I say yes for two reasons - one cause I want as many variants as possible and the casual clothes the pair wear from the journey to Hogwarts are already too prevalent (3 sets each, plus Ron's torso was reused for Tiny Tim). There are old two confirmed new molds for the March wave so I imagine a fair slice of the budget will go on prints. The second is that there may be a 'UCS' Burrow on the way - I think there is quite a good chance it will be based on its debut in CoS. Harry and Ron wear the same outfits in that set and so that would free up print budget from that set for new molds and prints.

I picked a set for each film in like to see in the summer wave - for each film there is at least one other set I'd love to see. PS: The Chamber of Winged Keys CS: The Duelling Club POA: The Leaky Cauldron GOF: The Durmstang Ship OOTP: The Ministry Battle HBP: The Inferi Cave DHI: The Wedding Tent DHII: The Boathouse

I'd guess Katie Bell and Demelza Robins.

Has anyone ever sorted out the best torso (and I guess leg and arm) prints for each version of Vader? I think I'm right in saying he appears in Revenge of the Sith, A New Hope, Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi, Rogue One, Clone Wars S7, Rebels, and Obi-Wan Kenobi, and there are subtle differences in the armour for each appearance. I've never really looked into it but just sorting through my Vaders and wanted to know which ones were most accurate.

Assuming all information is correct, there is huge potential for variants (Hagrid and Trio in the hut, Ron and Hermione in the FF, all three figs in the Owlery) but only two possibly new characters. Both are so far unnamed students the boathouse set - it sounds like it's from the start of Year 1 so it's likely Harry's two chums will be in the non-house robes. The list of missing students is now pretty slim: Alicia Spinnet, Millicent Bulstrode, Ernie MacMillain, Penelope Clearwater, Roger Davies, Eloise Midgen, Zacharias Smith, Leanne, Katie Bell, Cormac McLaggen, Marcus Belby. Of those, only Ernie and Millicent are in Harry's year I think. However, Fang and Norbert of the list of creatures is great! We still don't have a dedicated Trevor (although plenty of frogs/toads in the sets) Errol, or Firenze, however all other named creatures, beasts and beings are accounted for. We're just waited on the Troll in the Dungeon, Unicorn (RIP), Inferi, Giants from the BoH and (I doubt this will ever happen) the other three Triwizard dragons.

I'd like this to be true, its certainly got a more fun vibe to it like previous spring/summer waves have before. All sounds a bit too good to be true though, so as others have said no offence but a pinch of salt taken here. That Forbidden Forest set sounds interesting. It would be great if the Hippogriff was not Buckbeak and could be a more varied colour.

Does anyone know if the 20% off banners will be in store or online only?

The D2C is based on HBP - look at the stretch of wall between the Grand Staircase Tower and the Quad Entrance. From HBP onwards it's a blank wall, before that there was a strange tower that juts out with no windows.
-
Is that a new tux piece? They all look so similar, so it's hard to tell, but good to know it's a new face print for the goblin at least. If it's free with €130 worth of HP Lego I'm hoping it's free with no more than £120 here in the UK.

Defence Against the Dark Arts There is a DADA tower, it appears in films 1-5 but was replaced by the Astronomy Tower after that.
-
Shame there is no kilt piece for Aberforth - I may try adding the bagpiper cloth.

Ricbert is a film invention like Nigel, so I left him off as I didn't think we'd ever get non-book characters tbh. And Pig only appears in a promo photo and not in the full films I think, although I would love to get a tiny owl of course!
-
I don't think it's worth dragging up the whole 'missing characters' list as we don't really get any new ones in this set, but we can now tick off a few more creatures/animals/beings: Norbert Troll Unicorn Other Triwizard Dragons Inferi Giants Fang (Errol) (Trevor) (Firenze) Ukrainian Ironbelly Goblins I think we could easily get another Gringotts in the style of the new WWW shop a few years down the line, but aside from some recolours of the Goblin hair, there's not much else we could ask for from the Goblins. The ones in brackets we have the species of, but not the actual character. Many if the remaining ones all appear in PS (Norbert, Troll, Unicorn, Fang, Firenze, Trevor) and I don't hold out much hope for the other Triwizard Dragons

Quite interested to see the bank interior, as we only really see the atrium in the films. I reckon there will be some misc banking stuff about in the wings. The Magical Menagerie is seen in the famous opening shot of Gringotts to the left, on the right is Broomstix but you can't really see it, the structure looks small in the box art so I'm thinking either a suggestion of Knockturn Alley or the moving wall from Leaky Cauldron. I like the idea behind the set a lot though.

The new section fits in really well, the cage and hidden bed especially. I'd probably remove the 1x3 slopes with cheese slopes on top as they don't look quite in keeping, and also rotate the pirate flag between them so the flag can be seen from the front
-
As others have said its still quite similar to the original set, but the sails and proper wheel are a big improvement. I think making some modifications to the interior would make it more 'yours' too

This is just brilliant! I think keeping the proper ships wheel piece from the original set would be an improvement you could make, but keep it in the position you have placed the wheel on your version, rather than lower down as on the original. The colours work so well here, and I think the figurehead is much better than the original, although perhaps the skull could be a plate or two higher. Great job!

There is also the Goat Boat from Thor and the 3 in 1 Viking ship, so there are a lot of boats knocking about at the moment, also not including the new Pirate ship in the EL Dorado set. I can see a Dumstrang Ship coming out in the next few years with a new hat mold and including some grindylows and maybe even a merperson in addition to Krum, Karkaroff and a few non-Dumstrang figures.

Another great example of expanding a tiny original Pirate set! I always think it looks better when the Technic part in the palm trees has a brown stud pushed into the pin hole, might be worth trying that so there isn't a big gap in the middle of the tree. I also think the 2x3 slope underneath the lantern should be moved out a stud so it is flush with the rounded slope at the back as at present it is a little bit severe, or maybe split it into two 1x3 slopes to stagger the transition. I think the shaping on the small cave looks really good and you managed to fit plenty of fun details in. Unless my eyes are deceiving me though, looks like there is no monkey?!

[ENTRY] 1872 Imperial Guard Camp - Remake 2023
Seaber replied to MyFirstMOC-Hun's topic in Pirate MOCs
I like how you extrapolated this lovely scene from the tiny original set. The makeshift camp with the run down fort being improved with a quickly constructed shelter looks very good, I like how the plant life has taken over the destroyed architecture. For improvements I think the non-yellow flowers should be swited to yellow - this makes more consistency and is a nice hint to the yellow elements used in the original to represent sand. I'd also make the fire look a little less wild, perhaps change it out with candle pieces or maybe some trans orange studs to make it look more smouldering. We don't want our soldiers getting too hot! Lastly, maybe give one of the soldiers a fan to keep themselves cool, I think that would be a fun little detail -
[ENTRY] 6274 Carribean Clipper Remake "Governor's Galleon"
Seaber replied to VeriYolki's topic in Pirate MOCs
This is a powerful looking ship, I'll wait to see more photos before commenting further though, looks good so far. I went to your insta incase you'd already uploaded them there and have to say you have a very lovely looking cat -
I love the look and style of buildings here, you have represented all of the main buildings in the Imperial Trading Post set as far as I can tell - the warehouse and lookout tower seem clear, but the other building seems to have been split into a small fort and the inn, which I think is a lovely touch. There is one element of the original set missing here, and that's a crane! Perhaps adding a small crane or jib by the warehouse (I think this is the building with the ships wheel on it) and a small boat or rowing boat with cargo inside, that would make it feel more like the original. Moving from the raised baseplate to a flatter location is fine, but I think the whole dock being a straight line rather than the original set which had lots of angles in the dock is less interesting, so maybe try moving some of the buildings around to get a more lively dock area. The buildings all look incredible and I can't fault any of them!

I think we may see the following shops included in sets as the 'WWW' part, and one of the smaller shops taking up the 'Owl Post' office. I've added in random small shops you you can see what I mean. Ollivanders (and Potages) Flourish and Blotts (and Madam Malkins) Leaky Cauldron (and Eyelops) Borgin and Burkes (and Menagerie) I also don't think it's out of the question we could get a set called Diagon Alley shops with a few of the lesser known stores.

The 2009 line was my I troduction to pirates, so I really love this MOC. The Imperial Outpost was always a set that never took my fancy the way El Dorado, Sabre Island or the Trading Post did, I think the shaping in the set looks more like a mansion than an outpost. Still, I really like how your remake has come together in the 2009 style. One improvement I think would make this set pop a bit more is to add a short wall or rail above the canopy in the Admiral's office - this would be in keeping with the original and also make his office look more secure. Great job!
