Oh dear. I seem to have, without inteding to, conformed to the colored-text trend!

Dak sat, as usual, alone. No one to talk to, nothing. No Quest to go on. No monster in the town square to fight. Maybe he should go tease the town watchmen. What has gotten into him? He used to be able to find enjoyment in the simplest of places, but now things are so much more complicated. Things haven't been simple since prison, he supposes. Since then, he's had the other to worry about, the one who was the real criminal, the one he called Shadeaux. Maybe.... Dak suddenly jumps from his seat, pure determination in his eyes. He can get rid of Shadeaux, not by rejecting him as he has done for so many years, but by accepting him. Dak, in that instant, realizes one simple fact that stops the constant pressure on his mind, the constant stream of evil intentions. This simple fact is that he can't do anything about his heritage any more than he can do something about his mother's death. In releasing his constant worrying, a new sense of duty and calm washes over him, and he straightens, as if all the weight in the world has been taken off his shoulders. He stops concentrating on the past. His vision swims suddenly, and the colors of the world seem brighter, the details sharper. He sees Guts sit down, Nerwen swat at a fly buzzing at her ear, Knifk talk to a Barbarian, and the man in the metal mask stir, all in the same instant. He walks over to Guts. "Split personality gone."

LEGO Superheroes 2012 Rumours & Discussion

Hmmmm, that CA looks quite good. Might get multiples for the torso and head. Iron Man doesn't quite look as good as I would like, but still a nice minifig. Hulk looks better than I expected, although I seriously doubt he will have a regular minifig head in real plastic. Wolverine looks fine, maybe a tad better than I expected, but nothing really special to me. Now, I want to see the villains before I make any purchase decisions. If there are Nazi Soldiers in the CA Avenging Cycle, that will equal multiple buy for me. If not......not. If Loki looks good, then I might get the Cosmic Cube Escape. If not, the purchase becomes significantly less likely. So, I reserve judgement. -
Whoops. Thanks, I really think he's one of the better ones I've made. Yeah, but I'll be redoing Phase II Gree very, very soon..... So be on the lookout for that! Meanwhile, I finished: Jek (Phase I - Coruscant Guard) C&C welcome! (Rys and Thire are coming soon)

The Future of Ninjago
Darth Nihilus replied to ReZourceman's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Of course it would; Sci-Fi makes everything better! Sorry, I just was voicing my opinion. -
The Future of Ninjago

Wonderful idea! That would be perfect! Also, here's another one: The Green Ninja kills Garmadon, but since he's already undead, it just kills his mortal body and he returns again as a skeleton to get revenge on the Ninjas, this time bringing a larger army of more powerful skeletons created by merging new skeleton bodies with the immortal spirits of the previous Skeletons and Snakes, thus making a massive horde of now skeletons and Serpentine rising to defeat the ninja! -
The Future of Ninjago

I mainly agree with Aanchir here: This theme is creative. It goes against all standards set so far by other, similar themes (Ninjas from Castle) and goes in its very own direction, combining elements from some of my favorite themes (The living skeletons from Castle, the ninjas such as I mentioned before, the dragons of Castle, the ridiclously futuristic vehicles of Sci-Fi, etc, etc) and takes them in a completely new and unforseen direction. If you are 25+ years old as you say, would you not agree that you are using the method of speaking on this site to your advantage? Since you will never meet many of us in real life, you seem to think that you can say whatever you want to us, regardless of whether or not it is rude, and since we won't meet you, there are no consequences. Would you say things like you say on here to us in real life? I think not. But, back on topic: How exactly are the Ninjago toys in any way 'CHEAP plastic toys spawned by a TV series'? The toys are in NO WAY cheap to make, nor are they cheap to buy; yet regardlesss, they sell. And how is it going against 'what made Lego the perfect alternative to all those other lazy toys'? Do you want to know what makes LEGO? Not you, not the buyer. Not even the sets. No, what makes LEGO perfect is its perfect ability to be made into anything. Ninjago does not go against that any more than any other LEGO set. You can still make things from your imagination with it. It still encourages individuality, more than any CITY set could. I'm not ashamed of myself for loving this theme, and neither should anyone else. It is a beautiful idea, and a well executed one at that. LEGO outdid themselves here, and I say that they should continue. This theme is most likely going to remain for quite a while, so live with it. Go back to your quiet, conformed LEGO CITY and leave the rest of us to our own themes, no matter how radical. -
The Future of Ninjago

Stop trolling. If you don't have anything productive to say, don't say anything. Back on topic: I really want aliens in Ninjago, that would be frickin' awesome! -

If you don't like this theme, fine. I'm not especially fond of some of the Ninjago sets either. Quite a few of them are <insert that tiresome argument> a little too much for my tastes, but that's not the point. You and LegoBrickSteve say that no-one likes Ninjago, but guess what? I have evidence that both kids and adults love it. I have 2 nephews and 2 nieces, ages 14, 11, 9, and 6. They all love Ninjago, and save up all their allowance for it and Collectible Minifigs. The workers at WalMart literally tell me when I walk into the store with them whether or not they have Ninjago left. That's how obsessed these four are with the theme. They know the storyline inside out. They could tell you the difference between Bonezai and Frakjaw in an instant, regardless of whether or not they can see the minifig. They are such fans, their parents (My sister and her husband) even grasp the basics of the storyline and theme! And literally, when I walked into Target the other day, they had every LEGO theme in stock except one. Ninjago. The kids cleared them out of Ninjago. Literally. So that, my friend, is where you and LegoBrickSteve are wrong. Ninjago is wildly successful, at least where I live. -
General Discussion and Announcements

I think he's talking about the Curse of IMHOTEP game. I totally love that emo! -
I officially have a new avie. Aragorn looks amazing.

Really nice new troopers, ADHO. By the way Sparky, I found the link. EDIT: Finished Gree (Phase I - Green Battalion);
-
In the Clone Wars Season 4 Discussion thread, there was a link to somewhere (I think the episode guide) that mentioned Stone but not Thire, so if this trooper is going to appear in that arc, I would assume it is Stone. However, I could be wrong. What was your source for this info?

Dak yanks himself up and stems the bleeding from his head. "No, I'm alright," he said to the cleric rushing over. "I'll be fine." He lurches forward with a staggering step, then recovers his balance before he falls. He speaks to Guts. "Suprising. You have more mettle than I expected. Don't think it will save you, however. Next time, I will prevail! Now, I'm off to the bar to get a drink. Perhaps tomorrow we might have a rematch." Dak recovers enough to nimbly dodge the Barbarian's screaming charge. "Whoa, easy there. You don't want to kill the guy. Or maybe you do. Whichever. Maybe Barbarians think differently than Rogues." Dak mutters this last part to himself and continues walking, out the door, down the hallway, and back to the bar. OOC: Wow, really didn't expect a KO like that in the first round! I thought the battle might last a few rounds at least, what with me and Guts being the same level and power. Still, I must commend Scubacarrot on his victory! Don't think there won't be a reckoning in our rematch, though....

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 6 Discussion

My Walmart has no LEGO left..... They haven't had any since Jan 1st. Wonder why they haven't restocked yet. -
Welcome back Sparky! Just a heads-up, but that isn't Thire. It is Stone, from the Season 1 episode the Gungan General. In that episode, he was Phase I, but apparently he will be reappearing in Phase II, as Sparky showed him.

Or they are mutated in a secret laboratory to turn them into FRIEND DOLLS!!! Really love this MOC, all the weapons on the walls are great touches. Also love that you didn't just make a room to kill somebody in, you also made somebody be killed in it! All it needs now is a Friends skeleton...
-
Dak hurries into the arena and drops his bag, fumbling in it for his weapons and leaving everything else. He quickly runs over and jumps into the pit, landing with one hand down to avoid any preliminary attacks from Guts. He then draws his now-upgraded dagger from his boot and leaps forwards, slicing at Guts's torso from the front row.

Eurobricks Star Wars Community Build
Darth Nihilus replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Well, I would happily host a TFU CB if no one else is going to, though there are certainly much better MOCers than me. I do love the games though, so that might influence a burst of creativity in me, for a short while at least. If there are no plans for a TFU CB, that's perfetly fine, because I can alway MOC scenes from the game on my own. -
The Gungun Warrior torso as a fencing vest. I'm using it for Dak right now.

After the RotS CB, could there possibly be TFU and TFUII CBs? I would really love that. -

What can I say? I'm a hardcore gamer. Also, I already had the console versions of the PlayStation and the Nintendo.
