Thanks Kayne Thanks, I had a bunch of gold lattices from a PaB wall and wanted to work them in to add to the gold colorscheme Thanks Legonardo, I really like them too, will probably be using some of them again (or very similar versions) Thanks, the supports for the missing ceiling were necessary so I'd have somewhere to hang my chandeliers And yes the black plates worked great, thanks for the tip

Pillars, table, and chairs inspired by Gideon's cool interior for challenge VI, and the doors were inspired by some of SoT's stuff. I had fun with the figs and furniture in this build. Also used a couple of tips from Gideon concerning presentation. Joktan and Jayan are meeting with some Hradcanny nobles in one of Hradcanny's many great halls: More pictures here: link All C&C appreciated

Almost done with my free build, great to hear of so many Mitgardian MOCs in the works EDIT: Here's my latest free build: -
Excellent tower and the landscape sets it off nicely Your technique for the beacon flames is creative and works well. The miniature tower was a great idea
-
Definitely like the sleekness of the new version. Great use of those large curved slopes Great job fitting the power functions in it as well
-
Nice ship! Always good to see Historica's fleet grow. The anchor and interior detailing are what stood out to me most

Superb dragon! The pieces used as a table cloth work really well

Cool FP in the first build and I like the slopes in the second. The orangish 1x1 brick with clip on the chimney looks a little out of place to me, as do the exposed hollow studs in the pavement of the first scene, looks like you could fit a few more pieces in there to take care of that. Great series of builds, interesting storyline too
-
Finally able to give an official comment on this I hardly know where to start, The building is superb, the tudor section especially the rocks/tree are beautiful the curved wall is tremendous and the water wheel section/chute is perfect The composition itself earns another so I give it a five thumbs up rating

You have definitely developed a style that is instantly recognizable. The landscape in this scene is tremendous, the colors blend nicely and the organic shaping is incredible

Nocturnus Guild: Homepage, Sign-up and Discussion
soccerkid6 replied to I Scream Clone's topic in Guilds of Historica
@Balthasar: Wow That looks gorgeous, love the front towers -
@Z: Interesting, much thanks for sharing all of that. So individual challenge entries would not be scored? Brick built trophies are great prizes I think the storyline would work well for Nocturnus, and give a chance to develop that guild. As well as letting lots of people build in a different style than they're used to All in all it sounds pretty good
-
Lovely build! All the SNOT work is well integrated and gives a great feel I agree with the others that said it does look a lot greener than the scene in the movie, but your landscape is excellent so that makes up for it

Cool fort, the double entrance is an interesting design and I like the interior details. The cooking area and forge area are my favorites
-
That is better, I like the addition of the green plates overhanging the cliff

The Kmart near me only had them at 25$ Glad to hear you'll be able to use your old collection soon -
Nice jousting area I like the stands and the wall in the back looks good, seems to be missing its crenelations though
-
Cool ship, I like how you used both reddish brown and dark brown Great sails too
