  1. The Quidditch robes and Lucius fig were always quite likely to appear elsewhere, the photographer and variants for the trio, Ginny, Fred, George, Molly and Lockhart are quite likely to stay unique to DA.
  2. Depp to be recast as Grindelwald. BBC News - Johnny Depp leaves Fantastic Beasts franchise https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-54846285
  3. Oh, the intimacy coordinator? Nothing to worry about in itself, they'll probably be required for any scenes with only kissing in future in most productions. It's an important step after the Me 2 movement and has the added bonus of having actors more relaxed and happy in intimate scenes, so fewer awkward sex scenes etc going forward hopefully! Good to see Amazon is doing the right thing hiring one (not to say how good the final product will bet though!) as anyone who has seen a show like Normal People or I May Destroy You can see the quality acting in intimate scenes. Sprout is intriguing, would be interested in Snape if he even just has a new face print!
  4. What rumours? I've seen nothinf along those lines at all.
  5. Pretty much spot on! Only thing that could improve it would be a new bald headpiece with printed white hair on, like the top of Filch/Ernie Prang, as I believe neither piece can fit on with that beard piece.
  6. Ah, gotcha, I misread your post :) Like Lily Moon and Morag MacDougal then (best name in the books)
  7. Hannah Abbott comes before Mandy :) I agree with your points though!
  8. I think an updated Smuggler's Shanty would be great as a small set. We need a Bluecoat ship, then a new army to face the pirates. I'd prefer an army like greencoats or yellowcoats to replace armada, with them still based on the Spanish armies. A lovely Spanishesque Fort and ship, with a Pirate town and the obligatory outpost and skull island/buried treasure sets for a complete line.
  9. I find I'm changing a lot of official student figures (Cho, Lavender, Seamus, Hannah, as well as Fleur and Krum) to have more unique faces. As such, I'm in no huge rush to get Crabbe and Goyle, as the Slytherin torso is now easily available and there are plenty of grumpy faces available. Still, they will almost certainly make the pair at some point, they're almost ever present and recognisable. I reckon they'll have the Finn hair unfortunately when they get a minifig though.
  10. (I'd love a 12 GP btw) Yes, LC has the Muggle world side, and the reverse has the courtyard to DA with a lovely intricate window. Above that it has a Tudor look and looks to have maybe two storeys above the ground floor, and the bay windows face out over the street up past Potages (early films) in a haphazard, slanty way. Also the floor plan isn't square - it's a trapezium or trapezoid which would make for an interesting shape. In my opinion of course.
  11. Thanks :) She also wears this in CoS, in most scenes apart from the Herbology scene I think. I think Snape wears a big coat and scarf at the Quidditch games, and no robe at the duelling club, otherwise yeah it's all black and purple.
  12. The figure looks so good! Could someone confirm if the hair under the hat is dark tan? This is exactly what McGonagall has needed all along, the printed skirt and a hat piece similar to the Wacky Witch one. Could it be recoloured and reused for a Sinistra figure down the line perhaps, or formal Hooch or Grubbly-Plank? It really whets the appetite for Flitwick, but also Sprout (new outfit? Hat without earmuffs?). No idea what they could do with Snape though!
  13. If it's £100 to get MBOM then I still need the Burrow and either an extra student pack or extra RoR. Great! I should be fine as long as what I want is in stock ... and stocks of the GWP hold until payday ten days after launch What will be will be I suppose
  14. Is the MBOM a GWP set for any particular month/day?
  15. Yeah, that's exactly what I meant, I was thinking a bigger version of the Great Hall for example. I had no idea it's not being retired anymore though, which sort of suggests that wouldn't be a goer!
  16. Very interesting point! Things like Gringotts and Hagrid's Motorbike appear in both those films (well a DH film, anyway) which is nice. There is a lot of creature possibility in say a Troll in the Dungeon set or the Forbidden Forest (unicorn, Firenze, FANG!, maybe even Norbert),as well as the obvious PS chambers set with Fluffy.
  17. Cheers for the info Guyon, salt duly applied :) Assuming that the seven sets up to 79.99 are DH with one or two missing sets from older films thrown in, the bigger three are interesting. Chamber of Secrets, Philosopher's Stone Chambers, Ministry of Magic and Grimmauld Place could all fit into the 100+ price range. Hogsmeade has also been mentioned for the largest set, but what about a 'UCS' Hogwarts minifig scale area?
  18. That Hogwarts Mystery game is based on the movies, at least aesthetically, and gives us a look at Profs Binns, Tofty and Kettleburn, Peeves and Madam Puddifoot, as well as places like the HoM classroom. In the past, Lego has based some of it's SW figures on action figures (Hoth Han's blue parka for example), so if Lego did fancy throwing in a History of Magic module in a Hogwarts set in a hypothetical future set, they have an aesthetically relevant basis. The same may go for Hogwarts Legacy. Its important to note that these games aren't strictly Canon, but obviously Prof Binns is a Canon character so his appearance is an interpretation of Canon (as with all characters in the films). Both Hogwarts Legacy, Hogwarts Mystery as well as Wizards Unite are all Portkey/WB, so it's not outside the realms of possibility I suppose. AFAIK The Cursed Child isn't a WB property yet. Anyway, no matter what you think about any of these HP spin offs, we're probably getting a DHI and II wave next, and maybe some more FB, so not much use speculating about other material right now. Regarding the book stuff, I can't think of much that the films didn't include that would make a good set...
  19. Dumbledore has em, as do all the CoS figures from the next year :)
  20. I have had quite a busy couple of months, but I made a few entries to the Return to Hogwarts contenst on the LEGO website. I'm not expecting to win as there were some really great entries, but I'll post them once the judging has finished. Before that I'll post one entry that was rejected, and another that I didn't get round to finishing. The first is based on Harry's first night in Hogwarts, where he is sitting on the windowsill lookin gout over the lake with Hedwig. This one was rejected, though I can't understand the reason why. Still, it was a fun afternoon designing and not my favourite entry anyway :) I did enjoy designing the water jug and bed, the cupboard took about an hour to get right for something so small. Harry's using lamp bricks to look like sitting legs. I didn't get to finish the following entry as I had two weeks away. It's a mini Hogwarts, currently in the GoF look, which I was then going to have certain features easily added, removed, or modified to make it look like other films and other scenes. The GoF scene was to be the arrival of the Beauxbatons and Durmstrang students in mini carriage and ship which I started but didn't complete. Someone uploaded an entry with a similar Flying Horse design too, which made me lose interest more. I've rendered it as it is though, so the rock work is incomplete, as is the Training Grounds, and the GST is one level too short. The Wooden Bridge hasn't even been started! Might finish it off one day.
  21. Yeah, a CoMC (Hagrid, Harry, Malfoy with brickbuilt Buckbeak and trees), Divination (Trelawney, Neville and Hermione, with tables, crystal balls and tea cups) and DADA (lots of possibilities here!) would work well as a second series if there were to be one. Struggling to think of a fourth, maybe the Great Hall during the Duelling Club? That'd be a good way to shoe horn a Hufflepuff in at least!
  22. I don't follow the FB film news, do we know how far through production it was? The books look really nice, as everything has to fold away there is obviously not much depth, but I think the design is really interesting. I think the Transfiguration one will be my favourite, shame that is the most blurred photo though! The 'Cho' figure has the same hair and same wand colour as the CMF. There aren't any other film Ravenclaws who look like that.
  23. Assuming the information is correct (even from trusted leaker a pinch of salt is advised as mentioned by the OP) it's good to have the advent calender confirmed, even though it seemed likely from the start. The last two waves would suggest a Slug Club themed calender (Great Hall and Clock Tower got extra minifigs and decorations the last two years) and decorations for that would seem easy to produce. New minifig wise Cormac, Dean, Zabini and Malfoy in suit are candidates, maybe Marcus Belby, although he only appears at the first dinner, or the film only Carrow girls. Otherwise Christmas at the Burrow or Grimmauld Place could reuse some figures from the Burrow set and give us some new variants. Regarding the eight other sets, there are plenty of brand new locations from the final two movies, if that's what this wave is based on as we presume - Malfoy Manor, the Wedding Tent, the Cafe, the Tent/Pool, Godric's Hollow, Lovegood House, Shell Cottage are all new, as well as revisited places like Gringotts, Hogsmeade, Ministry of Magic, Grimmauld Place and the Flying Motorbike which have been seen in other films but still not appeared in the rebooted theme. Oh yeah, and more Hogwarts!
  24. Gringotts AND a DA add on? In the same wave? So soon after 75978? Localised entirely within your kitchen? Obviously would be cool but too soon for something so similar to Diagon Alley I think.
  25. Dumbledore's office is in those three tiny turrets on top of the biggest tower, yeah. The bathroom in the Clock tower set is the Prefects bathroom, rather than Myrtle's, which is located just below the Hospital Wing in universe. I'm not modding my sets into a correct Hogwarts, I'm going to be breaking them up and rebuilding when I get a chance so I'm not sure of the best placement of the existing modules :)
