throw it away.
  19. Real nice built. I am a fan of classic Ninja especially 3053 and 6093. Those sets are the ones which I haven't laid my hands on. Your design reflect the classic theme with lots of modern touch and advanced techniques such as the wall scaling. When I first saw this, I was very impressed on how you able to capture and retain the iconic details such as the overall colour scheme and the two towers at both ends.
  20. Nicely done! It's great to see an Indiana Jones MOC after so long. I particularly like the way you structure your entrance and the tiling position. I am sure Indy is supposed to be holding an Idol down there. Thanks for sharing.
  21. Thank you everyone for your thought! Glad you have enjoyed reading it. Well, I suppose the whole point of getting it is because it's part of the collection. Nonethless, I see your point of the clown kind of being rehash, but then I felt the colours are quite fitting for what a clown supposed to be. I am just quite disappointed with its lack of accessory for Tears of Batman. I didn't notice until you have pointed it out. Thanks. We will never know. It might or it might not. Rather to wait for it to appear in stores later, why not just get one polybag first and get more if it ever appears in the wild and get it separately.
  22. Yes, these are certainly not to be missed especially if you are LEGO Batman fan. Please read in the review as I have mentioned it was part of my purchase in Singapore. There is also a similar promotion for US Shop@Home as well in Feb 17. Yes, it is certainly one of the best promotional giveaway with your purchase. I am sure this polybag will be an instant hit.
