  1. I think quoting the entire post is a bit much...Please try to avoid doing that in the future...
  2. Wow. They took it off. The January exclusive was a mini Atlantis Neptune Sub thing. It looked pretty nice...
  3. I'm pretty sure that we can trust legomilk, as he has proven himself to be a reliable source...
  4. KimT, you know you need to change his title to "Receipts are delicious" or something similar. Thanks for the review, I saw this at Toys r Us today, but waited until it came to a store with no markup to pick it up. -darthperson
  5. A Luna figure as well as the Weasely's would just make me . I really hope that these are true! I would probably buy them all!
  6. New January Brickmaster Set- http://shop.lego.com/Product/?p=KBM27
  7. That's what she said! But really, great review. You've made me begin to consider this set, but unfortunately I don't know if my bidget will allow! -darthperson
  8. Hahahhahah That is so funny and random! I think I have a new avatar... -darthperson8

    City 2010

It looks like the seats are yellow, and the windows are blue, so some of the windows appear to be green...
  10. Ok, I really think all this hubbub about the pupils on the new figures is ridiculous. They are just two little dots! I don't see how it would ruin your collection....
  11. I was just wondering, has TLC ever considered creating a club (like the one for kids) for adults? I think that it would be a great idea, and there could be an official TLC published magazine for AFOL's (but this isn't completely necessary). But the same idea with coupons and such. Even an adult oriented Brickmaster would be nice, where the sets are more advanced and appeal to AFOLS. (small lModular Building style add-ons come to mind- EX. A newspaper or food stand) What do you think? Would you subscribe and/or pay for this? -darthperson
  12. I think that even though we may not win, it's important that we show our appreciation to the organizers of this. They really have no obligation to do this, it's solely out of generosity... It's free, so its not like you're losing anything if you don't win...and who would have money to buy 72 advent calendars for a silly message board giveaway? And by the time you receive it, its likely to be close to or after Xmas, so what point would they serve? Congrats to all the winners so far and thank you so much to everyone involved for dedicating your time and money to this! -darthperson
  13. Do you know something?
  14. I absolutely cannot wait for this! They better not be the cheap plastic, or else I am going to be majorly pissed. I love the new cheerleader, crash dummy, magician, nurse, wrestler, Native American and punk kid the most, they are the most realistic ones, and we would probably NEVER see them in any sort of City set. If you think about it, trying to figure out which is which won't be too hard if they are in polybags, as most of the figures have defining pieces. (ex- Cheerleader-pompoms, ponytail, clown-hair, etc) Leave it to Lego to get tricky at the last minute and put them in little boxes... Nice job Lego, I think you are going to have a hit. Mission 1- Get all the figures for myself. Mission 2- Get another set of figures to sell on eBay in 5-10 years -darthperson
  15. Here the word "construction" is a synonym to the word "building"... So I am assuming it is for all Lego
  16. Target has the 10196 Carousel for $200 with a savings of $50. Not bad if you plan on getting it...
  17. Yes, it does, but in the ad, they are advertised as being "Doorbusters" and say they are available while supplise last. I really wish my store had the warship, but for some reason, they didn't... And if anybody is interested, they have the 2007 City Firestation on Target.com today and tomorrow for $50. It is going to be replaced with the new one in 2010, so if you want this version, it is a good opportunity to pick it up before its gone.
  18. Did anyone's Target have the Troll Warship? Mine didn't even have a place for it, they only had the Indy set. I got the very last one at my store, as I was lazy and didn't get there until 8. When I arrived, the shelf was empty, and I asked an employee if they had anymore, and she confirmed that they were all gone. I shook it off, and was walking around the store, and went back to the Lego aisle to see ONE Temple set on the shelf. I grabbed it quick, I'm assuming that someone decided they didn't want it... So I was VERY lucky. Any other stories? -darthperson
  19. I added one to my S@H order this summer (before the price went up... ) and it is great for tons of different things, including flat tiles off of baseplates (Ex- Tiles in Creator Summer Beach House) I only have one for now, but I can't see why anyone would need more than two, unless they needed them for some sort of creative MOC.... -darthperson
  20. Thanks! Same to you! I hope you all get some good Black Friday deals tomorrow, don't spend too much money!
  21. Has anyone noticed if their local Target has been stocking up on the two sets that are going to be on sale?
  22. That had to be a colorful entry! Anyhow, here is my more likely to be G-rated entry- This year, Santa ditched the reindeer and took a Tauntaun instead.
  23. They might stock some if they are having a sale like that... You know, the stores get items to sell specifically on Black Friday its not just whatever they normally have on the shelves...
  24. I just saw the Wal-Mart ad, and there is unfortunately no Lego to be found. There is a laptop I have my eye on though... -darthperson
  25. Where did you see it? Online? Could you share a link, if so?
