Great detailed tutorial! Especially the tips for the navysoldiers are great!

I really hope they'll continue with any Pirate theme (POTC or classics). PotC because the films are brilliant and it has nice complete sets with buildings (like London Escape). Classics because for the same amount of bricks, the price is much lower :D I think they'll do another year with Pirates, 3 or 4 new sets or sth like that and after that they can start with sets from the newest POTC movie. There are some ideas which would sell good: - Tortuga (some inn's and drunk pirates), - Swann's mansion, - blacksmith, - One of the imperial ships or an imperial fort, - The huge prison in the beginning of the second movie (I think) (they can make a set from it where JS needs to search for the key in that building and put some soldiers in it (with pirates being in prison), - ... Oh well, first of all, I'll have to wait till the Black Pearl hits the shelves here in Belgium :D

I enjoyed almost every picture of small details! The pirate stealing the gem and probably even escaping in time to avoid the confrontation inside the brothel :p

He certainly wrote some heavy stuff our Alex :p

Looks a bit like the TLC version of the Flying Dutchman is the little brother of the Scorpion's Soul :D I am pretty sure once you have built that ship in real life, your grand grand grand children will still enjoy it :D

Really good story! I am glad to see people can build MOC's without adding a smooth surface everywhere. You got a real (classic) lego feeling here! :D

Excellent photography of soldiers in the nature :D 2 bad for the lost Blue Coats (RIP). I lost some minifigs myself through the years and I know how it feels :( And about the flag, it's indeed the Andorrian flag :p I guessed first you were from Andorra, but now I know you aren't, it's a strange choice :D I'll have to design a flag as well because Flanders was a colony of Spain/Austria/France that periond so we had not really an army back then :(

The result of this test one will already be pretty heavy And as response to someone earlier: the legend of the Flying Dutchman is a legend which exists already for centuries. We learned about this legend way before the first PotC :D And needless to say it's indeed a Dutch ship :p

Really nice done! One day I'll make a vessel/frigate/ship of the line/... too, but first enjoying the nice pictures in this forum :D can't wait to see them both with sails and stuff!!!
