  1. It has greebles. Greebles are usually small pieces used to break up a large flat surface. A lot of Star Wars ships have it, especially the Super Star Destroyer.
  2. CMFs and regular minifigs are both made of ABS, so I don't think it would make a difference.
  3. I love the dinosaur-man head in the pond. My local county fair had an event like that, and at least half of the entries were just regular sets.
  4. Probably chlorine since they are both green.
  5. Arms, legs and hands aren't supposed to be removed because they stress the torso or legs they are attached to. Removing arms harms the torso, and should only be done if you're willing to risk harming the figure.
  6. Probably either 8689 Toa Tahu, 7307 Flying Mummy Attack, or MMV. One of the Monster Fighters sets will probably take the number one spot though.
  7. That scanner is really cool. When you showed the finished scan at the end, it wasn't exactly half of the head. How did you make it so they empty spaces filled in?
  8. Does the set come in the bubble wrap and bow, as well as the candy, or did you have someone send it to you from Japan and they put those in there? I think this is a nice set, but the submarine is cooler.
  9. That Frankenstein's monster looks a bit more sand green than this one. He also has different eyebrows. And as I've said before, this theme almost definitely has the best artwork of any theme.
  10. I think molds of some animals that haven't been seen in years (like the dolphin, elephant, and saw shark) have been retired. It's also more expensive to mold and assemble animals with multiple parts, like the horse. This is why most animals in sets are the single mold ones like the snake and spider.
  11. Can it be a real building that has been destroyed?
  12. I think there are the official names for these in the CM7 discussion thread. I remember there were a few weird ones, like Little Red Riding Hood was "Grandma Visitor" and Space Marine was "Galaxy Patrol". Aztec Warrior ftw! I think he's the best of the 112 figures so far.
  13. According to another site, the names of the heroes are: Frank Rock: Man with sunglasses in Swamp Monster and Ghost Train Ann Lee: Woman in Mummy Carriage and Ghost Train Dr. Rodney: Robot-leg man in Vampire Hearse, The Mad Professor & His Monster, and Vampire Castle Jack McHammer: Man with robotic arm in The Mad Professor & His Monster and Vampire Castle Older explorer with unknown name: Older man with pith helmet in The Werewolf and The Mad Professor & His Monster
  14. Essentially, a warm piece of plastic is pulled down over your form (in this case the minifigure). The air is sucked out from below, which pulls the plastic down over the form, holding the shape. You can make or borrow/rent a vacuum forming machine. I have done it with wax forms, and they melted very slightly from the heat. This might loosen the joints on the minifig, so you should probably use a pretty common, printless minifig you don't care about too much to make the blister packs and then transfer the good minifigs into them. If the minifigs you want to seal have accessories or large headpieces, you should put them on the common minifigs while forming the plastic.
  15. It's a fire hazard because a piece could potentially float away and get jammed into some cooling equipment on the space station. If it got into the cooling fan for a computer, for example, it could overheat the motherboard and light it on fire. Since there is gravity on Earth, we don't have to worry about this.
  16. I think it's also in some Heroica sets, like Fortaan.
  17. Don't worry about the rings (or lack thereof) on the studs. Lego periodically changes their molds when the old ones get worn out, and when they get new ones made there are sometimes small modifications. For example, they recently changed the mold for the headlight brick, and it now has a small slit near the bottom it didn't have before.
  18. I went to TRU today and they had four unopened boxes plus the mostly empty one on the floor.
  19. fbtb screwed up the price for that in their photostream. It is really $19.99. The mummy set is the one with 90 pieces for $11.99.
  20. 1. Are you male or female? Male 2. How old are you? 16 3. How old were you when you got your first Lego set and what was it? 4 years old. This McDonald's promo was my first set. 4. What is your favourite theme (past or present) and why? Bionicle because I like the extensive storyline, and Monster Fighters and Studio Horror because I really love the classic monsters and sets that go with them. 5. Why do you like Lego? I like that I can build anything I want. It is better than something virtual because I am not limited by the program. I also like that the bricks are really high quality and I don't have to worry about two pieces not fitting together. Minifigures are also really cool.
  21. How often does TRU, Walmart, and Target have buy one get one free sales on Lego? is there a good chance that at least one of them will have one between August and December?
  22. It's $129.99.
  23. So far prices seem to be: Swamp Creature $6.99 The Mummy $11.99 Werewolf $24.99 or $29.99 The Vampire Hearse $34.99 Frankenstein $49.99 Ghost Train $79.99 Vampire Castle $99.96 Zombies $??.??
  24. The motorcycle in the hearse looks kind of like a motorcycle version of Project Satan
  25. Look at the post before you.
