I picked them both up today and I have to say they are both very different. I really enjoy Indestructible Hulk. It's a great story that has a lot of great ways to continue. Captain America was ok not one of the best Marvel Now titles in my opinion, but it had some good parts. In terms of pages Hulk has about 28 pages. Captain America has 27. While Captain America isn't the best it might still be worth picking up just like Hulk it has a few good ways it could go.

I certainly want a superheroes advent calendar next year. It could include: DC Micro bat plane Micro bat boat Micro two face truck Micro joker helicopter Batman Robin Weapons rack Joker bomb Chattering teeth Santa joker Superman Marvel: Micro blackbird Micro quinjet Micro S.H.E.I.L.D truck Mini Helicarrier Spider-Man's quad bike Captain America Spider-man Ironman And Santa Wolverine. I know there's not 24 different ones for each still thinking of some.

Yesterday I pick up the remaining Marvel Now stuff that had come out. I got: Iron man #1 Thor #1 Deadpool #1 Fantastic Four #1 X-men legacy #1 All new X-men #1 Gambit #5 Batman #13 & #14 Should keep me busy for a while. I've read most of the Marvel Now stuff and have found the most of it really good. I didn't find the rebooted Deadpool as funny as some of the previous ones. Also I wasn't very fond of X-men legacy or Red she-hulk. However I loved Iron man, Uncanny Avengers and all new X-men. All new X-men was probably the most interesting one for me. It's good to see the original 5 back together. Fantastic four was good and so was A+X. Point one was good but I felt it could have improved a lot by adding in stories surrounding some more mainstream characters.

That's not what "Rescue" is in Iron man terms. Search on Google Rescue from Iron man. -

Lego Superheroes 2013 Rumours & Discussion

Actually X-men was know right from the beginning. In the press release LEGO said they had the rights to the Cinematic Universe, X-men and Ultimate Spider-man. Also a few days later they showed the prototype wolverine figure at 2011 SDCC. This is also one of the reasons I doubt FF just yet. I don't think they have the rights to them unless they appear in Ultimate Spidey. Hopefully the fourth set isn't a Ultimate Spidey set. The whole wave at the moment is Batman and Spider-man, which although the sets are good isn't really great. It needs some more diversity. It would be cool to get a Green Goblin set with maybe Coulson, but I would rather get him in a set based on season 2. In season two he could team up with cooler villains or kidnap MJ and it would be nice for a set like that. Plus we already have a green goblin from 2001 so I would rather see some new characters before we got the Ultimate Goblin. -

I doubt it will be a Fantastic Four set as there isn't much interest in them at the moment. Maybe when the film reboot comes out or maybe if they appear in Ultimate Spider-man season 2. But I doubt that we will see them this year. I don't think that bigger sets are kept until summer either. Last year both waves had a set around the £70/$70 price point, and so did most of the other themes (LOTR & Hobbit). While there's a gap this year in the winter wave for a £70 dollar set but if its an Exculsive then I can the price being about £40/£50 in the LEGO store and £70 at TRU. -

Glad to see the eye patch goes around the back of the head. Really looking forward to getting that set, its certainly the best shown Marvel set so far. Although the Bugle has 5 good figures the building is a bit lacking. -

I'm still not sure. If two Ironman 3 sets did come out in January then it would cause more unbalanced issues. In the winter wave it would give us one Marvel set ahead of DC, and in the summer it would give us only four sets with one of them Marvel. So unless LEGO has more sets that are not related to the movies planned for the summer I find it unlikely. Four sets isn't a wave, last year each wave was 6 even though one set was delayed for a few months. I think the secret Marvel set is more plausible as it will give not only a equal number of DC and Marvel sets, but also even out each wave with equal numbers of both companies. -

Same here. Surely some of the sets will have major spoilers in them. Like who's in what scene and who tony is fighting in each scene. -

Actually I find that this version is a lot closer to the Arkham City version. He has a very similar suit and the Robin from the Arkham Asylum set looks exactly like his Arkham City version as well. I am positive that he has his trademark goggles on the reverse of his face, and that they are just not been shown because LEGOs trying to paint him as an angry villain in the box art. -
Rumor: Lego moving brick production away from China
Sam892 replied to Pro_Ice's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Well hopefully this will increase the quality of some parts. While the print and details of new moulds have increased by an incredible amount the quality has really been holding LEGZo back these past few years. The amount of parts that are faulty in the sets I buy is embarrassing. It's gotten to such a stage that its impossible to get replacement parts because LEGO don't believe me. Hopefully this should change although I won't hold my breath. -
Well Hulk looks like ice cream is the same as our films..... Meaning I get my own and from now on you'll have to share with Rogers and Stark.

Well I have to say that Halo 4 is one of the best games on Xbox. I loved every minute of it. A things I didn't like was the look of the Covies and the sound of the new Warthog.

I would rather have the same system as the US. While we get them cheaper we can't get them any other time of year which is frustrating. Ever year we wait about 6 months just for a certain polybag. Due to the Sun there's hardly any polybags in the UK as even those which don't feature in the promotion still don't make it to store shelves. Toys R Us only have two polybags a year which this year was a Ninjago skeleton and a pod racer. The closest thing we have to a Walmart or Target store is Tescos and ASDA. Neither of those have any polybags in store and it frustrating for us to see how easy it is for most countries to just go to a toy shop and buy them. It's the same for Exculsive sets like modulars. In the US they sell them in TRU and here we can only get them from LEGO. That means that we have to wait for LEGO to have a sale instead of being able to shop around in the sales. Anyway on the topic of this eBay lot the price is ridiculous at £700. I have no idea how that person got 190 of them but I'm guessing they manage a WHSmith store.

Its not worth it at all. As soon as the sets release the figs will be pretty easy and affordable to get. That figure looks like he comes in a $10 set anyway so I really struggle to understand paying double that just to have him early. Plus if you get the set you get the other figs and some bricks. Anyway on the topic again I'm not a big fan of the new DKR Batman. He looks much better in Black than in dark grey. -
'Well it looks like Bane and Killer Croc had an interesting night 9 months ago.'

Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Season 5 Discussion
Sam892 replied to LEGOman273's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Looking forward to this story arc. I've been playing the Old Republic MMO and still don't have a real lightsaber. At the moment the Jedi only trust me with a training one. I loved the orginal Ilum story arc from the original series, so hopefully this shouldn't be terrible for me. I think it would however have been cooler seeing someone else instead of Ahsoka. Maybe Yoda or Fisto, maybe even Plo Koon. I'm getting a bit bored of the same old Jedi. That's one of the reasons I loved the first two seasons they mixed it up and pushed some of the background characters to the front. -
I'm actually hopeful about this new trilogy after all Disney made all the Pixar films and the Avengers/Marvel cinematic universe. I have no worries with Star Wars in their hands.

Well usually my WHSmiths doesn't sell enough papers to get rid of all the Polybags. So my friend who works there gets them. It's not usually a lot that they are left with anything from 7 to 1. It's also around the start of the promotion that they are left with Spare Polybags aswell.

Lego Superheroes 2013 Rumours & Discussion
Sam892 replied to CorneliusMurdock's topic in LEGO Licensed
I've said it before but regardless of what people think of Ultimate Spider-man, its given us a lot in terms of LEGO. Through the sets we have got lots of characters that we would have never have got. Just think we wouldn't have Nova, Iron-fist, Doctor Doom, Beetle and maybe even Nick Fury. Most of the characters look like there mainstream counterparts ( apart from Goblin and Doc Ock ). I think we should just all be grateful for what we have. Sure it would be a lot nicer to have Sets based on the current film or comics but as long as we're getting more Marvel Figures and sets I don't care. Infact I think it's better due to all the cameos from other heroes like Ironman and wolverine. Not to mention the cameos from villains like Doom and even M.O.D.O.K. Season 2 is on its way and as far as I'm concerned that's great news. I'm a fan of the show and understand why lots of you don't like it, but think about it. In the next season we have Lizard, Electro, Rhino and other Spidey villains with cameos from more heroes and villains. With this show we could get Daredevil, the Fantastic four, Guardians of the Galaxy, more X-men and countless other characters that we would never get otherwise. Lets all just be thankful that LEGO is making more Marvel figures, regardless of where or what it's from. -
Ye that's ok. Unfortunately I've run out of all the Superheroes Polybags. I may however be able to get a few more but I'm not sure how many. I will let you know but I will definately be getting some different Polybags in the week.
