Yes I am happy with the nose, it went to different stages the last couple of years but this version works nice, however internally the next one will be a little different so hopefully i got a little more room for things like the parking brake (at least i think it is) in the short hood. For the railing I think I am trying some hoses, see how it works.

I like the color scheme, nice and bright! Great smoke stack, so many parts I don't know the existence of still..

Thanks all! Great to see you here, enthusiastically i ordered some fans from you some years ago thinking making a train was an easy job. It is the last thing changed on this one , it's going on the shelf, i am ready for the next!

Thanks people for the kind words! To answer some questions; Those are 1x2 hinge bricks, the slopes are upside down attached to yhe body with brackets. Parts 7828/7829, I was content with the wedgeplates but this looks nice and clean! Did not care about the rest of the set! Yes, and what a bad idea that was, it looked so cool!

I like the old locomotives more then the newer ones especially with the high short hood! I didn't mind that WRE has emd locomotives with alco trucks because i am not happy with my attempts for blomberg trucks for now.
