I think that my Favourite minifig has to be either Magneto, Wolverine, black suit Spidey or Ironman. All the new superheroes are incredible apart from one or two. In terms of the worst it has to be the original Sebulba and Watto from 1999 and 2000. Looking back at them it shows exactly how much better LEGO is at making strange aliens and unusual minifigs.

I've been a fan of Halo since 2007 and when I got my Xbox 360 in February of the same year I didn't know much about it. I got crackdown with my consol and saw this little sticker about the Beta, since then I've been hooked. I've played all the games including halo wars, read nearly all the books, watch halo legends, read a few of the comics/graphic novels and am currently watching forward unto dawn. Today I picked up the new book Thursdays war and I'm going to try and get through it before Halo 4. To me it's one of the best sci-fi universes ever!

Lego Superheroes 2013 Rumours & Discussion

Actually I think it will most likely be the other way around. We will most likely be getting Iron Patriot in a set and Warmachine as either a promotional polybag or comic con fig. However it all depends on when in the movie he gets his new suit. -
I get the feeling that Fox trying to set up a new main story trilogy. With the 'Days of Future Past' film I can see that some of the consequences of time travel could erase certain events from all the previous films. Maybe erase Cyclops death, Nightcrawlers exit from the team, maybe even the whole production of the cure. Also with Wolverine and reading that there may also be cameos from Jean Grey, I can see Wolverine reforming the X-men. Maybe darting the Jean Grey School for higher learning. Fox have already stated that they would love to integrate the X-men universe into the Cinematic Universe and are righting scripts for X-men 4,5,6.

Just pick up yesterday AvX consequences #3, Gambit #4, Ultimate Ironman #1 and Red She Hulk #58. I've read Daredevil end days and I was quite pleased. Looking forward to the next issue of it, it's got a great detective story going.

Lego Superheroes 2013 Rumours & Discussion

Thinking about it a bit more I hope LEGO doesn't include the rings. I think that it will ruin the figure. Maybe if there printed on but if they are just the LOTR piece then I will most likely consider them as spare parts. The Mandarin is a lot different from the LOTR theme, I can see the Mandarin working without being given the rings. That way he has a lot more freedom and most people will just pretend he's sheering rings anyway. It worked for Green Lantern and Wonder woman. With LOTR the ring is the most important part and it would have never worked without it. Plus the ring although big was about as good as LEGO could ever get it. The piece can't be to small as it will be easy to use. Also I has to fit with the minifigure ( LEGO can't just add fingers for one character). But it also can't make the figure look stupid. So far LEGO has done pretty well in terms of size and detail with Superhero accessories. Some of the best minifigure parts have to be Magneto's helmet, Cap's Shield, Wolverines Claws and Two-face's coin. With the Mandarin I wouldn't want the large LOTR ring as it is just would look right. The only good alternative would be a printed hand. Actually maybe the best way would be like Two-Face's coin. A 1x1 round tile with 5 rings printed on to it include three in the box ( two to hold in both hands and a spare). -
I'm ok with the new suit but I like the previous ones a lot more. I might be just because I'm used to seeing Iron-man with more red than gold. Two suits I really do want to see are the Hulk-Buster and the new MARVEL Now suit. The Marvel Now one is basically if you replaced the red with black, kept the gold and instead of blue lights they were white/yellow. Hopefully both these suits will make it into the cinematic universe sometime in the future!

Lego Superheroes 2013 Rumours & Discussion

It's not all LEGOs fault that the prices keep increasing. Oil is becoming rarer which driving up the transport costs and the cost of materials. I know LEGO made a lot of money last quarter but even with all that money it would be incredibly expensive to buy the amount of new printing machines to produce them on such a large scale. Each machine is tens of thousands of dollars. It would cost a huge amount to replace there current printing machines. I can live without the printing on Wonder Woman and even without the rings for Mandarin. I think before we start on the arms LEGO need tos to perfect 360' head printing. -

I don't think that's the case. I believe the only reason that the superheroes theme doesn't have any civillian females is mainly because of its age. The themes only be around for a year, and LEGO is trying to attract as many people to this theme as possible. The way they are doing that is by putting as many heroes and villains into sets as possible. Just look at some of the other Licenced themes like Harry Potter. The amount of female and even male secondary characters as minifigures is incredible. The same could be said for Star Wars. In Harry Potter we go Proffessor Sprout, Mrs Weasley and Lots of other characters who wasn't massively important in a lot of the films. With Pepper Pots I can't see LEGO not releasing her as a figure especially after watching the trailler. From the looks of it she will be right in the action with Tony and Rhodey. -
I do love the Mark VIII but I think Rhodey has a much cooler new suit. I can't wait to see Warmachine in the Iron-Patriot Suit. The only downside I can find to it is the Arc Reactor, why did it have to be a square? It would have been much cooler if the whole reactor was the star!

What do you prefer?, Lego Batman or Lego DC superheroes

Not just Two-Face but some of the sets as well. I really don't like the colour scheme of the new Batcave. The older version which was around the Same price. Was not only larger and integrated all of the vehicles ( boat, car and plane ) it was also black. The new one with the dark blue and yellow everywhere looks bad. Also Banes drilling machine would have looked better in grey or even yellow. I still can't decide if the colours of Black and Gold are better than Black and Yellow. -

I think the Extremis set will be a small rendition of tony Starks workshop, with a few of his old suits (not the mark VI or VII). Then the Malibu Mansion will be the bigger of the three and will most likely include Pepper, Hogan, stark a few of the Ironmen suits a helicopter and the new armor. Must likely the last set will include War Machine. -
Well that trailler was incredible. Really can't wait to see it. It's also cool to see Iron-man in the snow!

It's a tough one to call. I certainly like aspects of each of them. For example in 2006 I feel the overall colour sceme and originality of the theme was incredible. However with the current theme I think that the detail of both the sets and figures are of a much higher quality. I think if I had to pick one I would say the current theme just because of the detail. -

I think just the boot printing on Spidey would make him a lot better. He's just got too much blue on him. Maybe the 360 head print aswell. In terms of colours he should have the darker blue, that way he would be a lot closer to the cartoon. Out of all the Marvel figures there's only three that I think are not as good as they could have been. Black widow, Spider-man and Venom. I feel that Venom could have been better with a unique Mold. Perhaps like how Dogpound looks in the TMNT theme. The other two are good figures but just need a little more adjustments. Maybe and hopefully I will feel better once I see the Venom figure for real. -
I can't wait to see what Easter eggs and cameo Iron-man 3 has in store. The last 2 were filled with them ( Captain America's Shield, numerous references to the 10 Rings, Ect... ) not to mention the credits scene which will show off maybe Thor or another phase 2 movie. On another note Ultimate Spider-man will finish next week and I was starting to think about the second series. I really want to see more X-men, Fantastic Four and Daredevil. They would make great additions to the show and then there's also the chance of LEGO making them. ( They made Dr Doom so if they appear in the show them there shouldn't be a reason not too.)

I would love to see a future Ultimate Spider-man set based in the school. Include Spidey, Coulson, Luke Cage, Stan Lee the Janitor and maybe a villian like Trapster or Taskmaster.

Oops my bad about the Arkham price I got into the habit of typing them out identical in dollars and pounds. It's $159.99 Hopefully we do even if its a small set. I feel that LEGO teased us this year with the Choppershowdown and Phoenix figure this year. Also after seeing how accurate the Spider-cycle is I would have loved to have seen what LEGO would have done with the Batpod. -

The Marvel 4 set is said to be Iron-man's Malibu Mansion. Whether that's true or if they are infact different sets remains to be seen . However even if it is the Marvel 4 set then we are still missing a Marvel 3. All of the Ironman sets were 4-6 if I remember correctly. Also the prices for the winter wave are: Batboat and Spidercycle $20 £20 Tumbler & BAT $40 £40 Daily Bugle $ 50 £50 Arkham $120 £120. -

Anyone know what those black Triangle things next to Venom are? Are they meant to be symbiotes or projectiles? -

The only thing that interests me in this is maybe the Exculsive figure. After playing the game I don't think there's much point to even watching this. When I first saw this I wondered if IGN accidently put the Videogame trailler up. Hopefully the fig will be something like Hazmat Robin or Green Lanturn. Hopefully not another Batman Suit. -
Agreed I have a bit of a soft spot for Cyclops. I'm still hoping he can become a hero again and redeem himself. I just finished reading Point one and I really enjoyed it. Now I just have to finish Daredevil End of Days, Batman 4-12, Nightwing 5-13 and Ultimates 1-6. Should keep me busy for a while.

Well I think that both these sets are the best of the wave. I love the Spider-cycle, especially how by the look of things it can switch from 2 wheels to 4. Plus that Flying car is beautiful I'm a large fan of bigger cars in Lego that can fit multiple figures. the Bat-Boat is also great I guessed it right a few weeks ago with it being from the video game. -

it doesn't have to be a D2C set though. It could be a Toys R Us Exculsive or another retailer. Toys R Us never show of there Exculsive set in any of the retailer catalogs or cons. It always just appears out of the blue on S@H, just like it did with The Funhouse, Echo Base, Palpatines Arrest and countless other sets. Granted we may have to wait for the summer Wave but I don't think LEGO will be able to favour one company over the other in terms of set count.
