  1. The swamp creature is $6.99, not $8
  2. That's what I thought. After I posted this, I found another pic showing that the set has 740 pieces, so it's probably $79.99
  3. Does the price card say $29.99 or $79.99 on this?
  4. I really liked the individual cars (10013-10017), and it's a shame that Lego doesn't make them anymore. I think it is too expensive to buy a whole train. Unfortunately, the model train hobby as a whole is dwindling away. Since kids in general aren't too big into trains, they aren't too big into Lego trains.
  5. My library has a Lego club where the kids come down a certain day of the week and build something. They get volunteers from the high school and a librarian or two to supervise. The kids can leave their design at the library on top of one of the shelves for display for a week if they want to. I think it's a good idea. It won't cost anything to anyone, and the kids get to show off their Lego skills.
  6. The guy probably wasn't allowed to talk about the zombie set because it isn't available to all retailers.
  7. That video got me more excited than a lot of other videos I've seen on the Internet tonight.
  8. That's what I was hoping for. I think the graveyard/abandoned farmhouse has been way overdone in media, and that voodoo zombies would be a nice change.
  9. Has anyone seen these in New York, other than in the Lego stores?
  10. How often are plant parts on the walls? A lot of the pictures in this thread have the flower stems in them. Is this the norm, or are these pics posted just because the stems and plant parts were there, making them seem more common?

  12. Seems like this.
  13. 3D printers are fairly expensive, so I don't think that's a problem. When they do become cheaper, they would just be custom pieces, like Brickforge or Brickarms.
  14. Are there any reviews for Tower Takedown, T-rex Trapper, or Ocean Interceptor (5883, 5886, 5888)?
  15. Mr. Toys Toyworld has the prices for these sets, but it seems the site has a huge markup on Lego. Destiny's Bounty is marked up $30, CM5 is marked up $.80, T-Rex Hunter is marked up $20, etc. The Monster Fighter prices will probably be half to 3/4 of the prices on that website.
  16. Has anyone seen these at Walmart? They aren't listed on Walmart.com, so does this mean they haven't been put in the site yet, or that Walmart isn't carrying them?
  17. Where did you see this from? 100 euro sounds like the right price for the castle, but 80 euro seems way to high for the train.
  18. In the ghost train prelim, she had the same hair as this picture. Maybe they are actually a third faction that is competing against the three Fighters we saw earlier to get the crystals.
  19. Does anyone know prices for these?
  20. The plane in the prelim ghost train sucked. This one looks so much better. I wish the Fighter vehicles had a unified color scheme though. I love the printed piece at the front of the train also.
  21. I was looking at the description of LEGO's booth at the NYC Toy Fair, and it said they would be having Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit there. Would this mean that they will have some of the next wave, or are they counting sets in the first wave under two names? Here is the text. Third and fourth last themes.
  22. Since it appears that we aren't getting pictures of the line today, does anyone who was at the toy fair have prices for the sets?
  23. I have my Bionicle sets, Boeing plane, a few space sets, and my collectable minifigs on display. The rest are broken down or in MOCs.
