Although we don't agree with the claims you make on the Wither(ed) Woods, I have to say that it is nicely build! Great job on trying a new lay-out for the base! And great palm trees Also very nice looking army!

The face of the herder is indeed epic!!! Also a very nice bush you made there!

Yup, also: the proof: first of all the maps: http://images.wikia....phlin-map-5.jpg http://images.wikia..../Avalonia2a.jpg (also note that the Oil Road doesn't go through the Withered Woods, but is in fact the road between Barqa & Qarkyr) Also the name's and first claims: http://www.eurobrick...ic=62115&st=200 (Kaliphlin, 22 November 2011) edit: And of course the wikia: http://guildsofhistorica.wikia.com/wiki/Kaliphlin_Geography -

Yeeey, 3 in a row... Where is everyone here? Anyway, aren't the Withered Woods a part of Kaliphlin? I am referring to the MOC of CBB where he says that his knights doesn't let anyone of Kaliphlin in those woods... Which I see as an Avalonian act of War against us then by claiming our lands... -
Indeed very nice rockwork!!! the bones give it already a very dark atmosphere! So good job!

Thanks! Normally it is just meant as prelude for the Chapter III of the Quest of the Alleenridders (Chapter III will be the battle of Mpya Stedor) And I will see Chapter III as a prelude for the Challenge VI entry (because it is way to big to count as a valid MOC-entry). But probably I will use the MOC of Chapter III to start my challenge VI entry as well (but with a different minifigure set-up as it would take place after the battle is over)

The thing I like the most is how you could make a story without even moving the minifigures, only just moving the camera! The Phoenix Guards are really well hidden! Only the last picture is somewhat strange as it looks like someone is about to do a "friendly-fire"

The march to Mpya Stedor, the march to destiny.
Maxim I replied to Niku's topic in Guilds of Historica
A very brute way to kill spies I love your wooden walls & the gate! Also a very nice stone tower on the rocks! [in story:] Too bad, while marching towards Mpya Stedor, they heard that the enemy was already to close to the city and that they never could arrive in time anymore if they march further by foot. So your heroic knight decided to send the soldiers to an ally of you in Avalonia so they can prepare with them the march to Albion. And your knight himself rode day & night towards Mpya Stedor. With a speed rarely seen! I can say that the knight has joined succesfully the bunch of knights riding with Lord Damaximus! (so you may give him a name etc. for future mentioning and he will be awarded with the title of Alleenridder as well if Lord Damaximus can reach Mpya Stedor in time!) (note: the reason why I had to give this twist to the story is because I put the dragon faction in the army of the enemy ) -

Strange that I see this Moc now for the first time... Really interesting story to read! Just like the most people here, I feared the worst in the beginning! But I am with Ska on this one too, Varlyrio can never tip the parties at Lost Vega! -
I like the idea However, good luck with crossing the desert with it if you ever plan to attack Kaliphlin edit: btw: Is that DG that I see?

Maybe it is indeed better that we all choose our own name for the fortress and that the winner of Chal VI will have chosen the official name -

Hahahaha was a long time ago when I saw that video  They picture how I see a real Avalonian perfectly (but without the muscles) -
Amazing gate!!!! (not as big as a common Kaliphlin gate, but for being Avalonian, this is big) Super effect on the waterfall!
-
Really great moc!! I like it how it rises out of the mountain!! Also great effect with the wooden structures!

Next teaser in my upcomming battle: (note, it is almost finished, I only have to make the mountain near the gate. This is also the reason why the new teaser is no picture ) One of the I.A.M.S. members could count the number of the soldiers in the army of Valharess and counted 305 men in total !!!! Around 7 mages are marching in this army, 25 (un)dead mounted knights, around 80 heavy dismounted knights and all the others are footsoldiers! Also 2 catapults and 1 ballista were counted! Still no sign about the location of Lord Damaximus , but we heard that while he is riding toward the city, some other knights are joining him! No sign of the reinforcements of Atlarka and Ximus neither. But luckily, some unexpected forces came to help us, sent by Varlyrio (11 soldiers) & Eastgate (50 archers (we miscalculated 20 men when they arrived...)) The clash will be expected around Wednesday -
Thx Ska (and the Kayne for responding) I have fabricated some siege machinery and replaced some minifigs Also, about the army and flag thing: My enemy has barbarians from Mitgardia, Peasants from Avalonia, Samurais & Ninjas from Kaliphlin, Monsters from Nocturnus, Pikemen from Avalonia, Skeletons from under the Rakath Mountains and so on and so on All with different flags and banners but the reason why I asked is because there has to be a flag of Revolword near Valharess in my eyes
-
3 new questions: Firstly: what are the colours of the banners of Victor? Personally I would choose for Black & White (black because he is evil and it is the colour of his clothes - white because of the white hand) 2nd: Do we all agree that for the upcomming battle-scenes, it is just a coincidence when an enemy army looks like the army of other members here at the forum? 3rd: Can an army besiege a city with wooden catapults etc... if the city is surrended by hundreds miles of desert? (so the closest place where they can find wood is some days walking) For my battlescene, I don't have so many siege machines (also, I don't have the place anymore )

If you have some trans clear 1x1 or 1x2 plates left, maybe you can incorporate them with the smoke. It would break it's uniformity and would accentuate it better. Also it would look then like the smoke is vanishing in the air after a while

Hahaha, this made me laugh for minutes! -
Wow, this really surprised me!!! And then considering that inflation isn't calculated! I have to agree on this, around the years 2000, you had really big sets for 60$, but it was full of holes and openings... Then I like much more the new smaller sets for the same price but which are full of details
