Lego BrickHeadz 2018 - Rumors & Discussion
badbob001 replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
Do they normally also sell these 'exclusives' at LEGO stores / shop@home? All my closest Barnes and Nobles have closed down. -
Wow, have we seen so many white round 2x2 bricks since classic space?

That's a great idea! I haven't used LDD in a while and totally forgot about doing my mods in it first.

Is there a website where you can select a range of pages from a set's instruction book and have it generate you a list of parts, preferably easily importable into bricklink? I know bricklink has inventory lists of most sets, but lets say I only want to part out a subset of the set. For a large set, it's rather tedious and error-prone to go through the instructions and audit the needed parts.

In the teaser video, Sam is shown with hair so I hope the set comes with hair as well. In fact, I want all three characters to have both their hair and helmets, but I bet they will cheap out for the 'girl'. Please let tron have his tron face and not an unprinted head.

Note that Tron/Rinzler has two disks on his back, but I suspect the bottom disk is just a regular 2x2 round plate. I thought they would use those ring weapons found in the Black Panther sets, but I'm ok if the 2x2 tile is printed nicely. Now, if Quorra had her car, then it'll seem less weird than having her just hanging out on the light cycle grid. Then the set will be similar to this one:

Lego Pods round plate: is it removable?
badbob001 replied to badbob001's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Got it. Just put a 2x2 plate on the edge of the round plate next to the hinge side because that has the most room. Then wedge your thumb into the space next to the 2x2 plate and basically try to get the 2x2 plate off. The round plate should come off with it. Thanks! -
Lego Pods round plate: is it removable?

Do you suggest I leverage it out from the edge or the center hole? Did you use any tools? -
Lego BrickHeadz 2018 - Rumors & Discussion
badbob001 replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
My guess is that it'll be something milked from LEGO's existing relationship with Disney. From that, they already got Marvel and Star Wars, so only major thing left is the core disney animation IP. So perhaps something like Mickey Mouse or characters from The Incredibles. -
For the few LEGO Pod sets, can the round plate behind the cover be easily removed? That is, is it glued on or is it just snapped in? I think the 1x2 plate on the right side of the pod glued on but I'm not sure about the round plate since it can wiggle a bit. But maybe it's glued to another piece that fastens it to the cover.

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion

Isn't that the original premise of the modular series? Just buy a whole bunch of them (or just get the parts for the middle floors). -
Voltron & Ship in Bottle IDEAS approved

Do you think for $199, the voltron set could include minifigures from each lion? -
Lego BrickHeadz 2018 - Rumors & Discussion

I found the info I needed from here: https://www.coleka.com/en/lego/lego-brickheadz_r580 and other sources to make this list: 40 - Han Solo 39 - Chewbacca 38 - Gamora 37 - Star Lord 36 - Thanos 35 - Iron Man MK50 34 - Mrs Claus 33- Mr Claus 32 - Turkey 31 - Witch 30 - Easter Bunny 29 - Valentine's Bee 27 & 28 - Boba Fett & Han Solo in Carbonite 26 - Kylo Ren 25 - Rey 24 - Cyborg 23 - Aquaman 22 - Wonder Woman 21 - The Flash 20 - Captain Phasma 19 - Finn 18 - Master Wu 17 - Lloyd 15 & 16 - Spider-Man & Venom 13 & 14 - Supergirl & Martian Manhunter 12 - Beast 11 - Belle 10 - Captain Armando Salazar 09 - Captain Jack Sparrow 08 - The Hulk 07 - Black Widow 06 - Iron Man 05 - Captain America 04 - The Joker 03 - Robin 02 - Batgirl 01 - Batman XX - Black Panther & Doctor Strange XX - Iron Man & Captain America XX - Batman & The Joker XX - Superman & Wonder Woman So the four SDCC brickheadz-preview double sets are not included in the numbering system, but the 3 following SDCC double sets are. It just seems so weird that LEGO would make the release number so prominent on the packaging and yet offer no online/offline way to look at the collection. If you go to the LEGO brickheadz site, it'll just show the latest 8 sets with DC and Star Wars. Won't the general public wonder why they can never find release 13 - 16 and 27 - 28? Why even make the SDCC sets a part of the same release numbering system if almost no one can get them? -
Lego BrickHeadz 2018 - Rumors & Discussion
badbob001 replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
Is there a listing or database of Brickheadz that uses the release number in the lower-right corner of the boxes? I'm not talking about the normal LEGO set number. For example, the season bee set has a release number of 29. There were some releases that didn't have this release number so I wanted to see if these sets are skipped or included in the numbering order. -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 18 Rumors and Discussion
badbob001 replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I'm not sure if we know the bag color of this series, but I would love the plate have some way to indicate the series that it is for, either by color (ideally matching bag color) and/or a print (like batman series 2 or brickheadz). For my current CFM display, I add plates under the black baseplate that closely matches the color of that series. This way, if I ever take out a figure from the display or mix up figure from different series, I have an easy way to quickly return each figure back to its series. I don't think they have repeat the same bag color yet for the main CMF series, but for the sub-series (the licensed ones) and repeats, they can just put a logo or number there. I know you hate the logo but you can either turn the plate around or bricklink a ton of the generic black ones. -
Does the lack of a detailed description of the Ninjago City Dock imply that it wasn't shown at all at the toy fair, either physically or a as photo, and at most was only mentioned on during a presentation in the form of some bullet points on a slide?

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion

That may be true, but I also don't think it's random chance that the pin placement is 100% modular compatible. -

Regarding the current Rey + Ren Collector's Pack, that is exclusive to Target, will it be broken up to separate normal sets? I would hate to wait and then to find out that the pack was my only chance to get those figures. -

Regarding the red mailbox in the DD: Post Office Confirmed for 2019! -
Not sure about online, but at the store, you will see the starter kit with a sticker on the box displaying aquaman. I don't know if aquaman is actually in the box or if they just put the sticker there and then give you aquaman separately at checkout.

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion

While I don't consider Market Street to be good enough for me to get, it is considered part of the modular building timeline. Have we forgotten these photos already? -
I've collected all the sets but am waiting to get a console to finally play them. Regarding the emulated arcade games in the midway pack, are the originally multi-player games, like gauntlet, limited to one or possibly two players? If so, then if I want to have 3-4 players, then I'm limited to the season 2 battle arenas?

When I think of art deco buildings, I think of miami beach. So shirtless man next to beach is ok with me. We can even stick the fun-at-the-beach set in front of this. -

They will issue a press release once SWAT has secured the leaker. Any moment now...
