  1. Well, the first DC wave was mostly Batman, so I think that the second wave may have a greater quantity of other heroes in it. If there are System sets, though, the question is whether they will be based on the series like the Spongebob sets are, or based on the movie.
  2. Umm, I think you may have your references wrong.
  3. Spectacular! Can't wait to see pictures (Unless they are on the site and just won't load for me). Maybe this signifies System Phineas & Ferb sets in the future?
  4. Any set based on Batman:Arkham Asylum or Batman: Arkham City would be great. So, Rooftops of Arkham City $300. About 3,000 pieces. The church where Two-Face is, the tower where Batman found Joker and Harley Quinn, and the docks w/ Deadshot. Minifigs: Batman Harley Quinn (AC version) Joker (AC version) Deadshot (AC version) 2x Joker Goon (AC version) Mr. Hammer Two-Face (AC version) Catwoman (AC version) Two-Face Henchman (AC version) 3x Inmates The Entry $40-50. About 400-500 pieces. Includes the Arkham City gate and the circular area of fences where Bruce Wayne fights Penguin. Minifigs: Bruce Wayne 2x Inmates Penguin (AC version) Arkham City Security Official
  5. I've been hoping for more sets of TFU after the first, and it has never happened, so I'm not going to be holding my breath for more TOR sets, unless these fly off shelves, which is unlikely considering the prices. Now that the prices have, more or less, officially been announced, my chances of building a Sith/Republic army went out the window. Maybe these preices are innacurate, but that seems pretty unlikely. I can always hope, though. @CF WeaZZel: The 'rumored TFU set' would be the Felucian Starfighter.
  6. Hey Tup, thanks for the heads-up. I hope you and Sparky have a good time on vacation! Meanwhile, I have a suprise or two up my sleeve, but I still need to make the final adjustments. My new ones will probably go up sometime this afternoon. EDIT: Here's my first, Monarch: Monarch was a dedicated member of the 212th, though he was obsessed with striking fear into the hearts of his enemies. He decorated his armor with eyes, but the decorations became ironic when he lost his sight to Grievous. He continued fighting, though, and died in the battle with the 501st on Umbara.
  7. Still not sold on Stormer, though he does look better once I realized the connection between the cuffs and the right leg looks to be the same as the normal Heroes. Although I'm still only buying the villains.
  8. Well, seeing as the non-licensed themes are rapidly disappearing, this is an entirely plausible opinion. The LoTR books/movies are and were wildly successful, and what with the release of the 2 new movies and probable video games to go alongside, I would think that LoTR would become pretty successful. Also, as the amount of Kingdoms sets has decreased drastically from the first wave, it would seem that TLG is phasing it out, as it were. The 'last blast' of the Joust set seems to confirm my opinion, though I am quite curious as to the Black Falcon faction introduced in aforemetioned set. That faction could very well become the pro/antagonist of a new era of Castle/Kingdoms sets. It would really be a relief to have a faction other than the Crownies in play, rather than the cliched Crownies vs Invading Faction sets, as the Dwarves vs. Orcs line was. Although I think that the Black Falcons may remain exclusive to the Joust set for now, it would be an interesting move on TLG's part to create a whole new faction and place them as main characters. The return of the Wolfpack or something like it would be very interesting as well.
  9. Take it away! Take it away! Seriously, I can never un-remember that movie. I still have serious mental problems as a result of watching it. My list of dream licenses: Percy Jackson & The Olympians/other Rick Riordan series Diary of a Wimpy Kid Jurassic Park (Since JP 4 is coming out and since TLG already made dino molds, not entirely impossible).
  10. Yes, it is. Nice funnies, everyone.
  11. Oh. My. God. That torso will be perfect for Sand Darth Stalker! Really nice review, this just convinced me on the buying front. I must have multiples!
  12. I'm saying that TLG will look for the easy way out of a situation, and that would look somewhat like a Spinosarus, besides the facts that you mentioned. Also, since the T-Rex head is attached by a pin, they could make a new head mold and a new arm mold rather than remolding the entire basic dino form.
  13. Now that I looked over the pics again, I'm really hating Stormer XL. He deserves better than this. Seriously, they hung his cuffs in between his legs.
  14. Well, if you look at Collectible Minifigs Series 7, there is armor that closely resembles the Spartan armor from Halo, which could mean that TLG is preparing to replace the non-licensed Space themes with Halo when/if Mega Blox loses the license. Just my opinion.
  15. I wouldn't list either of those characters on the 'cool-looking' list for kids, more on the 'cool-looking-but-parents-won't-let-me-get-because-it-would-scare-my-baby-brother/sister/me' list. Though I would love either of those.
  16. Well, that seems to be the common mindset in the Sci-Fi forum, not that I check there much anymore. Anyway, the ideas here are great, but I'm just not sure that there is another wave in the making, as we haven't gotten any rumours yet. Maybe this will be a Winter thing, but from the way I look at it, this theme seems to be taking the PQ route. Not that I would be against a Spinosaurus, though. All it would take is the T-Rex mold and a new spine mold and voila! Spinosaurus!
  17. Dak walks into the library, feeling a little remorseful that he had to make an enemy in the Hall so quickly. But, he was here with a job, and he wouldn't let De'kra down. He walked up to Byblos. "Excuse me, sir librarian, but do you have any information on spirits, ghosts and the like? I am curious, as I have heard many stories about them, and I'm not sure which account to believe."
  18. "Ah. De'kra, have you ever thought you might be a spirit? The description you gave matches my idea of a spirit pretty well. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to do something." Dak walks over to Sylph. "Nice bat. Where did you get it? I've seen someone use bats as spies before. Are you using it as a spy as well? Nice 'sleeping' act, by the way. Too bad I can see through it, otherwise it would be perfect." With that, Dak walks to the Library to do some research on spirits.
  19. Can I still join? I have the figure ready, but I just need to know what I need to do to join. Thanks!
  20. Okay, I have a really retarded question. Is there a list of TOR ships anywhere that I can refer to for reference for MOCs? I just got back to my collection, so I need ideas, and I really love TOR.
  21. Not as far as I know. Generally, I'm thinking that Dino is either going to be a) PQ-esque, with only one wave or b), a wave every winter to make room for the AC waves in the summer.
  22. Noticing that no gaze was being directed at him, Dak calms down, a little. He thinks about approaching the person who seemed to hold secrets in a place of such value, but thinks better of it. Until he was on a Quest, he didn't need enemies, not until he had a bit more field experience. Instead, he turned back to De'kra. "As I said, I don't know much about Shades, but I'm assuming you are an abnormal one?"
  23. "We all die, De'kra, stop bashing yourself about it. I'm no expert on Shades, so I don't know how long they live, but they do die, right? Maybe they don't. Whatever. Anyway, no, people are not supposed to be listening in on other people's conversations when the conversations deal with personal matters." Dak shoots a glare in Sylph's direction. If looks could kill, Sylph would be deader than a doornail right now. Dak half mutters to himself,"Maybe I should get a butler. That, or a chicken. Either of those could watch my back for me. Hmmmm."
  24. 2012 is Season 2.
