  1. Dear Eurobricks Community, Merry Christmas! I am very pleased to share my next LEGO Star Wars Rogue One reviewing set. I will be taking a break and I hope you enjoyed the recent reviewing coverage so far. This review is complete and ready for public viewing. WhiteFang
  2. Nice coverage especially on the medieval portion. I also like to inform you that I have removed the double-post in the LEGO Historic Themes. No worries on that.
  3. Hello everyone, I am back again to share my second LEGO Star Wars Rogue One review and the earlier one which I reviewed was on the 75155 Rebel U-wing Fighter. So far, these are the two sets which I have recently opened and built for new reviews. I wonder if I can afford additional time to cover the rest in the future, but it is certainly very enjoyable to visit LEGO Star Wars again. Please note there will not be any major movie spoilers but there is bound to contain minor movie spoilers. If you are those who have not watched the movie, then please do not read this review. Just to add on, I will be integrating many supporting references and facts which can be found in the informative DK Star Wars Rogue One (Ultimate Visual Guide). Without further ado, let me bring forth the second LEGO Star Wars AT-ST Walker in this series. Movie spoilers ahead (potential), read at your own risk. Name: 75153 AT-ST Walker Theme: LEGO System / Licensed / Star Wars / Rogue One Year: 2016 Pieces: 449 Minifigs: 3 Price: USD $39.99, GBP 49.99, EURO 49.99, SGD $99.90 Resources: Brickset, BrickLink An original box image of the 75153 AT-ST Walker Back view of the original box image of the 75153 AT-ST Walker The latest new LEGO Star Wars Rogue One minifigures addition Never underestimate the power of the Empire's AT-ST The AT-ST or otherwise known as All Terrain Scout Transport in full. The AT-ST is a classic Star Wars Original Trilogy vehicular feature and is heavily used in Star Wars Episode 6: Return of the Jedi. Since then, TLG has produced several LEGO AT-ST designs since 2001 and this is the third official re-design for the classic AT-ST for a stand-alone set, not include the 8038 The Battle of Endor which also contain an AT-ST in it. It is nice to see a classic Imperial feature returning to the big screen and the design stay true to the Original Trilogy which I believe will excite many SW fans. The overall LEGO design is also an improvement to their predecessors which I will touch on in the latter sections. The AT-ST is very useful to recreate battle scenes, especially the guerrilla ambush in Jedha, lead by Saw Gerrera's militants. The Imperial AT-ST is often underestimated by the rebels without realising its full deadly potential. The Empire usually deploy AT-STs on open battlefields for swift reconnaissance and troop support. In the camped quarters of Jedha City, the AT-ST's firepower is magnified and became an immediate threat against the militants. The content of the sealed box The sealed box comes with three numbered mint packs and are numbered from one to five. The instruction manual and the dreaded sticker sheet are part of the package and somehow I wish the Imperial insignia are printed. . After the set has been built, these are the remaining spare parts which are spread across the packs. You can view the spare parts for packet 1, packet 2 and packet 3. The continuation of the amazing new LEGO Rogue One minifigures Let's examine at these minifigures from this second smallest Star Wars Rogue One set which contain a good mix of the Empire and the Rebel Alliance. From left to right, we have AT-ST Driver, Baze Malbus and Rebel Trooper. I am very fond with the three minifigures especially with their detailed printing. Upon removing their helmets and hairpieces, you can see back view of the minifigures with their alternate facial expression. All of the minifigures are featured with detailed back printing including Baze Malbus . All of these minifiures are unique to this set and if you wish to get Baze Malbus who is one of the main characters of Rogue One, then this set is not to be missed. Baze Malbus is a former Guradian of the Whills. He is a combat-hardened war veteran that have encountered numerous skirmishes. Baze has a bravado that provides a marked contrast to the spirtual centredness of his best friend and moral compass, Chirrut Imwe. He is equipped with a modified and highly illegal repeating blaster which is extremely deadly. The repeating blaster has two fire modes. The standard mode allow Baze to spray a wide field of precise targets while the secondary mode is a single-fire power shot. The AT-ST driver is an Imperial Pilot who is specialised in maneuvering the AT-ST and is a generic minifigure, while the Rebel Trooper is also a generic Rebel Trooper with a darker skin complexion. I am not exactly sure if this minifgure belong to the Special Forces (SpecForces) but I do believe he is part of the roving Saw Gerrera's militants who has ambushed the Empire in Jedha. I have also used the spare printed 1x1 bomblet and pass it to the deserving Rebel Trooper for additional weapon arsenal. The entire building content for Packet 1 The completed built for Packet 1 The completed built for the first packet is to form the base and legs of the Imperial AT-ST Walker through a mixture of grey technic and brick parts. This packet also include Baze Malbus minifigure. The entire building content for Packet 2 The completed built for Packet 2 The completed built of packet 2 is focused mainly on the cockpit control and structure. It also include the AT-ST driver and Rebel Trooper minifigures. The entire building content for Packet 3 The completed built of the AT-ST Walker This is the completed built for the AT-ST with a full dull grey facade. This Imperial Walker measures over 24cm high, 6cm long and 13cm wide. It is fun to deploy and the base structure is very sturdy. You just need to be mindful of the plates surrounding the armoured cockpit. I find those a little loose and tend to drop off if you do not play with care. There are several playing mechanisms which can be seen from here. There are shooting spring-shot missiles and adjusting the various weapon features like the light blaster cannon, the concussion grenade launcher and twin laser cannons. The most enjoyable feature is the ability to turn the knob to allow the AT-ST to rotate freely from the back as it took aim on the enemies. The thin slim mechanical legs are also able to move forth and back, which has a very complex gyro stabilisation system that keep the walker stable and upright as weight shift from one leg to another. The last playing feature could be opening the armoured cockpit. The armoured plates will provide adequate protection against small arms but not against heavy arms. The interior of the armoured cockpit will allow the AT-ST driver to have a commanding view. The original AT-ST design configuration is suppose to have two positions which comprise of a driver and gunner. In the LEGO design case, there is only one driver's position to handle both the driving and battle operations. This is quite a taunting and challenging operation for the AT-ST driver. I also noticed that TLG official design allow us to view the driver from the temple's opening, but no matter how I placed it, I can't seem to take a sneak peek at the driver's expression from the outside. These are the images of the AT-ST which can be viewed from the front, side view and back view. Assault on the Imperial AT-ST Walker Jyn, shoot it down or it will crush us The new LEGO AT-ST and Rebel U-wing Fighter together Incoming attack, brace for impact To conclude, this set is an above average LEGO Rogue One set. I like it very much and is fun to play with to form various battle scenes together. I look forward to acquire a few more of these, if the price is reasonable elsewhere and in Singapore. The minifigures assortment are excellent and the design is realistic and stayed close to the actual reference. It is quite a reasonable good improvement from the earlier designs. Movement on the legs can be quite restrictive but is good and not wobbly if you are posing in a stand-still position. If you are a huge fan of Rogue One or Original Trilogy, this set is not to be missed. Summary review Playability: 9/10 (Fun playability on the rotation of the armoured cockpit and shooting missiles.) Design: 8/10 (Good design and a reasonable improvement from previous LEGO AT-ST designs.) Price: 6/10 (Price seems reasonable elsewhere but now I know Singapore SRP is on the high side which is very disappointing which will certainly deter me from buying here.) Overall: 7.7/10 (Do absolute get this set and immerse yourself with endless fun and joy like I do.) I gave it a "4" based on my Review Score Card. What about you? I hope every one of you enjoyed reading this simple review of mine. Comments and Criticisms are welcomed. Pictures can be found in My Flickr.
  4. Thanks guys! I enjoyed this set very much and Merry Christmas. @Eskimo Blue Joe Do go ahead and share your review with us once is done. It's ok to have multiple reviews in Eurobricks.
  5. Dear Eurobricks Community, Merry Christmas in advance! It is Christmas pretty soon, over in Singapore and instead of partying and celebrating, I was actually working on this review. I enjoyed the Star Wars Rogue One movie very much and to show my love and enjoyment for the movie and the LEGO set, I proudly bring you my Rebel U-wing Fighter review. I hope I am able to share more of the new sets which I have bought recently and I sincerely hope you enjoyed this reviewing coverage. This review is complete and ready for public viewing. WhiteFang
  6. Hello everyone, It has been real exciting for me after watching the recent LEGO Star Wars Rogue One movie during the movie premiere and it has never been so enjoyable. Thereafter, I just got to pick all of the latest 2016 LEGO Star Wars Rogue One sets with good sales offering to continue building my latest reviewing adventure. I will do my best not to put any major movie spoilers but if you have not watched this movie at all, I would not encourage you to continue reading this review as I fear there might be minor spoilers ahead. In addition, I am also integrating many supporting references and facts which can be found in the informative DK Star Wars Rogue One (Ultimate Visual Guide). I got to said, that I love this movie so much and this is the first time I actually bought a movie reference book just to satisfy many curiosities of mine from this movie. Without further ado, let me bring forth the first and my favourite LEGO Star Wars Rebel U-wing Fighter in this series. Movie spoilers ahead (potential), read at your own risk. Name: 75155 Rebel U-wing Fighter Theme: LEGO System / Licensed / Star Wars / Rogue One Year: 2016 Pieces: 659 Minifigs: 5 Price: USD $79.99, GBP 69.99, EURO 79.99, SGD $149.90 Resources: Brickset, BrickLink An original box image of the 75155 Rebel U-wing Fighter Back view of the original box image of the 75155 Rebel U-wing Fighter The latest new LEGO Star Wars Rogue One minifigures addition A rebellion built on hope In a galaxy far far away, I will be bringing you my favourite set from the new Star Wars movie spin-off, Rogue One. The newly designed Rebel U-wing Fighter or also known as U-wing Gunship which is used by the Rebel Alliance. There are not many troop lifting spacecraft being made available in the Star Wars universe and most of the time, we are seeing many space-to-space combat type such as the iconic A-Wing, B-Wing, X-Wing and Y-Wing. I welcome the new addition of troop transport spacecraft like this U-wing and it kind of remind me of the older Republic Gunship designs from the Clone Wars where it carries troops into combat. I believe this is also one of the first concept design of rebel troop lift and I don't really recall seeing any of such similar concept being used by the Rebel Alliance. I am very fond of troop lift concept as it help to increase playability for battle scenes recreation. This new spacecraft is specially designed for the Rogue One movie and it is easily one of the iconic spacecraft being seen in the movie scene like the Battle of Scarif, flown to distant planets like Jedha and Eadu lead by Jyn Erso and Captain Cassian Andor. The Rebel U-wing Fighter is a sturdy and rugged troop transport. It is a well-armed swing-wing vessel that can penetrate suppressing fire towards hot landing zones, dropping soldiers onto battlefield and then continue flying and providing air support for their risky missions against the Empire. The Rebel U-wing Fighter fills a support role that many Rebel starfighters simply could not fufill such mission requirements. The content of the sealed box The sealed box comes with five numbered mint packs and are numbered from one to five. The instruction manual including the dreaded sticker sheet is packed in a sealed plastic with nil cardboard backing which may lead the manual turning into slightly crumpled state. I liked this page of the instruction manual which showcase the new minifigures design in Rogue One. After the set has been built, these are the remaining spare parts which are spread across the packs. You can view the spare parts for packet 1 including an orange brick separator, packet 2, packet 3, packet 4 and packet 5. The incredible amazing new LEGO Rogue One Rebel minifigures Let's examine at these minifigures from this second biggest Star Wars Rogue One set which contain all of the good guys from the Rebel Alliance. From left to right, we have Jyn Erso, Rebel Trooper, Rebel U-wing Pilot, Bastan and Cassian Andor. I am very impressed with the five minifigures with their unique designs and personalities from the Rebel Alliance. Upon removing their helmets and hairpieces, you can see back view of the minifigures with their alternate facial expression. The minifigures' torso designs are excellent and beautiful. I love their torso designs very much due to its refreshing looks. All of the five minifigures are featured with detailed back printing including Jyn Erso upon the removal of her cold weather survival gear front view and back view. Her rebel outfit can also modify further into other generic rebel in case you got multiple U-wing Fighters. All of these minifiures are unique to this set and if you wish to get the main characters, this set is very good to begin with. Cassian Andor and Jyn Erso Captain Cassian Jeron Andor is an accomplished Rebel Alliance Intelligence Officer with extensive undercover and combat field experience. Cassian Andor is is a disciplined operative and will follow his orders strictly including Black Operations with a deep respect for the chain of command and carrying out without any questioning. He is able to keep a cool head and complete his mission with minimum resources. He is heavily relies on covert operations to stymie Imperial Operations. These strikes are discreet and targeted. Acts of sabotage, espionage and assassinations are some of his top hidden missions. Jyn Erso is the daughter of Galen and Lyra Erso. Hunted by the Empire, Jyn survived and eventually rescued and saved by Saw Gerrera and was made to serve with him and his roving rebels. She committed numerous crimes against the Empire including aggravated assault against imperial personnel and possession of unsanctioned weapons, etc. She was rescued by the Rebel Alliance during her imprisonment and was subsequently persuaded to assist the Rebel Alliance. Rebel Trooper, U-Wing Pilot and Bistan Rebel Troopers are entrusted with defence and missions vital to Alliance High Command. They are handpicked best of the Rebel ground soldiers to form the Special Forces (SpecForces). Of these elite infantry, the Pathfinders stand apart as some of the most hardened, brave and exceptional soldiers in the Rebellion. On Scarif, they are tasked with covert infiltration into enemy territory establishing a beachhead and holding ground until the arrival of the main military force. Rebel U-wing Pilot belong to General Merrick's personal command, Blue Squadron. It is an expanded unit with a mix of X-Wings assigned to escort U-Wing Fighters into combat zones, and a small number of Y-Wings. The full mobilisation was seen in the battle of Scarif to assist Rogue One operations. One particular interest, which I note is the choice and design of this Rebel U-wing Pilot. I found out that the rebel pilot helmet of this design resembled very closely to 'Gold Nine', Wona Goban. It does not really resemble any Blue Leaders or Pilots. Corporal Bistan belong to an uncommon species of Iakaru. He fight ferociously and proven himself to be a nutcracker against the Empire through sheer guts and accuracy under fire. Bistan specialised in maintaining directed cover fire from the main entry hatch of a U-wing Fighter during flight and landing operations. He pours out streams of deadly anti-personnel fire support with his overpowered repeating blaster, to protect troopers racing in or out of the U-wing Fighter. The entire building content for Packet 1 The completed built for Packet 1 The completed built for the first packet is to form the base of the Rebel U-wing structure through a mixture of technic and brick parts with a strong foundation. This packet also include Jyn Erso and Cassian Andor minifigures. The entire building content for Packet 2 The completed built for Packet 2 The completed built of packet 2 is focused mainly on the two S-foils wings which are attached at both sides. The entire building content for Packet 3 The completed built for Packet 3 The third packet focus on the cargo and troop holding area at the bottom. This packet also include the minifigure of Rebel Trooper and Bistan. The entire building content for Packet 4 The completed built for Packet 4 The fourth packet focus the built of the cockpit surrounding area and this also include the last minifigure, Rebel U-wing Pilot. The entire building content for Packet 5 The completed built of the Rebel U-wing Fighter This is the completed built for the Rebel U-wing Fighter with mixture of white and blue at the top and gray to form the hull below. This spacecraft measures over 10cm high, 44cm long and 20cm wide with wings closed, and over 38cm and 64cm wide with wings open. It is highly swooshable and fun to play and swoosh without any bricks falling apart. Very good overall interlocking mechanism for this entire set. There are several playing mechanism including the shooting missiles playing feature which can be seen clearly through this close up shot and the missiles are activated by the 2x2 blue brick mechanism. The other playing feature is the opening of the cockpit. It can be achieved by pushing the 1x1 gray round stud forward and the cockpit will open. It can be quite challenging to open by the finger since is quite aligned to the surface. You can take a closer look at the pilot controls which is quite far away from his hands though. Taking another closer look forward, you can see the pilot looking downwards through a ventral cockpit viewport. Unlike most starfighters, the U-wing suppose to have a two-seater cockpit with tandem controls. A single pilot can still operate the craft, but a flight team of two can better handle landing zone fire suppression and defence. The next playing mechanism is the door opening mechanism which can be seen clearly through this close up shot. It can place a gunner on either side or both of the positions but it is pretty packed to squeeze more than three minifigures in there. It can be pretty fun seeing it taking off with a gunner providing covering fire. The specification for the U-wing is supposed to carry two pilots and eight troopers. Shifting to the end of the spacecraft, you can open into the cargo hold which is above the repulsor block cooling fins. The last fun S-foils combat activation which can be pulled and click onto the locking mechanism to achieve the complete S-foils configuration for hyperspace and combat fighting. You can also take a closer look at the Incom 41.7 fusial thrust engine which is quite detailed. These are the images of the Rebel U-wing Fighter which can be viewed from the front, side view, back view and bottom view. Front view of U-wing transformed with its S-foils combat flight configuration Though not built for ship-to-ship dogfights, the Rebel U-wing Fighter does have a combat-ready flight configuration. Its S-foils, usually stowed in a forward sweep, swing outward and back, increasing the ship's wingspan. The foils help radiate excess heat from the engine cores and also increase the coverage envelope of the ship's deflector shields. Atmospheric conditions may make wing deployment difficult, so this configuration is usually reserved for high altitude or interstellar operations. The Rebel U-wing Fighter met the primary importance of versatility for the Rebel Alliance. It emerges as an ideal vehicle for troop transport, gunship, medical evacuation lifter, courier ship and shuttle are all roles the craft has been asked to play. Although they are equipped with hyper drive, U-wings are not recommended extended long-range operations. Crew life-support requirements would greatly increase fuel demands beyond efficiency. Typically, U-wings drop off and extract soldiers, and when not in use tend to stay out of sight in order to preserve fuel. Senator Mon Mothma, we are ready for the mission Ready to load up Charging forward I will crush the rebellion Move and spread out To conclude, this set is an above average LEGO Rogue One set. I had actually played with it and swoosh it around and simulate troop transport in hot landing zones and on top of that, I actually got more than one of these sets. Real awesome to have a good decent rebel troops transport and the movie positive experience simply add and increase the excitement and love for the U-wing. There is some flaw which I dislike, largely attributed to the small transport area. Other than that, this is quite a very good set to begin with. I am not going to complain about any inaccurate colour scheme. I am happy with what it is, even though a little more blue could help to increase the appeal. Summary review Playability: 10/10 (Absolute fun to form your own battle scenes with highly swooshable fun. I rarely give a full score on playability.) Design: 8/10 (Good design, but I wish it can have a larger transport bay to place more than three minifigures.) Price: 7/10 (Price seems quite reasonable and is priced at somewhere higher mid-tier, but now I know Singapore SRP is on the high side which is very disappointing.) Overall: 8.3/10 (Do absolute get this set and immerse yourself with endless fun and joy like I do.) I gave it a "4" based on my Review Score Card. What about you? I hope every one of you enjoyed reading this simple review of mine. Comments and Criticisms are welcomed. Pictures can be found in My Flickr.
  7. Congrats to all of the winners who have won in this raffle. A great big thanks to CopMike for organising this annual tradition. I am also didn't win this year, nonetheless, I had great enjoyment with huge anticipation for the next one. Real fun to go through this tradition.
  8. Yes, it touched on it very briefly but focused on the Imperial Command characters within the movie. This also encompass the Imperial Support as well.
  9. Hello everyone, I would like to share this very short comprehensive review with the Eurobricks MCW community. It has been a long while since I last done a MCW related review. Well, I do not want to miss this good opportunity of Christmas sharing and for this opportunity, it owe to my very good friend. He gave me an awesome unexpected gift, right before I left for home. This is my very first Citizen Brick pad-printed minifigure. Highly premium and amazing, only for the minifigures aficionado who are damn supportive of this niche area that my poor wallet can't afford me so. My friend could easily counter my argument with this and I am a little sway. This is simply because this minifigure are not very cheap to come by but for the price you pay, you will be damn sure it is very worth it for the pad-printed technology. This is the very same technology which TLG employed for their minifigures' printing. The last time I had done a Citizen Brick review was for Eurobricks Customised Orc Heads exclusive printing in 2012. Without further ado, let me start by sharing some pictures and thoughts for this amazing gift which I received. An original packaging image of the Pity Enthusiast Back view of the original packaging image of the Pity Enthusiast Pity Enthusiast or B.A. Baracus This amazing customised character. Pity Enthusiast is produced by Citizen Brick and is 100% made of LEGO minifigure elements with pad-printing all round the surface. This Pity Enthusiast resembled closely with B.A Barcus from the The A Team and he also known as otherwise for short, Mr. T. He is a mechanical genius and a rough and tough hand-to-hand combatant. The design outfit is very close to actual reference and some notable iconic feature include the chunk of gold chains which B.A Barcus enjoyed wearing such blink blink. The complex pad-printing allow detailed fine accurate smooth print which can be seen very clearly from the back view and side view. Which B.A Baracus version do you like? TLG has also recently released their own original LEGO version of 71251 B.A Baracus. Which version do you prefer? Well, either outfit are pretty iconic. The biggest difference between both are the difference of hairstyles and lack of leg printing at the front and side on the LEGO version. Both minifigures contain back printing. This is my customised 1983 G.M.C van I am very happy with this customised minifigure. The quality is undeniable and there is absolute nil complain on the quality department. Just that the price is on the high side, but even if you have the money to buy, this Citizen Brick minifigure is currently out-of-stock. I am not sure if they are intending to replenish it, but from what I noticed, once they are out-of-stock, they rarely ever came back with new stocks. This is pretty fun and especially I have both of these different versions to compare with. I would love to assemble the rest of the A Team characters somehow. Hopefully we can customise them to continue the adventures of these Soldiers of Fortune. Pictures can be found in My Flickr.
  10. I have updated your topic title for better clarity. It's not called Rouge. Topic moved to Culture and Multimedia. Yes, I also bought this book and have great plans for using this newly acquired information to integrate with my new LEGO Rogue One sets. Real exciting to be reading the information that was all over the place in the movie even the little tiny things too. Outstanding publication. Beware, lots of spoilers in there. Don't read it before the movies.
  11. Nice colourful vibrant built with lots of gifts on the way. I particularly like the front of the vehicle and I noticed you have added a little festive touch on the wheel reams as well. Happy holidays.
  12. Thank you for all of your comments and thoughts. Well, those parts are certainly very specialised. I could imagine it is going to be challenging to use it in medieval era for your warring minifigures. I think your assumption is very correct and is likely that these accessories are for the Zodiac signs. To some extent, yes, but I do find them pretty adorable wearing with their short legs.
  13. Welcome to Eurobricks, but we do not tolerate self-promotion YouTube video with ad feed in it, plus there is no other content apart from a link. Thus, the topic is locked. WhiteFang
  14. Thank you guys for your feedback! I am glad you enjoyed reading it. Here you go, my own version of SW Rebels with short-legs,
  15. The last 45 minutes of the movie was the most enjoyable climax and I grip it right to the end of the very last, where everything became so clear!
  16. My top pick is Vacation Batman, due to the batsy rubber ducky with a total useful minifigure head.
  17. I just watched this movie and it's superb outstanding. I enjoyed it very much. The whole flow and on how it manage to integrate fine details in there. It take a SW fan to truly appreciate these little details which I enjoy the most.
  18. When Captain Nemo state 'stay on topic', he sincerely meant it. When I am reading at this discussion, I had to sniff through those off topic comments which is extremely unpleasant and irrelevant to LEGO Batman CMFs and LEGO Batman Movie sets for 2017. Let's continue to keep up the good efforts of making this discussion clutter-free. Thank you. WhiteFang
  19. Yes. Access granted. Welcome to Reviewers Academy.
  20. AmperZand, thank you. There is nil back printing for the Glam Metal Batman. After I finished with the review, I noticed I got that very minifigure (for my photoshoot) wrongly. Yes, I am aware March Harriet is a social escort, but for the benefit of young readers lurking in EB. I choose to sanction certain information. Here are some of the requested photos which I hope is of use. Battle of the monsters What is this kind of monster creature? Shall we change our new cover? Yes, I think another variant of the bunny mascot costume would be more favourable to my taste. Thanks Holodoc. Well, I suspect all of the minor little baddies could be making more of a camo appearance. It doesn't make sense to have so many bad guys including the new upcoming LEGO Movie sets to feature so many of them in a two-hours (avg) movie. Awesome CopMike. Glad you have managed to secure it at a very reasonable price in Sweden. Thank you for the video link. I had never watched the 1960s Batman Classic TV series and that video of the oceanic repellent spray is certainly an eye-opener.
  21. Thanks everyone for your comments. It's truly nice to know that you have enjoyed reading this reviewing coverage with great anticipation and excitement for this new series. Makoy, I think you raise a good point. However, consumers may generally be able to respond to these new prices and continue to get them. It's only a matter of how many multiples of the same character which you could like to get more. I seriously don't think the new price increase or future price increase could deter consumers from buying the CMFs. It could generally be causal collectors who are into one-off CMFs purchase may not want to get this or new incoming CMFs collectors thinking twice. For some of us, including myself, I have already sunk so deep into the LEGO CMFs and stopping one series could just telling myself that I got a gap in my LEGO CMFs collection and I can't stop plugging the gap. In short, unless the design and appeal have dropped significantly, I don't see myself giving up on LEGO CMFs. I am also keen to find out on Malaysia SRP, with regards to Singapore SRP as a base comparison. It's a huge pity and I don't meant for the price rant and I am not encouraging this review to be merely solely talking about the price outrage. Agreed with you. Like what I have mentioned above, I am sure many of us are very annoyed with the price hike and we could probably (wish) it's an one-off price increase due to DC Comics license. It's just a wishful speculation. Yes, indeed. Secret Six is seem very possible. How it is not possible that you didn't pay attention to it. Yes, I am missing of the '19' and '20'. I have also recently lost a number as well. That number was photoshopped too. Thus, I need to open a new LEGO calendar box, just to obtain those numbers out in the future.
  22. I still not sure of the official prices for other regions. I am already feeling very disheartened for Singapore SRP for the LEGO CMFs. I know is almost impossible, but kind of secretly hope is an one-off increase before they reduce back to the old pricing due to high license fee of DC Comics. That's a huge assumption which no one can know for certain. Thank you darphipinko. Glad you have enjoyed reading it. Yes yes, you have pointed something. It's not suppose to place this way. I put it, without realising the orientation of the 1x1 printed tile. You are very sharp to take note of this minor little detail. Also, thank you for pointing that SRP out.
  23. Nice Pika Pika MOC. It's not easy to build such complex sculpture and I think you did a good job in capture the essential details. Alan, thank you for sharing with us.
  24. Yes, I am aware of it too. I was hoping that they didn't have to reuse the shark mould. Extract from the review: "It is implied that Dr. Balin used a chemical formula that she derived from an Orca whale in the aquarium on herself and that is what caused her to transform into Orca. She is able to easily switch between being Orca and her regular appearance as Dr. Balin."
  25. Thanks makoy. Glad you agreed with my top picks as well. I sincerely hope it won't cause any sudden shortage of any minifigures since I don't suppose any of them are army builders worthy. I can imagine people wanting to hoard multiples of March Harriets and Orcas due to their costume iconic mascots. I just saw in the Series 17 discussion in our EB and members seem to be hinting towards a character design in Series 17. This is extremely disappointing. From what I read online so far, I thought this was not confirmed for Singapore's case. This is very disheartening and incredibly sucks. I am still buying those LEGO CMFs series regularly in Singapore. A big sigh.
