  1. WHOA! I just died and went to heaven! This is just awesome! Return of the broadsword, the neck-protector helmet and skeletons en masse! A new (cool looking) crown-faction, too... Damn I want this. And it's better in the onset than KK2 EVER was. When is this line due? Summer 2007? I hope for it! Back after a long absence, Cutty
  2. *y* HOORAY for Wii! Great pics you got there. Now show us some Mii-making goodness ^^ You wouldn't happen to know btw whether the WiiMote and Nunchuk come out in BLACK, would you?
  3. Cutty

    Wheelie!

Sharkticons yes, Alpha Trion no. As Alpha Trion is the "bearded" ancestor-autobot Prime encounters when he fusions with Vector Sigma in the "Rebirth" series (where Head- and Targetmasters were introduced) I believe you mean that odd guy named "Kranix" from that robotic species whos homeworld gets sacked by Unicron in the early movie.
  4. I didn't wonder actually to see the dove-ad campaign in this video. I find their approach to advertise with real-life women to be a step in the right direction. Just for a sense of scale I'm talking here, type "dove ad" in the google picture search. The women in these ads are really beautiful, at least according to my tastes. Indeed, what am I supposed to do with a girl that looks like one had to force-feed her to prevent her starvation? I hate fake-faces in the media period.
  5. Yep, the 2nd gen starters are obtainable in Emerald, yet only one per game. Prof. Birch awards you with one of the three (your choice) once you complete the Hoenn dex (sans Jirachi and Deoxys). That's 200 monsters including all the event legendaries from Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald. Additionally the 2nd gen starters can be bred from their evolved forms you snag in Colosseum, and if I am not mistaken you get a random starter with their corresponding "elemental hyper beam" when you beat Battle Mountain in XD:Gale of Darkness. When you have a 3rd gen game in the gba cartridge-slot you also unlock wild monsters (usually ones that are originally exclusive to that cartridge) in certain areas. This is essential if you want to evolve Electabuzz and Magmar since their baby-forms, which are unlocked that way, carry the item you need to evolve them. I think that's a cool means of making trading much more necessary along with having wi-fi trading as a much more viable way to trade anyway.
  6. If only! Yet I fear that launchers, catapults, shooting devices and other means of hurling small objects around will be ubiquitously scattered over each and every model this future line is about to render. I believe it's Lego really assured of kids wanting that kind of lametainment. Gah. I just hope for some cool useful parts in acceptable colours (NO YELLOW! Please!) Apart from all this painting-flowers-of-hope-black: GO SPACE! WEEH!
  7. Jojo's a guy from my town (never met him though). He is a fairly active poster on 1000steine.de and even owns a website for his creations (of which I currently lack a link, and the motivation to acquire one...). On 1000steine he is known for witty, sometimes cynical, comments on everything and, of course, his most awesome MOCing skills. One could say he mastered mockery and MOCerie as well ^^
  8. Congratulations! That's really a good place to work in. I take it you'll get employees' discounts ;-) ? Have fun!
  9. "Cutty" is a diminutive of my very first internet handle I chose (about 5 years ago...) "CutYourThroat" I used to get very offensive reaction to that name on a multitude of internet boards, so I felt the need to change it. It was then a lapsus of a pal of mine during an ICQ conversation where he, perhaps without much in mind, called me "Cutty" for short. I then took up that shortened, and more positively sounding, name as my new handle. I've used it ever since (apart from very selected sites, where I cover my true identity via an ultra-secret name that is far to mysterious to utter here *stealthily hides in the digital shadows* :-D ). SADLY, that name was already used on msn when I tried to register there, so I combined a term referring to my first name (Renaissance) and my internet handle (Cutty) to be my msn screen-name. Apart from that my love for the MegaMan games got refueled a few years ago, and CutMan (see my pixely avatar ^^) is one of my favourite robot masters...so there I am!
  10. Well yes. I'm sick and tired of all things StarWars. Way back, when I saw the Lego sets I was hooked, over time I amassed almost every set I could get my hands on. But with the advent of Episodes 2 and 3 my interest in SW faded. With the craptastical blow the SE of the original trilogy was I came to despise the franchise even more, up to the point where I would not want to throw my money (which comes in limited quantities as it is!) in GL's general direction. The only things StarWars I MIGHT consider picking up is selected Lego sets for parting out, the LSW PC-games (once they get rereleased together for less money) and a toy-lightsaber just for the fun of swinging it around and making "Whoom!Whaaaom!"-sounds during the process *sweet* X-D So yes apart from these little exemptions I'm pretty much through with SW... (and I won't even buy the OOT movies on DVD when they come out...)
  11. This part is DAMN PERFECT for cthulhoidish-tentacly monstrosities! I'll sure get a load of those! Thanks for pointing this out, yoda!
  12. Somehow it's sad I'm not into SW anymore. I would have liked the new Y-Wing at a time. And the Clone Battle-Pack isn't nearly as interesting as it could potentially be, if it had the Ep.2 Clones (which would much more intimidating as the later ones...).
  13. AQUARAIDERS! WHOOHOO!! I'm so going to get those! (and while I'm at it: some of the new E-F thingies look goodie-goodie as parts supply as well! mini-yeah!)
  14. I have not (yet) played either LSW game, yet I'm actually looking forward to LBatman! I can only hope the makers draw their prime inspiration from the nolanesque Batman movie and ditch the Shoemaker-crapfests for good. And god forbid any 60s "Dynamic Duo" action...although some "POW!"s, "BANG!"s and such would really work to lighten the stuff up... I'll wait and anticipate in the dark until more info hits our board.
  15. A noble hunter, as a predator surely is, would not kill THIS ugly dog!
  16. Since the release of all the 2006 SW sets I never encountered a wild A-Wing in its natural habitat here in Germany. I admit I didn't visit a Lego-store since a few weeks before those sets had their release, so I won't know whether it's available there. Funny thing though it disappeared in the 2006/2 catalog although it had been in the 2006/1 issue... The Sandcrawler however is being carried by some major department store chains here.
  17. Now to erase overrated anime characters:
  18. Super Lady Di Landmine Rescue Squad GO!
  19. Cutty

    8 PLANETS!

Somehow I feel uncomfortable with the declassement of Pluto. It somehow "felt" better knowing it to be the far out li'l bro to us... well, such is life and life changes a lot.
  20. German shepherd to Kitty Chow I say! Tiger'ed:
  21. That's a pretty naildo you have there! Oh and the set is nice as well *wacko* ! *y*
  22. The Rockman's gonna rock your combat-robot! Blue Bomber galore!
  23. The Autobots' list is weird in my opinion...and so...brief?! *Sigh* No HotRod, Kup and Springer banter for me then (and neither some good Autobot-hottie Arcee lovin'...). 'Tis a shame. Same is true for the Decepticons. The coolest of the lot are missing: Cyclonus... Scourge... seems we won't even see ever-so-cool "tape-hawk" Lazerbeak... *sigh*
  24. This happens to be called Yggdrasil. And if I remember correctly it was also the tree Odin/Wotan was bound onto to achieve the mysteries of life itself, sacrificing half his eyesight (thus the eyepatch...).
