I'm working on a few MOCs for the other side of Diagon Alley, I'm colourblind though, so would someone be able to advise on what colours the following shop fronts are? Eeylops on the left, Wiseacres on the right. Potages and Madam Malkins. More of Madam Malkins on the far left. The Magical Menagerie. If someone could let me know colours for the windows, doors and sign above each shop, as well as the arch above Madam Malkins, that would be really helpful. Thanks!

Of the shops that haven't appeared yet, Gringotts and The Leaky Cauldron are the most recognisable. The Magical Menagerie, Mr Mulpeppers, Slug and Jiggers, Wiseacres and Eeylops all have pretty much exactly the same layout. Madam Malkins and Potages are similar, but with a few more interesting features.

Where is this guys torso from? They all look good! Looking forward to the next batch.

Certainly a lot better! I like Haldir's face too, I can't help thinking the idea face is somewhere between the two.

Now that's very nice! I have a lot of respect for giant Hogwarts MOCs, but this scale suits it best I think. Always like a library scene too

I only managed to get low quality photos as my laptop is on the blink, but in case anyone fancied making some extra DA employees, here are the QQS and F&B assistants: There is also the tall moustachioed man in Chamber of Secrets who may be the F&B manager. Last but not least, Verity completes the WWW employees.
-
As good as DA is, and it is good, I do have some reservations. Figures: Fred and George are perfect. Fortescue is wonderful - two new prints and a hair piece in a new colour! Ginny is good, Molly has the weird hair from the Burrow, but the lack of printing on the skirt is less distracting here. The photographer has a clever recoloured hat, even if it isn't completely accurate, but the black facial hair should be dark grey. Hagrid is a good as ever, but will be my third so not too exciting. Not sure which Ollivander I prefer, but as it's so similar to the GWP version, another not too exciting one. Lockhart looks great, I'm not sure about the hairstyle (colour is right) and face print though. Looks a little too chiselled. Lucius has a great torso, but the face print is all wrong. My personal preference is tan over BLY as the hair colour for the Malfoy family, luckily Draco' s pieces are available in tan, but for Lucius the closest options are his 2003 or 2010 versions. That's my own personal choice though. Draco's torso is great, but not accurate to the scene. Hopefully we'll get more Slytherin robes in future, cheaper sets other than the two expensive ones they've appeared in. The trio I'm torn on. On one hand they should be more open and show casual clothes underneath, on the other hand getting another three would cover Fred, George and Percy's outfits from that scene. Costly though. Arthur Weasley should have been included, even if his hat piece was just a recoloured CMF Wizard/Death Eater. Accessories: Ollivanders, Scribbulus and Flourish and Blotts all extend out over the edge of the baseplate, but only F&B and WWW have accessories to occupy the extra space with the desk and love potion stand. Other accessories like bookcases, wand shelves, a desk for the Daily Prophet office, Quidditch Gear, WWW products, table and chairs for the parlour and maybe some bins, boxes or the chestnut roasting machine could go in Knockturn Alley. Another owl, or perhaps a dark creature to live in KA would be welcome too. Buildings: The spiderweb in the DP office seems a bit lazy to be honest, perhaps a chandelier would have been more interesting. Also, as good as WWW is, it seems to be lacking in actual products. Flourish and Blotts isn't based on either of its appearances, which makes me think it's structure may be based on the second hand bookshop. I haven't had a chance to check that though. Also, Knockturn Alley isn't the alleyway next to WWW, but combining them creatively has worked well. I hope this doesn't sound like I'm complaining, I'm really excited for this set and look forward to getting it and modding it, and seeing what others do with it. Nitpicks aside I am very impressed. Assuming Gringotts gets a stand alone set, I would love to see a follow up set or sets one day with the Leaky Cauldron, Magical Menagerie, Eeylops Owl Emporium, Wiseacres Wizarding Equipment, Madam Malkins, Potages Cauldron Shop and the Apothecaries in a similar style.
-
The other Apothecary is Mr Mulpeppers :) D&D is Hogsmeade, the tea shop isn't in the films. Potages Cauldron shop and Wiseacres Wizarding Equipment are the most prominent ones missing not on your list, apart from Gringotts.

Photographer looks good but a black beard rather than dark grey? Will update him to medium/large legs I think.
-
Maybe wishful thinking, but not impossible with that PS Harry we've seen...

Is anyone planning on getting doubles of any figure? For S1 I got an extra Moody (for Crouch Jr.), as well as the uniformed version of Harry, Ron, Hermione, Dean, Malfoy, Neville and Cho for extra students. I've seen people buy doubles of pajamas Harry and Dobby for other students/other house elves. If Graves wasn't so rare I'd have got another. For S2, apart from Neville for and extra MBOM and student torso, I don't think I'll bother. The butterbeer glass and sword of Gryffindor are the only other pieces I'd like more of (the sword for something other than HP).

He's called Bem I really like the coach driver!

Thanks, colourblind here. What an odd choice.

Not sure, 50/50

Sorry, have I read right that these Lockhart robes are not included?
-
There should have been an Arthur Weasley figure, otherwise a good line up of figures for the shops we know are included.
-
I'm on holiday today until Friday. From past experience sets get revealed when I'm away. Good luck, everyone.
-
WWW will, Flourish and Blotts and Ollivander's have the same layout with a mezzanine level I think will be included. I have a feeling QQS and Scribbulus may have rooms to rent above them which may be included. I'll check the DA featurette later and see which shops have the rooms. Otherwise they could just have store rooms above.

I did a post on this a while back, its a very handy map based on the Alley's appearance in CoS. The set on the Google street view is from the later films :)
-
I've just realised two things about the stickers, apologies if they've already been mentioned. 1. We can't see the edge of sheet C, so there is a chance some more stickers are on that sheet. 2. There is no sign for Flourish and Blotts above the shopfront window like there is for Ollivanders and Scribbulus. It has the same shopfront profile as the ice cream parlour (slightly curved bay windows) so could it be possible that these pieces can be printed, whereas the curved pieces on Ollivanders windows cannot?
-
So, the list of confirmed shop fronts is Ollivanders, Scribbulus, QQS, WWW, Daily Prophet Offices, Flourish and Blotts with Fortescue's and Leaky Cauldron stickers, but no signs for either. A list (of so) far missing shops: Gringotts Madam Malkins Robes for All Occasions Eeylops Owl Imporium Magical Menagerie Potages Cauldrons Mr Mulpepper Apothecary Slugg and Jiggers Apothecary Wiseacres Wizarding Equipment As well as Gambol and Japes Joke Shop, Sugarplum's Sweet Shop, Cranville Quincy's Magical Junk Shop, Broomstix and the 2nd Hand book shop, which are all off the main Alley between LC and Gringotts, or are similar to other more important shops.
