WhiteFang replied to WhiteFang's topic in LEGO Licensed
Thanks guys for your thoughtful comments. I have also updated four images, which are the Minifigure promotional poster leaflet (front & back) and Minifigure packet (front & back). I will replace it again with my watermark later on. Meanwhile, these are the better scanned version for greater clarity. -

Thank you so much guys for your comments and thoughts! Ohh, now I see it. I did not invert it, even while I was messing around with the Calculator. That is so funny and nice to include such fine details. Thanks! I am glad you love the funny illustrations. Nope, I don't recall there are any rubbery pieces in the review, other than the mentioned Mime's hairpiece. Three cheers for the next Series 17 minifigure. I am happy to note that the next one it is going to be a traditional series. Yes yes! I noticed it now. I don't think it will be a huge issue for displaying them outside. It can be challenging, but I think it is achievable. Just have to do some trial and error on it. -

One thing, which really annoyed me the most and for all members to comply. Do not type your comments in chat style manner. Do ensure proper capitalisation of sentences. Don't start your sentences in small caps all the way without punctuation. As what they have pointed out, the Site Guidelines is your best friend to follow.

Well, soccer is a big thing in Singapore and there are many soccer fans who follow EPL, UEFA and World Cup. Just that, I am not a huge soccer fan. Thank you @Robert8. I enjoyed associating these new parts and agreed with your input on the headpiece and hairpiece appeal. It's certainly a nice series indeed. -

@MKJoshA I have improved the review with input for individual minifigures' hairpieces accordingly. I hope you find the extra information useful and relevant. I am pretty pleased the extensive usage of specialised licensed hairpieces and some of the colours are exclusive to these minifigures. -

Thanks MKJoshA. I agree that it should be marketed out of the exclusive regional zone. On top of that, I think you have give me a good idea and I thought it wasn't useful information. Give me abit of time and I will add those information and thoughts on the new hairpieces. I think is a good idea to include it. Thanks! It was an imaginary typo. I have corrected it in the review. -

Hello everyone, I am very pleased to present my latest reviewing adventure on this highly anticipated brand new LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series - LEGO Batman Movie which will be available in January 2017. This new LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series (CMFs) is to commemorate the upcoming new LEGO Batman movie in February 2017 and this is the movie trailer in case you miss it. Building on the huge unprecedented success of the LEGO Movie accompanied with their own LEGO Minifigures Series in 2014, TLG had managed to create their unique media channel through marketing LEGO products in movies. In this case, this collaboration was made possible with the DC Comics license which will feature a wide array of Batman villains combating against Batman and his mighty sidekick. The plot is still kept away and this review will not contain any movie spoilers. Before I begin with this detailed lengthy pictorial review, I would like to give my sincere thanks to The LEGO Group (TLG) which include the LEGO CEE and LEGO Collectable Minifigures Design Team. As a professional Reviewer, this golden opportunity is indeed a great honour and I am exceptionally thankful for the support that you guys have rendered. Till this date, I have completed 22 exhaustive LEGO Pictorial reviews including this current review, solely for the coverage of the LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series / LEGO Minifigures Theme throughout the past six years plus. I would like to thank to the special people around me. You know who you are, for making this review possible! I am truly elated that I am able to able to continue to share this very special reviewing achievement with all of you. Hope I have not disappointed anyone in this review, if so, I offer my humble apologies and I really hope I can continue to meet your expectations for this reviewing coverage. Following Eurobricks tradition, let's do a formal re-cap for all of the past Eurobricks Collectable Minifigures polls once more. It started with a humble beginning of Series 1followed by Series 2 in the year 2010 and it continue to spread like wildfire with another three strong waves of minifigures craze in the year 2011, putting Series 3, Series 4 andSeries 5 in an excellent harvesting year. In the year 2012, we celebrated with Series 6, Series 7 and recent Series 8. With the beginning of year 2013, we have the recentSeries 9, Series 10 and Series 11. In 2014, we have seen the LEGO Movie Series, The first LEGO Simpsons Series and Series 12. In 2015, we have the Series 13, LEGO Simpsons Series 2 and Series 14. In the beginning of 2016, we have the Series 15, LEGO Disney Series 1 and Series 16 and now for the upcoming 2017, I would like to invite the Eurobricks Community to cast their votes for this new LEGO Minifigures - LEGO Batman Movie Series poll statistics as well. Name: 71017 LEGO Batman Movie Series Theme: LEGO System / Collectable Minifigures / The LEGO Batman Movie Year: 2017 Minifigs: 20 unique minifigures Price for 1 box: USD N.A, GBP N.A, EURO N.A, SGD $474.00 (to-be-confirmed) Price for 1 packet: USD N.A, GBP N.A, EURO N.A, SGD $7.90 (to-be-confirmed) Resources: Brickset, BrickLink An image of an 71017 LEGO Batman Movie Series The LEGO Minifigures - Batman Movie Series main colour schema is based on Gotham City with an iconic LEGO movie flavour on it. This is the second LEGO movie and it is also the second movie series in the LEGO Minifigures theme which can be found here. [Reference 1] [Reference 2] [Reference 3] [Reference 4] What could possibly lurk within these mysterious sealed packets? The minifigures excitement continued in LEGO Batman Movie in this incredible new series The LEGO Minifigures- Batman Movie Series is scheduled for worldwide release on 1st January 2017. This is an exciting new concept for TLG to venture into a combination of LEGO movie and Licensed minifigures altogether. I am very pleased that this has been incorporated into DC Comic license and is specially packaged for the one-off release of 20 minifigures for a complete set. This has never happened before and the last we saw with great numbers, was the 18 LEGO Licensed Minifigures from the earlier Disney Series. In this LEGO Minifigures - Batman Movie Series, there are 20 minifigures altogether and among them, there are 5 assorted wacky Batman design outfits, 4 Batman's allies and 11 Batman's villains including minor roles. To be honest, I was not expected to see many bizarre minifigures design from this series and this is probably the only avenue to ever release such minifigures as stand-alone designs. This is probably one of the rare opportunities where the designers could seize their opportunities to increase the design count and feature smaller and minor characters which are not featured in the new LEGO Batman Movie sets. Furthermore, these minifigures design will be based on flesh-looking skin tone of different variants instead of the traditional yellow minifigures. To my taste-bud, I am more of a huge fan of the regular LEGO CMFs design unlike specialised licensed minifigures like this design theme. It's not as though the specialised licensed minifigures are unappealing, but it's just my personal preference to it where I can have more integration with the regular minifigures. Who knows, perhaps one day, the LEGO Minifigures could expand into Marvel Comics or Star Wars license in the near future. There can be such possibilities. I am impressed with the LEGO CMFs Design Team who have worked closely with the LEGO Batman Movie Design Team to come out with such large numbers of designs which are referenced from the movie. I am curious on how the design team manage to reach the remarkable 20 minifigures total. I am not exactly sure what's in store for the future of the LEGO Minifigures Theme as we wildly speculate. I hold extreme high regards for the LEGO CMFs Design Team and I strongly believe they will continue to surprise us in many endless possibilities in the coming future. IMPORTANT: Please note that the naming for all 20 minifigures that I have use for this review are official TLG minifigures naming for the LEGO Minifigures - LEGO Batman Movie Series. Front view comparison with Batman Movie Series and together with all available LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 1 to 16, LEGO Movie, Simpsons 1 and 2, Disney Series 1 and LEGO Team GB packets and DFB Series I have placed all 23 different minifigures packets including the LEGO Team GB and the recent new LEGO DFB Football packets as part of my overall comparison. From the above aerial image, you can see an impressive transformation of LEGO CMFs Series 1 to the recent LEGO Disney Series and Series 16, and now to the current LEGO Batman Movie Series. It is so wonderful to be able to see all of the assorted designs at one glance. The LEGO Minifigures Theme is a force not to be reckoned with and remain a very strong contender in the TLG product range since 2010. 23 different releases including regional exclusives are not easy to replicate the craze in many LEGO CMFs followers. Take a closer look at the following images. This is the front view of the LEGO Minifigures - LEGO Batman Movie Series packet, while this shows the back view of it. This is an image that shows the back view comparison for all of these packets. To the regular readers of my LEGO CMFs review, you probably notice that this paragraph has been mentioned numerous times, because I personally feel this is the most effective method to acquire the highly sought after minifigures without taking any drastic measures. This is the 'same' golden rule, which has been mentioned in my previous reviews. If you are intending to collect the precious and hard-to-find minifigures, please hone your skills for the touch and feel method. It is an important skill to acquire to locate the minifigures that you want without spending too much money to randomly acquire them, especially so when you are intending to buy large quantities. Your sole mission is to memorise and remember the minifigures assortments for each of the specialised designs. Isolate and identify the most unique accessory or accessories for the particular minifigure. From there, eliminate the torso, head and legs and feel for the other parts. The sole disadvantage of this method is that much time would be wasted if the minifigures that you are looking for have been taken from the box. You might also end up with sore numb thumbs after feeling them. Well, for this series, it could be challenging for some since the Batman headpiece will appear in quite a number of them. Thankfully, the individual accessories are very helpful to identify unlike the mission-impossible from the earlier Deutscher Fußball-Bund (DFB) Football Series. Front view of the LEGO Minifigures - LEGO Batman Movie Series promotional poster Please note there is a printing error in 6) Barbara Gordon, where there is a missing 1x1 printed Batman signal. This accessory does come with the minifigure in the actual packet. Back view of the LEGO Minifigures - LEGO Batman Movie Series promotional poster As you flip to the back of the promotional poster, you will notice a set of simple instructions to guide LEGO fans who are not familiar with the fixing of fabric cloth and minifigure parts correctly. I wonder what is the next minifigures theme in May 2017? I haven't been following news rumors but this silhouette character is kind of mysterious. 1) Lobster-Lovin' Batman Without further ado, let's bring out the first minifigure design from the LEGO Batman Movie Series and is none other than Lobster-Lovin' Batman, and this time he is wearing his first alter-ego lounge suit and enjoying his lobster dish at the same time. This design was seen appearing in the movie trailer where he is chilling in his mansion and interacting with his butler, Alfred. While Batman enjoy the seafood delicacy, he strive to maintain his secrecy by wearing his iconic mask over his face. This is certainly one of the nice minifigures around. Parts assortment The parts assortment are above average. The biggest takeaway is the introduction of the new lobster. I love this new element very much as it increase the LEGO food varieties. The cooked lobster is served on a white printed plate. With a little modification, you can transform him into actual Bruce Wayne in his lounge suit. You can view more of the details from the back view and side view. You can see his real appearance upon removal of his mask. Would you like to have some wine? Lobster Date Don't let it run away 2) Glam Metal Batman As you may have briefly recall Batman aka Will Arnett singing a very dark untitled self portrait music in the 2014 LEGO Movie, then this outfit must have been specially designed for this genre of hardcore metal music to his liking. I noticed this outfit was featured in the movie trailer when Dick Grayson was messing around his various Batman outfits. It is a good blend of his existing Batman costume and added some silver shine on it. Parts assortment The parts assortment are above average. There is a new variant of electric guitar in metallic appearance and the new spiky shoulder blades which can be very useful for medieval customisation. The whole outfit stay close to the original design of Batman and this is one of the nicest Batman variants among them. You can see more of the details from his back view and side view. You can see his real appearance upon removal of his mask. Special guest appearance Join my musical cult New opening appearance in town 3) Fairy Batman The next character which we will be seeing is another alter-ego Batman suit and it's incredibly unbelievably that a stern and dark Batman could actually hide a Fairy Batman suit. Serious imagination has proved me wrong and is definitely possible to see all-black Batman to appear in pinkish outfit. With the ballerina skirt, Tinkerbell's wings and a waving fairy wand, Batman is ready to become your fairy godfather. Our resident Fairy is not lonely anymore. I just cannot imagine that Batman has turned so soft and sweet. Simply adorable. I wonder if this is a practical prank joke for Batman. We will find out in the LEGO Batman Movie on the possible role, this outfit could play in the plot. Parts assortment The parts assortment are slightly above average, especially with the inclusion of the fairy wings, wand and ballerina skirt. This is just like a Batman ready to take ballerina lessons and I can't help it but treating Batman as a joke. You can view more pinky Batman details from the back view and side view. You can see his real appearance upon removal of his mask. Will you join me as a full-time fairy What nightmares are you suffering? What do you want, little one? We can make you famous in Walt Disney 4) Clan of the Cave Batman This is the fourth Batman animated costume suit which I could hardly believe he will wear it to engage their enemy. Behold the Batman from the Stone Age, where the mighty club is the only weapon to attack his enemies like mega dinosaurs. This outfit is very hilarious and if the Caveman Family need an adoring superhero at their era, this could be well represented. Parts assortment The parts assortment are average. The whole Batman outfit is designed for Stone Age era and the colour match very well with the likes of furs and patches for his cape and mask. The club is the same design from the LEGO CMFs Caveman Family. You can see the rest of it in greater detail from the back view and side view. You can see his real appearance upon removal of his mask. You are our superhero Melee combat Your appearance is very ancient Batwing in action 5) Vacation Batman When is the last time you seen the crime fighting vigilante take a vacation holiday, I suspect not. This design is very lovely as it portray a relaxing state of Batman enjoying his swim, accompanied with the batsy rubber-duckie float. Batman loves swimming and diving and his choice of vacation getaway could definitely be in tropical beaches. This is also the last of Batman's wacky alter-ego outfits and is also my favourite character in this series. Parts assortment The parts assortment are above average. The attractive factor is the introduction of the batsy rubber-duckie float. It is adorable and with the mask over the duckie eyes simply add some flavour to it which match very well with Batman's iconic swimwear. I love them very much The Batman hood remain the same, with the addition of goggles eye-wear that make the mold different. The flippers are generally common and can be found in LEGO City most of the time. You can also view more of the minfigure from the back view and side view. You can see his real appearance upon removal of his mask. Taking a dip into the pool Vacation time I am the outstanding fella Diving competition Gift from Batman Shall we take a quick swim? Latest Batman outfits Which outfit should I wear tonight? 6) Barbara Gordon Barbara Gordon is the daughter of Commissioner Gordon and is also the elusive Batgirl. From the movie trailer, Barbara Gordon is supportive of Batman and hope to work with him together to rid of the widespread villains in Gotham City. She is also seen to be fighting together with Batman and Robin and I really wonder at which stage of the movie, when she decide to assume as Batgirl. At the very least, we know she is with the Police Department since she is wearing her police uniform. This character will also be appearing in 70908 The Scuttler and 70912 Arkham Asylum and both appearances are in different outfits. Parts assortment The parts assortment are average. The new 1x1 yellow Batman logo is welcoming as this can be an useful printed accessory to place onto Batman MOCs. The handcuffs are rather repetitive and I sincerely wish there are something else like a police baton, for example. Her police uniform is somewhere similar to this Policeman and it does make a fine combination. You can notice her detailed appearance from the back view and side view. Help us, Batman Gotham City Police Department We have the GCPD as our hostages 7) Commissioner Gordon The next minifigure feature is Commissioner Gordon. James Gordon is the police commissioner of Batman's home of Gotham City. He shares the hero’s deep commitment of ridding the dark and corrupting city of crime. At times, he is skeptical of Batman's vigilante method but recognises the necessity of Batman and the two have a mutual respect and tacit friendship. So far, he has only appeared in the 76001 The Bat vs Bane Tumbler Chase. He is a welcoming and essential ally to Batman and his sole duty is to put those criminals to justice. Parts assortment The parts assortment are pretty good. I am very fond of the newly designed 2x2 'Wanted' Joker information tile. The overall minifigure design is excellent and I like the dark skin tone of Commissioner Gordon in his white short-sleeve over his grey vest and pistol hoist. His police badge is printed at his left leg and his attire appeared to be quite seasoned as well. It also comes with a walkie-talkie. You can take a closer look at his details from the back view and side view. Which Commissioner Gordon do you prefer? Father and Daughter No one can stop us, not even Batman 8) Arkham Asylum Joker The Arkham Asylum Joker, the classic-ever-nemesis constantly battling against Batman. The Joker is a master criminal with a clown-like appearance. Initially portrayed as a violent sociopath who murders people for his own amusement, he also wreak as much havoc as possible upon innocent people in order to claim the mantle of Gotham City's greatest criminal mastermind. The Joker has appeared in 8 different variants from past official sets and this does not include the upcoming 70912 Arkham Asylum. The Joker has appeared 3 times in the iconic orange jumpsuit including this design and the past two breakout from the past 10937 Batman Arkham Asylum Breakout. Parts assortment The parts assortment for Arkham Asylum Joker is below average. The design is very identical to the existing new Joker's design like the savvy green hairpiece which will appear in 2017 sets. The orange jumpsuit design is also very similar to the 70912 Arkham Asylum. I am quite disappointed that it only include a handcuff and the Joker sheepishly appearance is the only appealing factor to me. This design seem like a very poor attempt of recycle the orange jumpsuit torso and it could have been a better opportunity to choose another uncommon variant of The Joker. You can take a moment and examine the details from the back view and side view. I am very fond of his alternate sad facial expression. You are going to Arkham Asylum Nothing can hold me back We have arrested the Joker 9) Dick Grayson Dick Grayson is the first Batman sidekick and assumed the superhero name as Robin. At some point later, he also became Nightwing which I don't think is related to the movie. From the movie trailer, I don't think there is a direct relationship of the original storyline of how Robin entangled himself with Batman in the earlier years. We can only wait till the movie screening to find out more. In this design, Dick Grayson is seen wearing his signature red knit sweater as well as his pair of magnified spectacles. The magnified spectacles is probably inspired by this Monster Scientist. Dick Grayson is also making an appearance in the upcoming LEGO Batman Movie sets which are 70902 Catwoman Catcycle Chase, 70905 The Batmobile and 70912 Arkham Asylum as Robin with his pair of magnified spectacles. He had also previously made an appearance in 76052 Batman Classic TV Series Batcave. Parts assortment The parts assortment for Dick Grayson is average. The minifigure design is pretty nice with his red top and blue bottoms. I also like the suave wavy hairstyle. The magnified spectacles also kind of make him a little studious. He is also holding a shark repellent and I wonder what is it for, and the 1x1 cylindrical cone in dark blue in printed wordings. You can take a moment and examine the details from the back view and side view. Upon removing his hairpiece, you are able to see his real face. Wacky people Can I be your side-kick? Anti-shark repellent This should get rid of pests 10) Pink Power Batgirl The Batgirl is one of Batman's trusted side-kicks and a member of the Batman Family similar to Robin. She patrols Gotham City fighting crime using her mastery of the martial arts, her wits, and an arsenal of high-tech gadgets. The identity of Batgirl is likely to be Barbara Gordon, niece of Commissioner Gordon. In this case, she is on in her pinkish power puff (girl-power) outfit. It looks rather cute though. So far in past releases, Batgirl has appeared once in 76013 The Joker Steam Roller. In the upcoming LEGO Batman Movie sets, Batgirl is also make an appearance in 70902 Catwoman Catcycle Chase and 70906 The Joker Notorious Lowrider. Parts assortment The parts assortment are above average and it include a pink batarang. The overall outfit is simply n her pink attire and cape. The skirt piece was first seen in the Disney Minifigures Series and I am glad this part design was also used in newer minifigure design and judging from her skin and hair colour, I really think this character is indeed Barbara Gordon based on this Minifigures Series. You can see more of the details from the back view and side view. They look very identical Batman and Batgirl Pink Power New skirts design 11) Red Hood Red Hood identity is a mystery and I got no idea of who this Red Hood might be. I meant his real identity. I found out in the original continuity that the Joker was going by the Red Hood alias. His costume consisted of a large dome red helmet and a red cape. While attempting to rob a chemical plant, he was cornered by Batman. Left with no alternatives, he dive into a basin full of chemicals and swam to freedom, surviving because of a special breathing apparatus built into the helmet. The toxins in the vat permanently disfigured him, turning his hair green, his skin white and his lips red. Driven insane by his reflection, he recreated himself as "The Joker" and became Batman's greatest foe. Not exactly sure if this is the correct summarised version of this character. Parts assortment The parts assortment are above average. The new element is from the shoulder armour with a bow-tie on it. I like the red cape behind it. The amazing thing of this character is the inclusion of a minifigure head and hairpiece and is illustrated by a brick element which can fit nicely together. This is totally unexpected. You can see more of the details from the back view and side view. Upon removal of mask, you can see Red Hood's appearance. Red Heads Your orders, boss Let us aid you 12) Eraser The Eraser is literally an Eraser and his outfit is like a pencil with eraser on it. He provides a specialised service by covers up the tracks of other criminals, thus making it harder for them to be caught, and for which the Eraser earns a cut of the take. I wonder what role will he play in the movie and he is more of like a droid and robotic character. Parts assortment The parts assortment are average. The 2x2 unique printed tile, stated 'Eraser' which I suppose is the list of his to-do-list. The suit is quite ridiculous and I find this character rather odd looking. The yellow tuxedo outfit can be quite useful but it still require some slight modification as well. You can see the details from the back view and side view. Erase your enemy for a fee The Joker is the pencil 13) Nurse Harley Quinn The Nurse Harley Quinn also known as Dr. Harleen Frances Quinzel. She was depicted as a character completely devoted to The Joker, totally oblivious to his psychotic nature and obvious lack of affection for her. This characterisation and personality has remained more or less consistent throughout her subsequent appearances. Harley Quinn has appeared in 5 different variants from past official sets and this does not include the upcoming 70906 The Joker Notorious Lowrider. Most of the time, Harley Quinn will be in her iconic black and red jester outfit and the exceptional time, was when she was in her doctor outfit as Dr. Quinzel. This is the first time we see Harley Quinn in a nurse uniform and she look rather cute and jovial in it. Well, I am sure she is very happy to take care of The Joker in the Arkham Asylum for an eternal life. Parts assortment The parts assortment for the Nurse Harley Quinn are above average.I am very fond of the lovely nurse scarf in heart shape on her double ponytail hairpiece. The print around her torso and leg is quite complex as it encompass many colours in fine lines. It include an unique 2x2 printed hospital chart of The Joker's condition, simply to reinforce the love from Harley Quinn to Joker in their first letter initials. You can see more of the nice details from the back view and side view. Seeing double I am here to break you out Our new nurse in the hospital 14) Orca The next villain is the Orca and also known as Grace Balin. I could not have known that she was a female villain until I went to read more of her profile. She had a Ph.D in Marine Biology and Bio-Medicine and took a job at the Gotham Aquarium. Dr. Balin was later involved in an accident that left her paralysed. She experimented with spinal cord tissue regeneration using orca spinal tissue. The Gene-Therapy studies and human experimentation that she was conducting becomes the cause of her loss of funding. It is implied that Dr. Balin used a chemical formula that she derived from an Orca whale in the aquarium on herself and that is what caused her to transform into Orca. She is able to easily switch between being Orca and her regular appearance as Dr. Balin. Since then, Orca begins a crime spree in Gotham City. Well, I can't exactly be sure if this character design is meant to be a whale or a shark. It looks to me, this Orca is a convenient replacement by using the shark costume torso instead of designing a new costume. If I didn't bother to check, I could seriously thought this was a shark looking villain. Parts assortment The parts assortment are below average with nil accessory. The design is pretty good in terms of shark resemblance and the fierce black and white colour schema is quite taunting and could serve as an evil counterpart than the friendly Shark Suit Guy.You can see more of the details from his back view and side view. Upon removing the costume, you can see the apperance. Sharks attack Orca's henchmen My secret weapon Evil mascot on the loose Battle of the monsters What is this kind of monster creature? Shall we change our new cover? 15) Zodiac Master This is the last villain in the listing and is none other but Zodiac Master. He made his presence known in Gotham City by accurately predicting a series of disasters, all of which he secretly orchestrated. Having duped most of the city, he then offered his services as an underworld consultant, using his supposed astrological skills to foretell the outcome of various proposed crimes. In short, the Zodiac Master was a professional swindler and the design is quite accurate based on the reference design. Parts assortment The parts assortment are average. Apart from the common fish, we are able to see the crab in pearl silver colouring. At one look, I thought he is someone who venture in the sea and I wonder what are those props for on how to aid his crime planning. You can see more of the details from the back view and side view. Are you selling seafood? An accident is going to happen soon 16) Catman I got no idea who is Catman and I thought he was the alter-ego variant of Batman until I read more of this DC Comics character. Catman is known as Thomas Blake who is a world-famous trapper of jungle cats. He turned to crime because he had grown bored with hunting and had squandered most of his fortune. He became a burglar who committed his crimes in a catsuit made out of an ancient African cloth he believed give him a cat's nine lives. After many years of defeat at the hands of Batman and Catwoman, Catman became something of a joke in the super-villain community, so he retired and moved to Africa to live among a pride of lions. When the lions were slaughtered, Blake became a criminal mercenary and a member of the Secret Six, initially to track down the lions' killers. After the lion-killers were identified, Blake stayed with the Secret Six. The design is pretty close to the comic reference design and I really wonder what role he will play in the upcoming LEGO Batman Movie. Parts assortment The parts assortment are slightly above average. It include the new Batman utility belt in brown colour. The outfit is very similar to Batman attire but in a different colour tone. To simulate the claw-like feeling, the designer gave him the 'Wolverine-claws' to represent his clawed gloves. You can see more of the details from the back view and side view. Upon removal of his mask, you can see his real appearance. Don't mess with our claws There is nowhere for you to run 17) March Harriet The March Harriet is a villain who wears a rabbit themed costume outfit. Eventually, she was enlisted by Tweedledum and Tweedledee to serve as the March Hare for their new Wonderland Gang. Perhaps, she could also enlist the aid of the Bunny Suit Guy. Little information is known about this character and likewise, I am curious to find out this character's role in the movie. Parts assortment The parts assortment for the March Harriet are average. The bunny suit is a nice fit and perhaps a welcome addition to the costume animal suits. The tommy-gun is an existing weapon which is often used by villainous henchman. However, my other-half felt is incredibly cute to have a bunny holding a tommy-gun. You can see more of the nice details from the back view and side view. Upon removal of hood, you can see her appearance. Bunny Crimes You can't stop us 18) Calculator The shrewd tactical Calculator will always be one step ahead of his enemies. He began his criminal career by crossing the country and getting into fights with various superheroes. He would then press a button on his special costume that would analyse and record their battle tactics, ensuring he could not be beaten again by the hero that just defeated him. His villain outfit is pretty attractive and the suit simply show numerical and perhaps complex maths formula to compute those strategies. Parts assortment The parts assortment are slightly above average and there is zero accessory. The white armour is taken from earlier CMFs series from fellow spaceman. I like the front of the Calculator's number-pad in a printed 1x1 tile. The white helmet and the unique printed numbered-visor of '07734' is very nicely designed. I wonder if the numbers are meant to represent anything. The torso design is pretty nice upon removing the white armour. You can take a moment to examine the fine details from the back view and side view. Furthermore, once the armor is removed, there is detailed printing from the front view and back view. He got a cool space suit Let's help one another 19) King Tut Make no mistake on the next new Gotham villain which appeared in the Batman 1960s TV series. King Tut is in fact William Omaha McElroy, a highly regarded professor of Egyptology at Yale University. He believed that he was the reincarnation of King Tutankhamen and that Gotham is the ancient city of Thebes. His ultimate goal is to claim Gotham City. His hideouts are decorated with his Egyptian artifacts and his partners in crime are dressed in ancient Egyptian costumes. I wonder how could our Egypt Pharaoh and Queen felt when they meet this infamous King Tut. Parts assortment The parts assortment are average, as the golden scepter and green snake was available in previous LEGO CMFs. I like his quite serious undecided appearance in his white Pharaoh Crownship. I like the red maroon cape which was used for King Tut and I think is a wonderful idea to include a cape, rather than leaving it bare. You can see more of the details from the back view and side view. I am the ruler of these lands I shall bestow power on you 20) Mime The Mime is a very minor character in the DC Comics universe. From what I understand, she is Camilla Ortin. She was the daughter of Oscar Ortin, a fireworks salesman. Camilla's disdain for the noise of her father's trade and the death of her parents in a fireworks factory explosion led her to find solace in silence and practice the art of mime. Taking on the stage name of Camilla Cameo, she started the Cameo Company, which abruptly went bankrupt. This led Camilla to a life of crime as The Mime as well as a skilled martial artist. I hope my understanding of this character is correct as there are very little information about her and I guess she could be making a camo appearance in the movie. Parts assortment The parts assortment are below average and it include a pair of lightning blasts. Apart from the typical Mime's makeup with a fierce stare on her face, the rest of her outfit is pretty exotic in purple and black. I do note that her makeup is very detailed and sharp. I like the new punk hairstyle in darker blue and is nice to see some good colour varieties to it. You can see more of the details from the back view and side view. This is so much fun Who's the real Mime? Latest Batman enemies General Statistics for 71017 LEGO Minifigures - The LEGO Batman Movie Series Below is the combination which I have received from my box, 3 Lobster Lovin' Batman(s) 3 Glam Metal Batman(s) 3 Fairy Batman(s) 3 Clan of the Cave Batman(s) 3 Vacation Batman(s) 3 Barbara Gordon(s) 3 Commissioner Gordon(s) 3 Arkham Asylum Joker(s) 3 Dick Grayson(s) 3 Pink Power Batgirl(s) 3 Red Hood(s) 3 Eraser(s) 3 Nurse Harley Quinn(s) 3 Orca(s) 3 Zodiac Master(s) 3 Catman(s) 3 March Harriet(s) 3 Calculator(s) 3 King Tut(s) 3 Mime(s) Based on the above distribution, I have managed to achieve three full complete sets of 20 one-of-a kind minifigures each. This is the very first time in LEGO CMFs history, where three full complete sets and nil spares can be achieved. This will make lots of collectors very happy, by simply buying a mint box and shared among your friends and families. There is nothing much to analysis since all of the minifigures are equally distributed. We shall see which minifigure will be the most popular and hard-to-find once it is out in the public. It's very hard to predict which one will be hard, but my guess is March Harriet, Orca, Vacation Batman, Lobster-Lovin' Batman and Pink Power Batgirl. These mentioned minifigures are in my guess-list of hard to find in the wild. Please note that I have a missing cape for one of my Pink Power Batgirl, which I believed is a production error. I find it very disappointing to see a missing accessory in a sealed packet. Sigh. The LEGO Minifigures - LEGO Batman Movie Series will be launching on the 1st January 2017 (worldwide) To conclude, the LEGO Minifigures - The LEGO Batman Movie has displayed an elaborate marketing efforts to promote the upcoming LEGO Batman Movie as part of their marketing product campaign, similar to the 2014 LEGO Movie. This is a specialised LEGO minifigure theme which is targeted and designed for the movie and more importantly, this minifigure theme has helped expanded the LEGO DC Comics universe by even seeing the very minor characters such as Calculator, Eraser and Zodiac Master. The downside of this series is the lack of new elements and accessories. Some parts are being recycled and some of it are quite mainstream. I am having mixed feelings with this assortment and the biggest push factor for me to acquire is more of the association of DC Comics license characters and the love of Batman. The whole series stand out pretty well as a group, but as an individual designed character, it is quite less appealing despite of 20 minifigures designs. Well, that's my brief view before I actually open it, I was proven so wrong. The whole series is very colourful and filled with very detailed printing, which are very impressive. The colours are vibrant with the assorted impossible characters which will never be possible to see it out there in regular sets. The disappointing fact, is the significant increase of pricing in Singapore which irritate me greatly, increasing more than 30% based on the last SRP. That's the biggest disappointment ever. I am more of a fan on traditional CMFs series as those original CMFs series always appeal widely to the masses. Hopefully, this does not fixate the designers to specialise on singular licensed theme. The LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series or known as LEGO Minifigures Theme shall always be an unique commanding class of their own, which distinguish themselves from regular LEGO Theme and special releases. Instead, everything that you have seen in a single released series is all based on the 16 minifigures and recently 18 minifigures for the LEGO Disney and now even 20 minifigures unique designs from the LEGO Batman Movie to reach out to fans, children, adults and collectors of LEGO. It has been a very long standing tradition and yet they are able to retain the charm and excitement, until present time. Now with a total of 343 minifigures released for the entire Series 1 to 16, the LEGO Movie Series, LEGO Simpsons Series 1 to 2, Disney LEGO Minifigures and the current LEGO Minifigures - LEGO Batman Movie, not including Mr. Gold which unfortunately I do not have the blessings or lucky stars to own it till this date, and the special exclusive Toy Soldier and Zombie Skateboarder minifigures that can only be obtained through The Minifigures Character Encyclopedia books respectively. At this accelerated released rates, I wonder if anyone can keep up with the display shelving area as we factor to accommodate space for future expansion. For myself, I don't have the space to display all of them anymore until much further notice. Meanwhile, I really wonder what exciting new series will TLG have for us. Only time will tell and let's be patient about it. I am confident that it will be worth the wait as always. Please note that all opinions and content shown in this Eurobricks pictorial review is from 'WhiteFang' and is not meant to represent LEGO official views. It is purely stated to share as a vantage point of a reviewer. Please note that the The LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 16 do not contain the placement of LEGO spare parts/accessories. This was practiced since the start of LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 3. Summary review Playability: 8/10 (New Batman villains, allies and Batman alter-ego suits can be integrated across past and present LEGO Batman theme.) Design: 8/10 (Very detailed design and good all-rounded printing with adequate amount of new accessories for the 20 minifigures.) Price: 5/10 (Pricing notch went down by a lot due to increase of SRP, from SGD$5.50 to SGD$7.90 and I pray this will be not the norm.) Overall: 7/10 (Ready yourself for this new licensed minifigures theme and do get them all, especially if you are a LEGO Batman DC Comics fan.) I gave it a "4" based on my Review Score Card. Forum Upgrade - One Month Later
WhiteFang replied to Bonaparte's topic in Forum Information and Help
I think we (humans) are pretty forgetful. Other than the hurtful loss of BB code, this new layout is pretty as good as it get. I am used to this new format and there are lots of new features which is very useful and interesting to make interaction much easier. A sincere wonderful thank you to the core EB Admin Team (Boney, Hinck, Shadows, Jim, Rick, Sieggy and Ace) who have tirelessly working all round for the past month to make this upgrade as seamless as possible for all us to experience. I really enjoy the new site and layout. More importantly, the site is much stable now and I am sure they are continuing making sure this place will be as fun as ever as before! Thank you very much, guys for the awesome efforts that you have put in! -
Nice one, Alex. I like how those small little detailed builts being put together to beautify your city layout. I love the pot of plants, street lamps and the trees very much.

That's a nice classic built and from what I see, you might have somehow being inspired by both of these sets to make it your own MOC. I like it, especially on how you able to use this rare baseplate.
