FM Note: Welcome to the Fields of Glory! Wedge09, I went back to see what enemies you had favored in your past Quests; in the future, please remember that the enemy types a Hunter Favors persists across Quests until changed, so it should be listed in your Hero Stats page. Fred Daniel Yam, William is listed as wearing four Artifacts, but he can only equip three at his level; please indicate which Artifact you would like to un-equip. Fixed Everyone else: please check your stats, conclude any Marketplace purchases, and decide where you'd like to travel first!
  3. OOC: Oh, right, I should probably list what the Love Potion does.
  4. Oh, believe me, there were Endgame code artifacts everywhere, but what you're seeing there is twenty code tags surrounding the opening of a spoiler for Warlen's "recent trades" section. I actually couldn't even figure out what it was until I finished cleaning the tags. If it makes you feel better, though, Siercon's stats are just outright making me cry.
  5. Today on Utter Abominations of Coding I'd Hoped Never To See Again:
  6. QM Note: I'll run once I have actions for Boris and Kheyli.
  7. Ahh, that's unfortunate. Well, for now I can hopefully get the point lighting to work, so there's that. Out of curiosity, have you had a chance to experiment with how translucent pieces interact with lights and shadows? I know I had a lot of fun with colored shadows in LDD2POV-Ray, I'd love to be able to play with it some more in Bluerender.
  8. Err--correct me if I'm wrong, but don't LEGO set designers use an internal version of LDD to aid them in set design? If that's the case, I don't see why they wouldn't continue support for the software--neither Worlds nor Dimensions can fill the necessary niche internally, and given how easy it is for them to push internal LDD updates to external as appropriate, I see no reason why they'd stop. Like I said, I could be wrong, but I really hope I'm not.
  9. Really looking forward to the finale of Q130--I've really enjoyed watching it so far, and am more than a little invested in the characters, so it'll be great to see things finally play out. Fields Party: Some of your stats are taking longer than expected to clean (blame the rich-text editor, and Endgame your previous QMs for not switching to plain-text mode ). I'll try to get the Fields party listing posted as soon as I've run the next Round of 141, but if there's a delay, you now know why.
  10. Yeah, this is why I brought up 118, actually. In hindsight, how much cooler and more fun would it have been for you if I'd told the four of you (and only the four of you!) about the switch, and then had the real Heroes in a PM side-Quest the whole time? Sure, it would have robbed the four of you of the surprise of the twist, but not only would the audience have still been surprised, but you as players would have had a ton of opportunity to drop hints and create foreshadowing to make the moment of revelation even more powerful. I had three very experienced QMs on that Quest, and I really wish I'd taken the opportunity to lean on your roleplaying and storytelling skills more; by collaborating with you rather than just stringing you along, it would have crafted a more engaging experience for you four as well as a more entertaining narrative for everyone else. All of you are great at player-character separation (even better than me, I must admit ), so in hindsight I realized you could have more than handled the duality of playing characters that needed to not know something you as players already knew.
  11. Arthur is rattled by the Pongcanis' raging roar. His fingers go again for the bottle, but again he restrains himself-- "<Arthur!>" Miirym calls loudly. The Dragoon looks to his charge. She nods to him. He nods back in understanding. As he turns back to the fight, Arthur whips around suddenly, smashing a bottle of Love Potion into the face of Sven's Champion from the Front Row.
  12. The default format Sandy provides in the first post of Hero Statistics is best. RE: Trading, I'd prefer you do it in the FoG thread, so it's easier for me to track whose stuff is whose at the end.
  13. Chosen Heroes for Unlimited Quest: Fields of Glory Avalanche, Level 13.5 Barbarian (Dragonfire) Warlen Melimane, Level 18.5 Mystic Knight (The Chosen Minifigure) Siercon, Level 18 Battle Mage (Siercon and Coral) Erik Tyrvarr, level 25 Battle Mage (Myrddyn) William Harkenshire, Level 21.6 Warden (Fred Daniel Yam) Alexander Vandangant, Level 26.6 Hunter (Wedge09) FM Note: Go ahead and make any desired Marketplace purchases, I'll get your stats typed up and posted sometime tomorrow.
  14. Having bit of a rough day/week, I'll handle them when I can.
  15. OOC: Arthur's SP should be an even 50: 15+(11*2=22)+(6*2=12)+1 (Unicorn Helmet)=50. Arthur's hand twitches to go for a particular bottle, but he stays his hand, instead opting to consume the Ambrosia from the Hollow Blade of the Duplovian Swift Halberd before attacking Sven's Champion with it from the Back Row. Miirym sees this twitch, and immediately goes to Emperor Phil and Vipera, trying to help Arthur the only way in which she was allowed. "What is Dastan's belief towards poisons and potions and other non-traditional items? Is this meant as a contest of strength alone, or skill as well?" she queries quickly.
  16. Well, I mean, there are four of the flame pieces in translucent orange...unless the brick matrix value refers to a specific instance of a given brick, rather than all bricks of a given shape? Where in the LXFML can the brick matrix value be found? (Thus far I've been searching by material type and then using trial and error to see if I've found the brick I'm looking for.) (Sorry if I'm seeming dense, I'm still not 100% familiar with everything in the LXF and LXFML files. )
  17. Whatever y'all did to tick off Random.org, I highly suggest you make amends for it...and fast. (@Q141)
  18. Round 6 of Forest Fighting Frenzy Jinnipher vs. Baby Battle Ant Mob - Miss >Terry (Ice) vs. Baby Crimson Scorpion - Spell (Baby Crimson Scorpion: 10+6=16*2*2=64 damage; Terry: -1 Ether) Boris vs. Baby Battle Ant Mob - Critical Hit (Baby Battle Ant Mob: 3*2=6+8=14 damage) Torald does nothing (Bound) >Ezeran (Wood) vs. Baby Crimson Scorpion - Special Damage (Crimson Curse - Ezeran: Cursed...again ) Kheyli vs. Itsy-Bitsy Spider - Miss Mac Inspires Ezeran - failure (roll of 3) Terry poisoned by 2: -2 health Ezeran cursed: -10% max health The battle continues to go slowly, with Jinnipher and Kheyli both missing and Torald too busy ripping through the cobwebs that bound him to actually fight. Terry lets off another spell, but this time its target still lives; nearby, Boris too almost kills an enemy, one of the battle ants barely hanging on for dear life. Poor Ezeran gets another mouthful of scorpion venom, this time in the symbiont's mouth rather than his human one...perhaps the two mouths had made for an easier target? Either way, the unlucky Mage is Cursed once more, while the party's other Mage also clings barely to life. Three enemies remain. 19. What is this "brick matrix value"? Thus far I've been using the brick position you can find by viewing the LXFML file in Notepad+, does this brick matrix value let me refer to the brick directly? Where is this value within the LXFML file, and is it affected by having multiple copies of the same piece in the model?
  20. Didn't Mhinak try to sell the party out to Latte, only to get attacked instead? Maybe I'm misremembering things. The point of "make sure they want you" still stands, though, I think--I'm pretty sure I remember Latte saying he didn't want anything to do with Mhinak.
  21. Yeah, to be honest the only reason I borrowed Hoke's MoG was so that Miirym can grow to her next phase IN Dastan, rather than after it. If we'd gone to Xu first, I would have just waited. Speaking of said next phase, here's a little preview...
  22. Oh, of course, I was only describing how I would handle it, using past scenarios in 53 and 136 as an example; I didn't mean to imply I was speaking for anyone else.
  23. I would recommend contacting Jamesster, one of the best LU experts I know. Since you're new here, you'll need to reach 10 posts before you can use the PM system, but once you're there I'm sure he'll be able to help you out (or at least point you to someone who can ).
  24. I'm having a little trouble with spherical lights. Basically, I want to put the lights inside the flame pieces so that the torches appear to be the light sources for the scene; however, no matter what settings I tweak, I always get this unsightly white circle, which is fantastic for helping me put the light where I want it, but not so great for an actual finished image: Juvenile Miirym v4.lxf by Poochythegenius, on Flickr Can someone please help me figure out how to turn that white circle on and off? (I've already tried reducing the light radius and then increasing the radiance to compensate, but no matter how high I push the radiance it doesn't illuminate the scene properly.)
