the only set i'd buy (for displaying purposes only) would be kenobi's and vader's duel from episode4. add a small background scenery (deathstar wall with the fancy ovoid lights) and you're done. instant goodness...

maybe I sounded harsh...on purpose. but your smily made it seem as you'd known all along...which would have made my comment look stupid. which I would have disliked. A lot. So peace my danish fellow...may the nornerne keep smiling on you.

Which would be "the Norns" spinning the thread of life... *viki* I just hope for new helmets, or the consequent transfer of this *shadowknight* helmet to this *viki* line. *loves shadowknight helmets* Really? I didn't know that... They're called the Norns? [Nornerne] ;) KimT So why do you actually have to employ irony? Had you named the "three old women" earlier correctly noone would have needed to do so, especially not to be corrected in a way, that names them

I remember having a Batman game for my old c64 computer that followed the events of the first Tim Burton movie. This game, though primitive by modern standards, was pure bliss! You started in the chemical plant, ultimately resulting in dipping this jack napier fellow into some acidous liquid, creating joker. following were a street chase via batmobile, a combination game for the Brand X joker products, a level in which you had to cut the strings of parade balloons with the batwing and to finish it off you had to fight youself up the mile-high cathedral to get the girl free and joker to fall to his death. I bet Lego COULD do something awesome if they a)hire the right people and b)put some thaught into their storyline (i.e. not limiting the whole gameplay to "chase baddy and arrest him/her in Arkham Asylum")...

splendid! birthday fodder! *shadowknight* :') ______________ I have come to realize there is a catch to this line...the lack of psychological issues in the whole dark knight mythos. I mean, would Lego ever release a "Bruce watches his parents being killed in front of his eyes"-set? or a "Batman madly in love with one of his greatest enemies (which is Catwoman)"-set? What about "The Penguin mourning his deceased parents"? "Nightwing having a fight with Batman"? Hopefully Lego not only reduces the potential of this line to "ACTION!"...

So why doesn't TLC release a genuine LEGO-space theme with such designs? But with a seriously reduced amount of form/fin parts)... Was this built following the instructions I saw earlier on BrickShelf?

I never figured bionicles actually had eyelids (or whatever a biomechanical semi-lifeform has instead...). And why are bionicles either: 1) supreme fighters of all what is good or 2) descendants from the very innards of evil impersonated...? even those "civilian" matorans i always hear of seem to be very nasty violent suckers at times... so, why all this bellicose attitude? besides that, this hardly qualifies as storywriting. there is no actual story (as in series of events) told...

Hmm I bet my opinion is not compatible with a broader audience but I find these pictures, artistically spoken, to be naive at best. Besides that, Furries are a pain and whoever started the craze should be put to death via a dull spoon...*remembers furry hentai-pics found by googling around randomly...shudder*

obviously a very cold one... *wacko*

That's exactly the reason I used the Hermione head as a "Trinity" head whenever I had some small Matrix moc done... it looks about the right age. Seriously the lack of "femifigs©" is a pain. But I see another problem related to this: Little to no hairpieces in late sets. Do vikings, knights or policemen never take their helmets off? Do they have no hair? A shame it is I say... So bring back "femifigs©" and hairpieces and I am a happy Cutty again...

Why no female Vikings? AARGH! The world is a bleak place to live in...

From what I can deduct from that tiny pic there UCS batmobile doesn't only look like Gotham Heaven it also sports some nifty black dragon wings (as opposed to the smaller ones in the regular Batmobile set). A must have.

I have no doubt I will adapt to the chilipepper design once I come around building my long planned restaurant moc. BTW: great idea! I can really believe that Viking has a hard time with a mexican diet ^^

Add tentacles and you have got something that might have sprung from Lovecraft's Cthulhu-mythos. Being a serious disliker (is that an actual word?) of Bionicle I see and respect the creativity in that moc. Good work!

Yeah, and what a world that would be. Greek hoplites contra generic, retarded alien-cardboard-design-rejects...Woohoo... :( >:( Honestly: the idea of basing a Lego line on a FPS or a movie derived from said shooter is a megablocks idea. And this is politely spoken. If you want models from halo made of Lego (try googling by that word...count the saints you find...it's a shame) try building them yourself. That's what Lego is about. If you want any models just for the purpose of having a model, well get yourself a model kit or some metal miniatures. I bet *some* company has already taken this niche with pleasure... Besides: what image would boxes of halo Lego convey on the none gamer-crowd? Not a very positive one I'd guess...as long as it's not a Nintendo-brand license we're speaking of (Super Mario, Zelda, Kirby). Bute even there are some franchises (Starfox, Metroid, Pok

So, me not being a native english speaker I might miss out on some subtleties of the language. What I came across in the last few days every so often was, especially in posts of american members of various message boards, the tendency to employ the word "of" instead of a more fitting (at least according to my better judgement) "have"... ... Could anyone, preferably a native speaker with a lignuistic background, explain to me what great cosmic plan is behind all this? Thanks from a puzzled mind, Cuttythulhu

I do now officially love this whole line! Great work Lego! All available thumbs of choice up! Do I see a "Dark Knight" month coming up for EB?! (psst! Mods! I'm giving ideas away for free here... ;) ) additionally: THIS LINE IS A GOLDMINE FOR MATRIX MOCS! Guns! Lots of guns! At last! And should old post WWII germany ever see the advent of these sets, I will personally transform Arkham Asylum into a lovecraftian nightmare of my desires... Pure bliss this all...*faints*

Great pic! Love it... Though I feel this line had better come 15 years ago, when I was deep into all this dark knight stuff...well too bad.Now I hope TLC gives us a Batman vs. Lobo crossover set! ^^ See what THAT would do to TLC's non violence premise....

that's what common sense has come down to these days. how big a motherload of cash did mac donald's have to pay the moron who put a paper coffee-cup between his/her legs, spilled it and suffered serious burning injuries...because on the cup was no notice the content (remember: COFFEE! which is mostly served freshly brewed, and therefore hot) could have been, and was, hot! Makes me detest the human race, or some especially low IQ'ed parts of it, even more... Besides: Don't argue those warning signs are meant for children's safety! I guess most kids wouldn't even understand the meaning of them. There is a reason why parents WILL face legal action when disregarding their duty of caring for their offspring*. *guess there is actually a simple english word for the convolute of words I just hammered into the keyboard. But it escapes me right now, because I am very...very tired.

Somehow this reads like a rant I let off in a forum concerning what star wars became over the years. Hell, the expanded universe and all this bullcrap is utter torture. I don't even feel the need to pity the poor souls who are into this golden calf's cult anymore... As for mentioning calves: It is at this point, at the very least, pretty obvious that Bionicle has outlived itself or stands shortly before doing so. In my opinion TLC is just milking the cow now...even though the newer set designs (piraka) do have some strange appeal to them...

Innocent or not, it WAS funny. And it perfectly fits the spongebob background (as our porous dweller of the deep acts kind of childish himself...).

Has anyone here realized we see the advent of the old-spoked cart-wheel? ^^ It's light bley though but one can hope they'll be reintroduced into a (future) castle-theme as well! Edit: I just noticed the spoked wheel was updated to technic pins...

Being a movie fan of sorts I would like to know what "unHollywood"-kind pictures you have seen and like the most. As "unHollywood" I would describe a film of low circulation, small publicity, or plain independence in the very premise of it. My favourite "unHollywood" movie at the time being would be "Politiki Kouzina - A Touch Of Spice" (or "Zimt und Koriander" for all german speaking EB'ers). A greek film which follows the life of a greek who was driven out of constantinople in the 60s before the backgorund of the greek culinary world. It's a film of love, drama, politics and unbeatable humour ^^. I recommend this film to anyone above the age of 12. Beware! This movie is a very european example of filmmaking! All you US residents beware of bare breasts and non-action focused storytelling on multiple levels!

a dialogue like this would have really made king kong a worthwhile movie ^^
