  1. Well this was definitely as shitty an ending as the official one. By no means would this all have made for a better movie experience. Especially as it fails to rectify the bloody poopfest between the opening roll and the credit roll... I still say: remake ALL of StarWars, and don't let GL have ANY partake in it, no say, no veto, no nothing... And let Anakin at least be 15+ years old in Episode 1...that would make his ruthlessness a lot more convincing. (And make the Jedi "KNIGHTS" again, and cease that "MONK" bullcrap...)
  2. against the crushing of the heads:
  3. I'm coughing from laughter! This is bliss! GO Wii!
  4. Ohwee! I almost forgot my birthday myself, with all the learning at the moment (though it IS technically holiday-season between semesters now...). Thanks to all you nice folks! Hope to be with you more frequently in the future. Now back to studying some Latin ^^ Cutty
  5. practical measure to counteract those nasty gases: I shall hereby announce the celebration of my 333th post!
  6. Happy Birthday Snefroe! May your anniversary be blessed with tons of Lego and loads of belgian chocolate!
  7. I would try out Brickquest (though with custom rules) but a) I have no folks to play with and b) am I too lazy to get up to build a modular dungeon...so there. But some of my roleplaying fellows have used the viking ship for miniature play in one of their sessions before ^^.
  8. I think the linked image is indeed the first prototype (earlier to the picture above). And in parts, I would have preferred the prototype to the finished product, namely fig-wise and snake-wise (come on! The damn monster looks terrifying!). Although it has its downsides: even more ridiculous horns, even more ridiculous longswords, the boat isn't so well designed... but the figs hold the old ribbed round-shields! Which would be fantastic to see them return! Well and the beards of course...they look as if they were specifically intended for Dwarves...yet there are no Lego-Dwarves up to now (which is a damn shame!). Well rest assured, the pic is already known to the public and you haven't missed anything important.
  9. Too bad even he will RUST!
  10. Historical accuracy beats the smoldering ABS out of Lego-Vikings! Bonus image: Antique viking helmet with baked together chain-application / 7th century a.d.
  11. I bet you're better off sparing yourself THAT inconvenience by going there:
  12. Too bad the latest paparazzi-pictures reveal the shocking truth: Slater-boy isn't the man he used to be any more!!!
  13. This guy is gonna dig through it. Just you see ^^
  14. Well damn, Ghoulrealm was 2 minutes quicker than me...I'll leave my intended answer to Mr.Wilder as W.Wonka as a small link then, I find it to be the better reply...anyway... Utterly outdressed by the "Original wearer of fancy top-hats" clicky clicky As for the new reply: Don't fret Dr.Frankenstein! The almighty Mary Shelley is on the way to rectify the castrated hollywood-image of your utterly misunderstood creature (who is NOT NAMED FRANKENSTEIN! DAMMIT!)
  15. I do not wonder about this finding as it comes only naturally. Gothic horror is a very subtle element in Batman-storytelling of which the name "GOTHam" is only the peak of the iceberg (as far as obvious inspiration is concerned). Now I'd just like to see a Bat-Villain named "The Winged Squid from the Stars" *wub* *sweet* now that'd be awesome!
  16. Due to my new fascination with role-playing, once again ^^, I mostly listen to fantasy music as of now. Examples: www.radiorivendell.com - Heroes of Might & Magic 4 OST - Divine Divinity OST - LOTR trilogy OST aso.

First of all: Very exciting shape! Beautifully spacey and cosmically erotic ^^! Interior doesn't do much for me, although the high-walled bridge section is a nice change from usual cramped spartanism. The crew's quarter is standard issue. As for the crew being too few for a ship of this size: If it be just a bulk freighter, and not a warship, I'd say it'd be mostly befitting to sport a small crew of five, since what do you need? Captain/engineer, one in charge of navigation and computers, some cargo-experst/engineers, one chief-engineer. Just look at the "Nostromo" freighter from the first "Alien"-movie, very much the same thing. That's all. So I think it fits very well.
  18. I just listened to the broadcasting over radio and I must say I usually don't find football very exciting AT ALL, but this final "shootout to victory"-stuff was fun to hear...even more so as all scored goals were praised with cheers from all over the near empty parking-lot* where I sat in the car. *That game was a REAL BLOCKBUSTER! I've never seen our local shopping-center that lifeless on a late saturday! And even inside all TVs, Radios and other media roared the game broadcasts into the atmosphere! There was indeed no escape from it ^^
  19. Still from the leaked pics that are on the net I, as a very avid TF fan (boyhood memories *wub* ), don't like the robot's style at all. They look way to flimsy and "un-transformer-ish" to me. Kinda like the, aforementioned, transforming robot from the C
  20. Hehe, one of the mods could actually write one on W'pedia. Complete with board history, explanation on how EB policies differ from the other big renown Lego-communities and our very own success story regarding the spreading of leak-info AGES before others even start to accept them as factual info. I bet EB would get LOADS of visitors through proper advertising.
  21. AH! I know that video, as my brother-in-law once showed it to me! Hilarious and indeed in german... What this fine specimen of kid gamer is so frenzied about is a session of Unreal Tournament, which, delayed by loading processes, stresses the nerve of our friend-of-o-so-low-attention-span ^^ Once the game has started he rows curse after curse (of the more graphic type...) and screams as he progresses through killing his digital enemies. He eventually cheers over the death of such a foe ("Ich hab ihn umgebracht! WHOOHOOO!" -> "I killed him! WHOOHOOO!"). Through advancing through this series of violence-laden virtual events he, as you saw, destroys his keyboard irrevocably. I don't know whether this be a hilarious act of internet-acting or a case-study of underage-gamers showing tragic results 8-
  22. My condolences! I understand your feelings for losing a teacher of such a long time. I'm sure if I one day found out one of my history teachers had passed away, I'd cry my heart out (thankfully, up to now, I only need to write in conjunctive...). So take your time and remember a good soul. Be well, Cutty

    New Game...

The only real junkmails I receive are sent by my e-mail services THEMSELVES (for german internetiers: web.de anyone?!)! Almost accordingly the same service registers wanted ad-mails of a society for scientific books as spam... go figure!
  24. Well, although swiss chocolate ranks high reputation-wise I personally see belgian and german chocolate (we have GREAT chocolates here! although very vile ones also... :'-( ) as far better than swiss made chocolate. I personally reckon the art of H.R.Giger, Cheese and Clocks as the best of export-goods Switzerland has to offer :-)
  25. Oh come to believe it Tau! Sne is right there. Belgian chocolate is so goddamn tasty... and addicting ^^ (Yes, this is my first post after a myriad of weeks!)
