  1. maybe you should add some fog to the last one?
  2. did you buy the blacktron parts on bricklink, or are most of them coming from sets you bought? I mean, there are several , not so cheap parts from the blacktron theme in there and i can't imagine bricklink having so many items of those specific parts, like the trans yellow canopies, the panels and walls with the blacktron markings...
  3. nope... not that i know of anyway...
  4. what's the naboo fighter? is that the one in ep1, with ani in there? what on earth is MTT?
  5. And what about those 4 new creators sets (set n
  6. great! so we'll get something like this: cement mixer and: garbage truck
  7. ah! finally some one who does not vote for the cruiser! :-P i almost thought this poll was all for nothing :-X yeah... those reviews of yours.... yeah... kinda like Loch Ness... everybody talks about them, but no one has ever seen them.... :-P
  8. And what about those 4 new creators sets (set n
  9. can anybody explain what a yellow train station is doing in a what almost looks like a space scenery? :-X I'm guessing they had a tube left fom the days of the space monorails or so, but honestly, the cover of the set is completely ruined by it! >:-( i only had 7822 and 7824. both were fantastic... for the early 80's that is... the electric lights were just great, the bridge was a real cool feature! sure, it all looks a bit primitive now, but they still give a realistic view of a small station...
  10. this is great news! 8-
  11. it seems we have a problem to post polls in this forum, so if you want to post a poll, just set it up in another forum and ask a staff member to move it
  12. oh well..; so now that we have a thread on all these things: 1) can you post a pic of this lamination? I know what you're talking about, but I don't seem to find/recognise it in shops; the same with waterbased decals, i'd use those, but I can't find them either... maybe in a shop that sells model kits... 2) i'm wondering about the colours of the stickers. usually i get transparent stickers on coloured bricks and very often that coloured background screws up the colours. had that before? 3) i'm wondering how thick your sticker is. i had to go through quite a lot of trouble to find more or less acceptable stickers in terms of thickness...
  13. if i'm not mistaken we, europeans, had to wait two years before getting a second series, so perhaps we'll see the next series only in 2008.
  14. i'd say the worst thing is to place it somewhere, even if you have a legoroom. it's seems fairly large to just 'put it underneath the table' or something. in any case, he must be able to buy a serious blacktron fleet with those bricks!
  15. it's not bad, but i've seen better stuff, though... i guess it's nice to have a real model and the same thing rendered via specific software, but honestly, i'm kinda getting tired of uploading all sorts of software applications i'd hardly use anyway...
  16. no lego bricks at Disneyland Paris i'm afraid...
  17. i feel they've gone a bit too far with the playability aspect. sure, these small balls are quite cool on the box but in real life they look a bit... well... like an ordinary plastic ball... do you guys really see this fire mechanism as an improvement to the line?
  18. i'm not a bionicle fan, but i was really impressed when they were first released in 2001; there was a really good back story to it and the figures were just great! 8-
  19. hm... i know what you mean... lego could build a large set, even this size... for that, i'd replace the pilares by 4x4 cylinders, add a few parts you can find in the crane, a few large plates and lots of greebs... should be doable... but then there's the Lego Company... hm... i wonder ... an oil platform or a new police station... g... what would hey pick? :-|
  20. maybe i'll take the train to aachen this month or the next, depending on a few other things. which shop is it?
  21. we always went camping in July when I was young. My birthday is in august, so July was most of all a moment to think very hard about what to ask the family. In 1982 or so I had my heart set on Lego's space station when we went to see a film at the local cinema. it was the 'Pirate crimson' it seems, I only new this one with the dutch title: 'de Rode Zeeschuimer' , anyway, when i left the cinema, i'd changed my mind about the birthday present: no lego Space station :-X , but a playmobil pirate ship! X-O
  22. welcome! well, i guess one of the differences between lego and playmo is that we hardly have females on our boards... yeah... we're kinda like the Ents of the old forest... We're looking for females all the time , but find very few... it's very unfortunate, but feel free to go and get a few others from the playmo boards if you will :-P still, i think harry potter is the theme that seems to attract females the most, so maybe if Lego were to produce a bit more HP sets... *sweet*
