basically it deals with the question which colours a 1000 piece bag sold through shop@home should have. like buying 1000 pieces of the same kind in the same colour in bulk-format. a sequel thread exists covering which shapes of pieces are desired the most. as for the colour question: the calls for "old grey", "classic grey", "pre-2004 grey" and the corresponding browns is naturally a given... note that Jan Beyer (posting in yellow on 1000steine) is some Lego official responsible for the German market. he is the one to contact when you have something to say as a German Afol. never spoke to him neither online nor in person though...

A big "Thank You!" for supersonic response ^^ I guess design-wise it could be worse than what Lego does then. Although an all-black Batman with the outline logo would've been awesome++

So I was wondering recently which Bat-Logo will Batman sport on his chest in the finalized versions. From what we know we get the all-black Batman and the grey/black Batman. But for both figs I saw versions with either the classic "round-wing bat in yellow oval" logo and a more streamlined "Batman Begins"-style logo, which is solid black in a pic of the black/grey Batman and a yellow outline for the all-black Batman. So which are the final designs? I find both versions cool but wished the all-black Batman came with both logos (perhaps in different sets)...

Well by that rational any form of hovering device would be relative to "ground zero level" in concerns of height. But I'd say as the terrain raises the max. height a hover device could render increases with the underlying terrain. Whether any form of terrain (forests, water, snow...) is equally suitable to hover upon is another question (imagine a hover craft trying to cross the Mariana Trench and then tumbling 10,911 m into the depth *wacko* ). Whatever any consistent theory on hover propulsion would have to work out whether its technology is based on forces either pushing (as in the "Matrix" movies) or pulling or simply defying gravity (think UFO)... So all in all, I think you'd have no problem crossing the Alpes with a hovercraft unless you suck hard at manouvering ^^ my 2

Review: 6638 Bionicle Ultimate Creatures Accessory Set
Cutty replied to Deinonychus's topic in LEGO Action Figures
I'm not that much on a Bionicle disciple but it looks rather intriguing concerning some project I had in mind for some time now... Does anyone know whether this thing is available in Germany? Perhaps trough TRU? -
I'd so laugh my lungs sore if this wasn't so satiristically true... O tempora, o mores! Slightly annoyed, Cutty

Joker's pre-criminal name would be "Jack Napier".

bought this set today and it is pretty nice. the armour-parts, once you do it right, might have potential to be incorporated into evil/alien-scenery/architecture. The face is genius! Half-blind (accidentally on the side he is holding his ball'n'chain? ^^) and ultra scruffy. I do hope we get an equal face for one of the serpent rogue knights in the minifig-sets. Another one or two of his shield might make for cool architectural material (snake-tower/castle, etc.). All in all, a nice set. Though here's one thing I observed first on this set. On the bottom of the can it says: "Components made in Denmark and China"... does Lego really produce our beloved ABS in kung-fu-country now? ;) *wacko*

I know that, mind you, but I really could care not any less. My intention was to spice up the multilingual potential this site, as being a truly european-based, should have, could harness. Heck, I wouldn't even mind posts in French or Greek or Polish for that matter (although I'd have to ask a girl-friend of mine to decipher it ^^). I bet one post in a thousand, that is written entirely in german will not render anyone irrevocably sick. So calm down. Oder, wie man es in Deutsch so sch

I don't know if my information on this is up to date but when I set up a paypal-account I was sure I didn't need a credit card. The procedure went as follows without one: 1. You transfer money to PayPal's own bank-account 2. This money is then stored in your account there 3. Use PayPal up to the financial limit, i.e. the amount of money you initially transferred to PayPal I never used my account however so I don't know whether they changed something, or if the procedure is valid only for german users... Hope this could be of help. Greetings, Cutty

^^ Nuja, viel Spa

But don't you think we're engaged by this ... And why does "Banana = Monkey Steak"? It's just a saying we have here in germany, although we do not say "steak" normally but "Kotelett" -> Banane = Affenkotelett. Because monkeys like bananas...you know? Whatever...

For germany this might be true for Avatar. Spongebob however is omnipresent here and runs on several channels. Wherever you go shopping here, you might eventually find SB merchandise. Hell, there were even SB-figurines* in the popular "Kinder

HAHA! This is sooo damn good! I laughed hard about that! The poison-bottle is a classic! Now to building my own ^^ But I can also see some thaught police swaying its hammer about this...presuming the incompatibility of "Black Humour and LEGO*" *as being a toy for children I love it! Djihad! Djihad! Holy War, Holy War!!! HAHA! now to swallow a Lego-made scorpion for fun, Cutty

And honestly? You really post as if you were ^^ Greetings to our lovely members (this sounds so much like having a double meaning...), Cutty

Whoa! Vielen Dank ihr lieben Leute! Now for some heavy sparing money-wise (AAARGH! But I need more vikings/shadow knights!) and reading all the recommended literature. Since I am a total beginner when it comes to digital photographing I see some steep learning curve ahead of me (adds one more to my growing list ^^) Again thanks to you all, Cutty

Is that a pic of Jojo's? He's a member over at C-C.com and 1000steine... and lives across town where I live ^^ Nice though. And whoever wishes to be wished a "happy valentine's Day"...feel yeself wished accordingly ^^ still sans love, Cutty

So I am eager to acquire a digital camera soon, both intended for indoor (Lego-related ^^) and outdoor use. I am, however, a bit "broke" right now, so I'd rather not spend anymore than say 50-75

I can so imagine Joker pulling of some prank involving bare-chested mermaids ^^^ Greetings, Cutty p.s.: watch your spelllllink. It's "aerial"...

hard to predict, but if, and that's a major "IF", TLC manages to advertize for the Batman-launch well, sales for the line might skyrocket. SW will sell less I reckon (no new movie/series/demand quenched), Spongebob will follow, KK2 will sell quite good (considering both maxi- and minifig-sets), Racers will do well. Exo-Force will have its waay though. My visit to the Lego store near me showed me, that the target group will get its hit on the line (observed at least 2 boys aged 7-12 building newly acquired Exo-Force bots on the site!). I bet Batman will be "Line 2006". Strong introduction, strong advertisement = win. Greetings, Cutty

I know that! You see DVDs you have seen once in cinema or similar and buy them and you do not have the time to watch them! That's too bad sometimes... ;) I'm a sucker for a nice shelf...I'll buy DVD's but hardly ever watch them. DVD's which I bought but still have to watch are: LotR Trilogy (SE) Scarface (SE) Sin City (SE) The Discovery of Heaven No Direction Home (Bob Dylan documentary, SE) Funky Monks (Red Hot Chili Peppers videoclips) SW Trilogy (have seen them on VHS plenty of times though) Yes, I'm a sucker for Special Edition DVD's too Funny! It's quite the opposite with me, since I enjoy movies but consider DVDs to be a waste of time. I hardly ever buy DVDs for myself...today though I got me "The last hours of Pompeji" by Sergio Leone on DVD. After the first 5 minutes now I think there is not that much to it...archaeologiocally speaking that is^^ Last movie I saw: The Island (w/ Ewan McGregor) - liked it. Hit the "Alias problem" right on its head.

I think the link you provided was alright. There were some nice views in that pics the others from that BS-gallery could not provide. So don't worry yourself.

If it was the clooney-batman vs. schwarzenegger-mr. freeze flick, it was Batman and Robin and indeed terrible. I feel your pain!
