  1. yes we do remember this one... it even used to be an official set in the catalogue, however, our City Mayor will tell you it's an old 'City' theme, not space...
  2. It started as a rumour not so long ago, but it's been confirmed now by ambassador Ben over at Classic Castle (isn't that hilarious? a castle dude confirming space sets? :-P ) ; Lego will release new sets of our beloved space theme in 2007!! No word on details/actual theme/... just yet. We'll get more news at one point though. We can only hope that the space ambassadors have had a serious input, then my guess is we'll be getting great stuff!! 8-
  3. bought the calender last week in a regular shop, still, i was under the impression that is was a Shop@home thing. Yep i did open it, meaning, opened the side of the box, got the plastic box with the lego parts out and sorted them... I'm gonna put the box with the print somewhere in the house at Christmas, though...
  4. it seems to me that they just sent the mail to sw and city fans...
  5. maybe you can explain to us how the Lego Company deals with toy shops, if you're allowed to, that is. I mean, in many cases, you, as a shop owner, just order the sets you want to sell in your shop, but it seems Lego has a different arrangement with the toy shops
  6. i meant the geographic area... i mean, if production takes place outside of the EU and US than who's paying for the import taxes? ;-) and does it go to your national Lego HQ first so you would only have to pay your national postage, or does it come from where ever they're producing the parts?
  7. what about postage - shipping? where do they gather the parts and send the lot to you? in the end, i guess, it's just another option for us to get parts. it's now up to the fan to find the best deal...
  8. congratulations to .... us! :-) it seems we passed the 100.000th post yesterday or last night so who posted that one?
  9. what puzzles me is why we always get yellow cars *wacko* boys like blue, girls like yellow... that's how it's always been, don't see any reason why that would be the other way around these days... if the 'aged 8-12 boy' is their main target then i think it's time some one tells them their cars are supposed to be blue...
  10. that house is really great, even though it's hardly anything really different to the last one :-$ the f-14... hm... aren't these guys a bit late with that model? the type is almost completely phased out from active duty... :-| the yellow car doesn't look very interesting to me :-/ the smaller sets look like classic pods without the plastic box... :-X :'-( g... the only thing i really need X-D
  11. this is fantastic! 8-
  12. if you're asking me, all these windows are normally put together; those parts are rather flexible, so you give it curve if you push up the middle and fix both ends with hinges as he did
  13. thanks for posting this. it's a great train station 8-
  14. what I find weird is that all these sw fans like or dislike the ILC, but none seems to mention the catapult! most defenitely not part of the actual model in the film! in fact, if this were in a city theme or a 'rome' theme, we'd go nuts, but now nobody seems to mind in this case...
  15. yep, next to the point that you now don't have to be bothered with box designs, you just order what you want, end of story
  16. building models is part of playing, so i guess i'm playing with Lego, just as an artist is playing an instrument, but because Lego is considered to be a toy, it seems you're not supposed to... play with Lego. yeah... our fight to be accepted as normal individuals with our own place in society is long from over :-P :-X
  17. in that case, i'd ask jipay or apo, they are root admins here
  18. no problem! i'll test them! just send them to me! i'll take care of it! Free of charge! :-P hm... not sure if that would be much better for Lego though... :-|
  19. no that's just for the art or for the model on your pc. it refers to the classic steam engine i guess
  20. it think they basically made the parts of the Factory' available, it's not a large selection of parts. however, this has got to be a good selection for train fans. i just checked the prices for a few parts that i 'm interested in, and it seems they're more or less in line with the average price on bl. the good thing is that you can buy fairly large quantities, the stuff is new and you only have to browse one shop...
  21. bought the advent calender today *wub* the inside printing is very nice! 8-
  22. we have one of the last seasons running here (think it's season 9), and i'd have to say, without the originel cast or at least o'neill , the show has lost quite a lot of its charm. 'atlantis' is completely lost on me... i bought season 3 last week, that seems pretty good; on average, a lot better than all star trek seasons anyway, except perhaps for the last few Star trek Voyager seasons...
  23. welcome *sweet* there are some pretty great details on your layout! love that shot with the engines and the watertank 8-
  24. what i do like about the station is the lavatory at the side, and sure, the garage doors deserve a warm welcome *sweet* ; i was also hoping for some new minifig heads, but they look just like the older ones :'-) ... hm... maybe i will be the station, if it's not too expensive...
