  1. Amazing starfighter 'SI-Mocs', where and when can I order?
  2. Hello all, I just would like to request a face and torso decal for Darth Nihilus, if at all possible. Reference: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/File:DNs.jpg
  3. Good drawing 'VMLN8R', although that alien clinger looks a little too happy. The actual one has more of a "scared/angry" look.
  4. Interesting point 'lightningtiger', the poses are even the same
  5. A few weeks ago I got: 1 Battle for Naboo 1 Clone Trooper BP (2011) 3 Clone Trooper BPs (2009) 1 Tank Droid 1 Bounty Hunter Assault Gunship 1 Clone Turbo Tank
  6. First of all, even though Gree was camoflaged in Ep.III, Gree looks like the minifig does in TCW. Here: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/CC-1004 Second, the issue with the commando droids is not their pose, it is that they use SBD legs instead of BD legs. The UCS is a B-Wing, this has been confirmed.
  7. Venom, Carnage, B:AC Riddler, TDK Joker, TDKR Bane, revamped Robin, new Nightwing, new Harley Quinn, and overall, new Killer Croc.
  8. Because they are using the old masks, thus the old heads, the old feet on Breez, and this all leads to the ineviteable. One or more of those pieces that uses the old joint system is going to crack or break
  9. I mean the Marvel Sandman, yes. I have never heard of either of those other Sandmen, but they sound very interesting. Wikipedia for me today!
  10. This is exactly why I hate 1.0 heroes. Don't get me wrong, I loved Bionicle, despite it's obvious flaws in posability and plastic strength. But my Bionicle's joints have lasted many years with constant rebuilding and posing. From what I remember, since 2008, only one of my Bionicle pieces has cracked. But I got Mark Surge from the first wave of Hero Factory, and in two weeks of the same treatment as my Bionicles get, lo and behold, an arm and a leg are cracked. Also, Furno's mask looks....wierd with that microphone thing. Surge's mask is okay, but I prefer 2.0 greatly. To prove the strength issue further, I bought Surge 2.0 when I first saw him in the store (somewhere around January 15th), and his joints haven't cracked yet. But now, with "Breakout", they are switching back, more or less, to the old joint system.
  11. This theme sounds very interesting! A lot of potential in DC/Marvel, I should think. Just imagine a LEGO Sandman! The minifigs look very nice, especially Poison Ivy! I can't wait for 2012. (though my wallet wishes it would never come )
  12. Okay, now I see what you mean. The minifig uses Palpatines shoulder capes for the pauldron( ), so in relation to the reference, the pauldron is the wrong shape. But as I said before, it's LEGO, so they can't make it perfect. Why couldn't the pauldron be one new-molded cape piece, which would sove these problems?
  13. The reason that, as you say, the pauldron and helm form a /\ instead of a \/ is because that's how it is in the show and the movies. If you look at seasons 1 and 2 of TCW, the pauldrons look like the current ones in production by TLG. But in the Season 3 ARCs and the Season 4 clone officers and ARCs, the pauldron looks like the new one, as seen here: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/ARC_trooper_armor With this reference, the new pauldron looks perfect to it's model. I admit that the helmet may be a little too tall, but hey, it's LEGO, and it can't fit the reference perfect. This was the best that they could do, and I accept that.
  14. Wait, you have seen a list of LOTR sets? If so, do share it with us!
  15. Great MOC, and wonderful brickbuilt dinos Lego JP builder The diorama is really well done, but why are the motorcycle drivers going off a cliff
  16. Just watched the first three episodes on Youtube, must say that this was the worst arc yet, didn't come close to the Mandalore arc like I thought it would. How could they completely ruin a storyline with so much potential for awesome fight scenes? Jar-Jar was way too smart, and why couldn't they kill him? The oppurtunity was...alas...wasted. I would have changed my opinion about these episodes if they had gotten rid of Jar-Jar once and for all.
  17. Wow. Just wow. This is amazing, and it only took you 10 hours to build? The detail is spot-on, and it's HUGE!
  18. Hero Factory Breakout ? Why would they choose this when there are so many great ideas out there. Wild West and flying heroes come to mind, but there are many others. I have been skeptical about this theme since the start, and was actually starting to like it with 3.0, but now this.... I hate 1.0 heads! Why did they have to reuse those awful designs? The only sets I'm getting are Rocka (for the Bionicle-like mask) and Toxic Reapa (for the lime green.) I may also get Evo, but the rest of the heroes are
  19. I have to disagree with you on this point. The pauldron does fit the minifig well, and appears to be made of the same paper as capes, which is how it should have been all along, since 2008. The paper pauldron is a good decision on TLG's part, since in posability it fits the show better. The kama should have been paper as well, but that will probably come later. The only part I don't like about the ARC is that the "face" plate on the helmet is grey instead of white. Also, does anyone else think that a regular clone helmet will fit on the commando droid?
  20. My favorite ship from SW has to be the ARC-170, just because it is so swooshable. If you made it blue, though, it would fit wonderfully into the Alien Conquest theme because it has many similarities to the Jet-Copter. It also has three cockpits, which makes for an interesting shape from the top. The six wings also give it many play features (eg. opening and closing the wings from landing to attack positions.) But if you were looking for something from the OT, I would have to say the TIE/in. It just has a cool shape, and can be modified to make a great alien or human interceptor or scout fighter. The "double-dagger" design on the wings just looks so smooth, especially if you tile over the wings entirely.
  21. 2012 is going to be a great year for Lego sets! As you can probably tell from my username, I am a huge fan of SW, and these sets are a great success on TLG's part. So here are my two cents on these sets: 9488: The minifigs are really the selling point of this set. The commando droids look awesome, if a little too tall. The ARC is amazing, but is it Commander Colt or the red ARC seen in the first episode of Season 3? 9489: Finally, I can get more stormtroopers and Rebels in a smaller set. Why is the tree gray, though? 9490: More stormies! That dirt printing is nice. 9491: Geonosians and a new clone! The geonosian wings look amazing, though I assume the zombie's (I think the zombie is the gray one) wings should be tattered. Gree is very true to his "real" character, though Barris is with those huge eyes. 9492: The TIE is really cool, but the cockpit could be better. The minifigs are really good, though, and I will get the set for them. 9493: Don't know about this one. I personally love 6212, but sadly do not own it (yet). This could be my second chance to have this iconic ship, but not sure if I have the funds. All in all, 2012 is full of great designs from TLG, and my wallet will really hurt in January.
  22. I think that the lime green isn't snake camoflage, but camoflage to blend in with the plains in the background of the sets. I also love the ninja's new outfits, and Kendo Zane is But on the other side of the spectrum, Fang-Suie is . I hope that those buckteeth(buckfangs?) change in the final design. But overall, the sets are all awesome, especially the snake-jet and Kai's blade cycle. Poor Zane...
  23. I just saw these pictures, and I must say, this theme looks awesome. I loved Dino Attack back in 2006, though I only got the four smallest sets. This theme looks even better than that, since the dinos actually look like they could be real. The tranquilizer guns look amazing as well. Now to rustle up my old Dino Attack dinos for an epic dino war!
