Like I already said, I gonna buy tons of those smaller sets! Does anyone knows what the price will be for them?

Amazing job you did with this lighthouse! I love the fact that it actually works Also, a very nice rockwork ! Only remark is maybe the water. But I know that water is a really dificult thing to make

Awesome castle SK!! But I fear you have to see a doctor soon as you are taking an overdose of Blizzard in your MOC's (absolutely not wrong ofcourse )

As I said, I still am not an expert in this (especially not in those puny grey boring looking Avalonian castles covered with moss and stuff) but, I would do it like this: - higher battlements - no windows on the outside of the castle (only exception is when it is located at least 3 levels high). Instead of windows, I would go for shooting holes (there are lot of nice technics for this) - some more rooms for the soldiers and for your sigfig himself. They don't need an interior, but it would be cool if they have one - I like how you made those wooden battlements, but same remark as for their nephews in stone: make them higher - Above the gate, put some battlements as it the gate itself is the weakest spot of a castle/fortress - I also would like to make the tower bigger and taller - a very beautifull and nice way to make your battlements come out is with those inverted slopes (like you have done on a few places), but with the slopes connected with eachother through arches. For a nice illustration, you have to check the last MOC of Ecc and look to the walls http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=79153 There are maybe some other things I can't think about right now, so I hope some other members will also help

You don't have to hurry up a proces that takes a certain amount of time I mean, I am already here for 1 year, and I am still nowhere near the level of Ecc and dG But I have to admit, I was the same like you one year ago, so nothing wrong with that There is only one build from that period I still am very proud about (my palace), but that is because I made first a desing in LDD and posted that on the forum. Based on the critics, I completely redesigned the whole building Of course there are some things I want to change now You have already improved a lot, that's certainly true  What I like the most is that it has a classic castle feeling A remark I have: - The battlements are kinda tiny, it is much better for the defenders if they were higher (so 2 studs + 2 studs (4 studs in total)) A question I have: do you have the bricks to make it bigger?

I start liking this new dragon heraldry. Red & Black were always my favourite colours and I love the metalic edges of the shield :) I still am not sure about the design of the dragon head on the heraldry (like I said earlier, for me, it looks like a prehistoric Squirel (see Ice Age)) In my opinion, this shield is way much better than those 2: - Troll shields - Skull shields btw, someone wined that the frightened knights were the last new type of heraldry, I think he forgot these ;)

[MOC] Fleet Mobilization (Lands of Classic Castle)
Maxim I replied to Disco86's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
A lot of nice use of the colours of Mitgardia Lenfald in your ship! Also nice job on the fine detailing But it is kinda to bad that the tree has the same colours :/ So my only remark would be: make a tree without the yellow :)- 9 replies

Wow, this was kinda surprising!! Looks like the Battle of Mpya Stedor was just a distraction so he could destroy the second biggest city of Mitgardia My condolences to Elon Chorian for the loss of his city, and we shall pray for the souls of all the soldiers who died! A lot of tragedy in this scene!! And like always, very nice execution of your ideas

Kaliphlin Guild: Homepage, Sign-up and Discussion
Maxim I replied to Si-MOCs's topic in Guilds of Historica
@NM: that script looks very usefull! :) I don't know why you are not surprised Even it is not really an open ending in my story, I think I can make some nice challenges out of my story for example: - Attack on Amenor (where members of all the 4 guilds can make a ship with an army they send to Amenor to help them against agressors => Some nice prices for the winner) - Embassy in the 4 Eastern guilds (or maybe 5 when you add Varlyrio too). In my eyes, the embassy challenge was one of the best challenges - Mpya Stedor Outer City: as it is the Imperial Capital, people from all Guilds are coming to work and live here. => 2 different challenges: (1: make a house for a character representing your own Guild) + (2: make a house for a character representing one of the 4 non Historica-Guilds or Varlyrion) - Rebellion of ??? (probably some Avalonian members) . After 4 months, tensions are to high and some Historica-members will probably revolt. You can join the rebellion or join the defenders of the Empire. With some fun game-rules, we will play a nice MOC based game (still have to work this completely out) so we can determine if I will stay Emperor or not -
I miss mushrooms in this scene... Anyway, I like your small stairs!

Kaliphlin Guild: Homepage, Sign-up and Discussion
Maxim I replied to Si-MOCs's topic in Guilds of Historica
@MoK: very interesting story! So if I am right, you will end chapter VI with an open ending, war between the members of the Guilds and a new power? @Masked Builder: I was looking for information, so I went to your first post and saw this: Your slaves were Avalonian right? @All: My story will consist of 3 mini-stories 1. A few thiefs will have to sneak in, in order to steal the helmet. This whole story will be a tribute of honour to a legendary movie 2. An I.A.M.S. member has the task to kill Victor Revolword in his tower 3. Lord Damaximus will besiege Cedrica with the help of some allies of him (Kaliphlin, Nocturnus, Avalonia, Mitgardia, Amenor, Atlarka, Drakrydar & Ximus (and probably Varlyrio as well, will depend what the plans are of MikeyB) The only problem I got so far is that I will have 2 or maybe even 3 interiors and only one exterior (about the last one). Yup indeed again with 4 eastern Guilds who aren't part of Historica (but are part of the Eilandica-continent). As some people may have noticed, I have put this note near my name in the GoH Character Location & Facts: "Keeper of the Alliance between Ximus, Amenor & Atlarka". That title gives me unlimited militaric and diplomatic powers in those Guilds, but no political and financial powers (as they are still independent Guilds). As I still see king Darconius responsible for all the losses we have, I think it is not more than normal that he has to take off his crown. Sadly enough, thanks to Victor's magic tricks and our siege of the capital, Cedrica has become one big ruined & razed city. So that means we will need to have a new (& powerfull) king & capital. Thanks to the diplomatic struggles between our 4 Guilds, no one will give someone from another Guild all the power. So there will 4 free Guilds again. Problem is, if there is nothing that unites them in one way or another, war will break out the moment someone winks... So my solution: Emperor Damaximus of the 8 Free Guilds Imperial Capital: Mpya Stedor (which lays relatively in the middle of the 8 Guilds) But, as I say: 8 free guilds, so I will have no political power at all! I will only have the power to defend the peace between every guild It is kinda based on the Holy Roman Empire, which had an emperor, but every state of the HRE had it's own king -
Very solid & nice looking fortress you made here!! I love the playability you created in this! Also great job on the tower & the roof of the guardhouse

Wow ska! Really wow! Everything you build in here looks so perfect The aquaduct, the little house, the crops, ... Really great job

Guilds of Historica Introduction/General Discussion Thread
Maxim I replied to I Scream Clone's topic in Guilds of Historica
Like Ska said, we have a very diverse looking army: the soldiers I used in "Changing Clothes" are in my eyes also very Kaliphlin looking (so the Crusaders & Black Falcon archers). I also have a neat army of Imperial Guards with an armada helmet on... Gabe for example uses the Black Falcon archers with an armada helmet on So you got a really big choice for us -
I have to agree with Kai, I am not quite sure about the wood (especially not as it just hangs on the wall) But that's the only remark I have, you made an excellent MOC

Mitgardia Garden Challenge: Sir Gunman Lurikeen's Fountain
Maxim I replied to Gunman's topic in Guilds of Historica
Haha, looks likes only Kaliphlins love beautifull gardens I love how you made the fontain and the brown branches leading to the pumpkin fantasy -
Nah man, no Avalonians in this challenge! We are not welcome in their puny capital as well... Anyway, you can choose which one of me you use: Evacuation in Mpya Stedor or Changing clothes

Maxim I replied to Sirens-of-Titan's topic in Guilds of Historica
@S-O-T: aaaaaaaaaah I am really sorry to hear that Thanks for the wonderfull moments you spend with us! But like they said in France: "Le roi est mort, vive le roi!" (traduction: the king is dead, long live the king!) So I hope (but I am pretty sure of that) that Ecc will run the Guild as good as you did once
