Maxim I replied to Derfel Cadarn's topic in Guilds of Historica
So sweet!!! The Avalonians are trying the fine art of poetry maybe there is hope that one day, they will not be culture barbarians anymore -
Hmmm suspicious But honestly, I think we all deserved that title. Also Gedren and Ska made a fabolous entry

I am sorting my bricks something like this: - plates : divided in 3 groups: tan + brown | dark tan | others - minifigs - accessoires, nicely divided considering their function. (a small box for crates, one for weapons, armour, ...) - bricks : if I got more than 100 of a certain brick, it got it's own box, otherwise it is divided by colour I am not sure about the quantity of my bricks. I think around 25K I really have (more than 10K of them are small 1x1 round plates). But most of them are in my city, so let's say I got between 5000 and 10000 bricks to make MOC's -
why?

FABULAND Month: Fabuland Gaming Hause
Maxim I replied to Peppermint_M's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Like Purpearljellyblob said: a very nice combination between fabuland and nowadays bricks! I am sure my (future) fabuland figs will spend a lot of their time in here -
It's hard to say what I like most as there are a lot of very excellent details in this!

Epic position of the minifigs!! Like I said in one of your previous MOC's, I love how you custom the minifigs You also created a very nice lay-out for the battle When they will arrive at Mpya Stedor, we will take care of them

We are not specialised in telescopes, that's more something for the PGTC. The golden goblets can be bought from our sister company, the MSGGC (however, I will not make a MOC about this ). Examples of these goblets can be seen in the palace - about the slave (only those with gloves on are real craftsman getting paid) with the shovel: I forgot to take a picture from the point of view where you could see the pillar of coal waiting to be thrown into the fire

@all: thanks for the nice comments I had 1000 of them and not so long ago I sold some of them (I still got plenty, but I do use them a lot in my MOC's), that's where I found the inspiration for that MOC. To be honest, I was really surprised how hard it was to make something like this. A lot of the pieces and tools they would use in real life are not really available in Lego or are really hard to make in minifig scale (for example the mold). But it was a nice challenge for myself Shame on me for that stupid grammatical mistake I have to admit I learned the proper way a few years back at high school, but I always forget it while conversating

New freebuild for us: I made some teasers for it in the past weeks, so enjoy the result: The Mpya Stedor Golden Window Company: link -
"Ow no!!!! I slammed the door too hard and now my windows are broken " "Where did you bought them?" "Somewhere in Avalonia I think' "I have one tip for you, buy new windows made in Mpya Stedor! They are the best quality you could wish!" "I heard a lot of good things about them, I really should try them!" The Mpya Stedor Golden Window Company, we brighten up your day! The windows are made from high quality gold from Amenor. In the past it came from Avalonia, but since some Avalonians (I am saying no names CBB) are blockading the traderoutes, we had to find a more valuable partner. What was not a bad thing as the quality is even better! How does it works? You can see it in here: Interested in our fine quality windows? Contact one of our traders or embassadors!! Thanks for viewing! C&C is welcome!! edit: The MSGWC is a part of MAESTRO and its windows can be bought in your local MUST-shop!

Nooooo! I will be just too late for something (it has something to do with the last but one picture) Anyway the whole MOC is really amazing! The gatehouse and walls are looking fabolous (and indeed very ancient) The repairing workers give it a very nice finishing touch! Also neat army coming out of the Gate And the background is fantastic! -
So much to love about the rocks and the water!! Also nice and surprising figs you used! It's really great to see how the Kaliphlin stories are stuck together!!
-
Nice MOC Kai!! I like the window, the floors and the fireplace!!!

Yey, an Avalonian less erm... We are very sorry to hear about the loss of your leader! We do hope that his brother will run the town of Tolswick as wise as William!

You need to be at least 16 before you may start drinking beer (in public events ) Heave liquor (like Wordka etc.) has a minimum age of 18 And a beer law is stupid, most of our beers are older than the state (of Belgium) itself (as Belgium was founded in 1830) -

That was a list of our most praised beers (I forgot Orval & Westmalle, shame on me). I didn't mentionned the less popular beers (like Maes, Kasteelbier, .... for example). I do have to admit that the German beers are not that bad (German is also known for their beers). And I really enjoyed them on my trip through Germany. But still, the best beers are from Belgium -

Hmm, I think I already forgot putting the guild colours in a MOC... Does a specific soldier counts as well??? Anyway, those Barbarians at the other Guilds... They don't know what real food & drinks have to taste like... -

Let's see: Cote D'or, Neuhaus, Leonidas, ... They are all founded in Belgium About the cheese, well, it's an hard one, because I really like Chimay, Maredsous, Breydel, ... (all Belgium), but the best cheeses are still French (Brie & Chaume) And about beer: Seriously, you are talking about something we Belgians even don't consider as a beer (that thing with raspberries is for girls)... Duvel, Leffe, Chimay, Grimbergen, Hoegaarden, Stella Artois, Jupiler, Tongerlo, Westvleteren, (edit:) Westmalle, (edit:) Orval, ...
