  1. The 2006 X-wing has got to be up there in terms of longest shelf life.
  2. I disagree, we already have midi scale, playscale, and UCS, another price point is overkill. Hot take: the Falcon isn't even that cool as a display set, like Luke said, it is a piece of junk. Ships like Slave 1, Imperial Shuttle, N1 starfighter, Arc-170, are way more aesthetically pleasing than the Falcon.
  3. I do think ANH has been pretty well covered at this point. Besides the 3 sets I mentioned, they could remake the Sky Hopper and Droid Escape pod. I could also definitely see them doing another UCS Falcon.
  4. I'm only really asking for a few sets like the other anniversaries, Maybe a Sandcrawler, Tantive, Obi Wan vs Vader. I wouldn't expect them to do special figures but we'll see. The LSW 20-25th anniversaries were already celebrations of SW as whole. They'll probably celebrate the 30th in 2029, doing essentially the same thing in 2027-2029 is overkill. I suppose the closest thing we can look back to is 2007 which had chrome c3po in sets, and we got a few ANH sets and of course the UCS Falcon.
  5. It's most definitely incorrect. They acknowledged ESB and ROTJ 40th with multiple sets. 2017 didn't even acknowledge the 40th anniversary if I remember correctly, so it will likely be more than that.
  6. Yeah I think they should focus on ANH for it's 50th anniversary. We also have the 50th anniversary of ESB in 2030, and ROTJ in 2033, and they'll probably do sets specifically for them. A hodgepodge of sets from Star Wars is literally what we already get in year, slapping on an anniversary logo isn't going to mean anything.
  7. I would've preferred an updated Palpatine's arrest over a CTT.
  8. I think we need $100+ sets of Palpatines arrest and duel on Mustafar.
  9. I'm not joking. The Planet sets provide more value to me as I think they look cool on display, unlike micro fighters. I think the planet sets were always aimed at an older teen/adult audience, since there are no play features unlike micro fighters. chibi style looks ugly and would rather just get the microbuild which still looks like the source material, just at a small scale. Since Lego is all in on 18+ sets these days, I think it makes sense to have a display set at a low price point. Also, the bonus is you can use the planet sets as ornaments. Planet sets were peak and we all took them for granted.
  10. Time to bring back planet sets, the superior $10 subline.
  11. I hope you're not serious, it's a just a meme.
  12. Yeah that'd be sick, they could have the hallway interior instead of Leia's office. We could finally get rebel friend. Also Lego needs to bring back real box art for these UCS sets, no more black boxes.
  13. I want a Tantive IV, the size of the 2001 set with an interior.
  14. I think Clone sets sell too well for them to ever stop.
  15. I'm not certain a new Tie advanced would be better though, considering the downscaling, not to mention the pricing. We've been in a dark age since 2020-2021. That's when the downscaling started ruining sets like the imperial shuttle, slave 1 etc. It seems like we've gotten more and more 18+ sets every year since 2020. Minifigures went downhill, not just clones. Pricing didn't really become insane until this year though. People hated on the 2015-2019 era at the time (including me lol), but the sets were very high quality, people just didn't like the source material. The OT, R1, and prequels sets from that time are looked at fondly.
  16. You could probably part out the 2016 Vader's Tie Advanced for a reasonable price, and it still holds up.
  17. I don't see the appeal of a midi scale AT-AT. Capital ships I can kind of understand, but an AT-AT is just unnecessary. There are so many cool playsets they could make in that price range instead.
  18. Ok so I just rewatched the scene and it's 1 assassin droid with around 5 b1s that fight the clones, although it is Padme who kills the assassin droid.
  19. Yeah the scene with Fox is what I was thinking of, it's been a while since I've seen the CW movie though.
  20. Well yeah in that case I'd rather them be separate. I never hated the assassin droid battle pack though, I always thought they were cool as a kid and the speeder was nice. If I remember correctly assassin droids fought clones in the Clone Wars movie.
  21. I disagree, I think it would be cool. We haven't had a proper plain p1 army builder since 09, the 2022 minifigure pack wasn't good for army building considering it had a clone commander and it was a Lego store exclusive. Also P1 >>> P2; P1 clones translate better into Lego.
  22. That's a nice build although I prefer the all gray look from AOTC and the EU.
  23. Imagine a play scale Acclamator with Delta squad and trandoshans.
  24. Just give me a Kyle Katarn figure.
  25. I'd add 2013 too The diorama's were for the most part, overpriced OT slop imo.
