  1. I used the Will Turner piece for both, I painted one Tan for Yaxley. I still think this is the best piece for both, as they both have low hanging ponytails rather than one half way up the head as Kanan's hairpiece does. During the Battle of Hogwarts and a few other scenes, from the front Scabior has messier hair so does look a bit like Sirius', but I think the Will Turner piece is still the nearest. I read Scabior has a red streak in his hair (I'm colourblind and can't see it) which is why I mentioned a new print for him. True, Scabior's hair looks exactly the same as Wormtails and Snapes. And Tonks. And Ron
  2. For DH villains they fall into three rough tiers IMO. Main characters: Voldemort, Bellatrix, Draco, Lucius, Narcissa Limited screen time: Yaxley, Scabior, Greyback, Thicknesse Minor: Carrows, Rowle, Dolohov All the main characters seem likely, either in a Malfoy Manor or Battle of Hogwarts set, apart from Narcissa's hair possibly, only new prints would be needed. The characters from the second tier could also appear in at least two possible sets, and only Yaxley and Scabior would need recoloured hair pieces. The third tier are possible, but compared to the other bad guys are not very recognisable. Still, only new torso prints needed here, as face prints and hair pieces all already available.
  3. No, me neither, but the $250 price point seems too high for a three story building and a dragon to me, but we'll see. Sounds painful.
  4. Do you think that from your insider goss or is it speculation? And at D2C there would surely be more builds than just Gringotts right?
  5. If Deathly Hallows Gringotts was in the $130 range as we're hoping/expecting, about 10 minifigures would be about right. The Great Hall had 10 for $100, but didn't have a potential dragon. Half of those in the Great Hall had short legs like the Goblins will probably have though. The trio, Griphook (new face print and probably no printed arms) and Bogrod are most likely, perhaps with a couple of human Gringotts Guards which wouldn't require any new molds. The rest of the figures could be other Goblins, hopefully one could be based on Griphook for PS, but doesn't need to be named, and the Goblin from PS who allows Harry and Hagrid entry to the vaults. That way we'd get the Goblin hair in white, light grey and dark brown to add variety. Add a black or brown or dark tan piece in as well and that'd be incredible.
  6. As much as I'd love the other side of the street, I'm also sceptical there would be demand enough for those shops. However to say the interiors are a mystery isn't strictly true. We know the interiors of Wiseacre's, Slug and Jigger's, and Mulpepper's, with Potage's, Eyelop's, and the Menagerie being kind of obvious and getting a little look inside. Malkin's is a bit more unclear what the interior looks like, although we do get a few glimpses. I haven't finished the map I'm making of the signs, but there are lots of opportunities to fill in the top level of the street too, with J. Pippin's Potions above Malkin's, Brews and Stews above Wiseacre's and Peter Boat's above Mulpepper's and a few more I've yet to figure out the placement of. So quite a lot of interiors are know, like the Palmist above Scribbulus. Unless one of Gringotts, the Leaky Cauldron or Borgin and Burke's were to be included I don't know if there would be enough to make people fork out, much as I'd love all those shops. Another thing is minifigures. If you're spending hundreds of pounds you'd want a few good exclusive minifigures. For the shops on the other side of Diagon Alley, only Wiseacres (or an employee) is very briefly seen in CoS as far as I know. Aside from Arthur, Percy, Fred and George the characters from the first two films are all in DA. I think B&B and Gringotts are best left as their own sets, so including The Leaky Cauldron with Harry, Hermione and the Wesley's from PoA may work alongside Tom and a few other denizens.
  7. Voted for Pirates, Imperials and Adventurers, although I'd love to see almost all of those themes. No Bionicle though...

    Pirates 2021

The alien has leaked and is a nice looking figure in a strange capsule with a handle and lots of 2x2 tiles with bright graffiti like designs on. If the pirate one is the same, but with a Pirate themed capsule, that'd be good. I think, based on what looks like the robot figure which has leaked, that the designs might have music designs like treble clefs and musical notes printed on them which may make them less use able.
  9. First of all with Seamus I changed his hair, the spiky part only looks right when he's blown something up. I use either the hair for Oliver Wood or the standard male hair in reddish brown. If the Will Byers hair from Stranger Things was available in reddish brown that'd be brilliant for PS/CoS Seamus. When I changed the hair lots of faces looked better for him. I think I have the Han Solo face from 2006-11 at the moment as the small smile, brown eyebrows and lack of freckles/lines was what I was after. I completely agree. It makes the Malfoys look slightly friendlier to have the same hair colour as Luna for example. So far in the reboot Draco's two hair pieces are available in Tan, just have to hope Lucius' will be available one day, and if we get a new Narcissa, her hairpiece doesn't use Bright Light Yellow highlights.
  10. I don't see either Godric's Hollow or the Inferi Cave being much of a problem, Lego has tackled darker/as dark things before (PotC Cannibal Escape - cannibalism, cages made out of their friend's bones, being cooked alive being a prime example). I just checked the scene and it'd be a new Dumbledore torso print which I am all in favour of too. I doubt there would be a specific Regulus figure though.
  11. Kreacher? Do you mean Winky, who wasn't in the films? I don't see the point in a WC set to be honest, no really interesting figures and we hopefully will get the tent for DHI.
  12. To be fair to that list it did have three further sets on it listed as 'Unknown' which could be DamH sets... Nah, still nonsense
  13. Absolutely. The only thing on that list that excites is the possibility of a DA expansion. The rest is either too expensive (Cave) or too cheap (Gringotts) or too obscure (World Cup) to be believable. Weird list.
  14. Yeah that list looks rough if you want DH sets
  15. To an extent I agree with you, GoF is my least favourite film by far and it has been well covered so far. In terms of scenes only really the Lake Task/Ship haven't been covered, as I doubt the Riddle House or Courtroom scene would be made into sets. The Ship and Lake Task sets would give variety to the theme - an underwater set and a boat is rather different to another part of Hogwarts (5 sets), Forbidden Forest (3 sets), Carriages (2 sets) and Houses (2 sets, or 3 if you include Hagrid's). More of all of those categories are likely, but another ship and underwater set are not. It's the film with the most single-film characters though, apart from maybe the final one. Cedric, Amos, Crouch Jnr, Crouch Snr, Karkaroff, Maxime, Gabrielle, Krum, Rita all have their main/only appearance in this film. As there isn't a lot of GoF material left to cover, I think people are eager to make sure the entire cast is available, hence the want for these particular sets. Obviously the CMS may come to our rescue if/when there is a S3. I am excited to see more OotP onwards sets though.
  16. I'm really not bothered about The Mandalorian, but I'd definitely get the ITT and Light Cruiser. If the Meditation Chamber gets a proper release and does have the Admiral figure it's rumoured to have than that'd be incredible, I'd have to get an extra Admiral torso for Piett/Ozzel though. Is the May the 4th rumour nonsense? Only seen it posted once - the Lars Homestead.
  17. I suppose the problem with a possible ship/second task set (or two sets) is how to spread out the minifigures and the three builds. The Ship The Stand The Merpeople Village Is it best to do all three parts in one set, or split it into two sets? For the Second Task figures: Four Champions (all new torsos and legs, new face prints for Harry's gills and Fleur and Cedric's bubble head charms, new shark head mold for Krum) Four Prizes (new asleep face print for Ron, Hermione and Cho, new Ravenclaw Robes for Cho, new torso print for Gabrielle) Judges (new torso and legs for Dumbledore and Maxime, all new Karkaroff and Crouch) Students (Ginny, Neville, Seamus, Dean, Nigel, Malfoy) Rita (should be in the blue Lake task outfit but if they subbed in the more famous green one I don't think many would complain) Photographer Also there but already a figure - Moody, Flitwick, Fred, George, Hagrid Crabbe and Goyle are there too, but their outfits are just dull black ones, so not ideal! But for the Durmstrang Ship only really Krum, Karkaroff and perhaps Karkaroff's aide in their arrival gear would be appropriate, but obviously a few of the Second Task figures could migrate over.
  18. The last two Pirate ships that used the preformed pieces had RRPs of $99.99 (The Brick Bounty, 2015, 711 parts) and $199.99 (Barracuda Bay, 2020, 2,498 parts) so $129.99 with 1,176 parts for a licenced set would seem about right for the Durmstrang Ship. If it is the Durmstrang Ship it'd be far more likely to be similar in size to TBB as well.
  19. I've got no idea about set numbers, I was referring Guyon2002 saying the 2021 wave costs $930, and if they were all regular HP sets rather than something a bit different
  20. You and me both! I've got to say though, this line is so good, and apparently popular, that I'm not rushing to get sets all at once and can spread the cost out, something I couldn't do with Star Wars for example. As far as you know are all those 2021 sets normal sets and not something like part of the Art line?
  21. Not sure, I added Diagon Alley to my cart and both the GWP and ice Rink appeared in my cart :)
  22. In the UK it looks like you get MBOM and the Ice Rink set.
  23. Luna's hairpiece is still unique to her, I just found out Harry's has been reused in a promo set though. My point wasn't that their should be a new mold, but that there are almost perfect pieces already, but are slightly off, which is frustrating :D
  24. The light parts of her hair are the same tone as Lucius and Draco, but bright light yellow might be a bit extreme, should be tan in my opinion. The dark part of her hair should be reddish brown, but as we know some characters like Harry and Bellatrix should by rights have dark brown hair pieces, but they just look wrong and so black is more appropriate. Narcissa has two distinct hair styles, HBP (Knockturn Alley and Spinner's End) and DHII (Malfoy Manor, Battle of Hogwarts, Forbidden Forest). Annoyingly three Star Wars figures - Qui-Gon, Ki'ra and Rey Ep8 - have hairpieces which are almost correct, but not quite close enough!
  25. That black suit isn't unique to the Slug Club though, it could also come in various other sets. I skipped Sanguini in my list as well as his friend Walpole, the photographer Adrian and the Carrow twins as they're all non speaking roles. Your mention of Ginny made me think of Marcus Belby though as he was at the first meeting :)
