No, it isn't. I've tried that connection, and the only way for that piece to attach to the upper arm of a villain or hero is if you don't snap the piece on entirely. Also, there are no visible bar pieces on the armor in the picture.

A new Hero in the Hall. It seemed all too ordinary these days. Dak noticed the knife hanging at the young Rogue's belt. He looked at his own knife, its former glory tarnished with bloodstains, and smiles grimly. It wasn't easy, being a Hero, and sometimes you had to kill to do the right thing. What was the true difference between right and wrong? Both sides killed eventually, they just had different ways of doing it. Dak smiles again, this time with a small hint of a smirk hidden deep in the smile. This Rogue might have a lot to learn. Maybe Dak could help him on his way. He straightens from his place at the bar, the Tfel sword on his back clanking against his vest. The barely concealed knife at his waist swung against his leg, and he stepped away from the bar, towards the young halfling, who had been trying to look fierce. The dried blood on Dak's face stood out against his pale skin, and his tunic was dyed dark red with the blood from the crocodile's swing at him. He stepped forward, and came to face the newcomer. "Welcome. You're new here, so you don't have field experience. Before you get out there, however, I have a question for you, halfling. What is the most important thing, that must be protected at all costs? Answer truth, and from your heart."

A new neck piece for a hoodie, a new 'longer' hood piece, recolors of the existing hood piece, new lightsaber handles. Those are the main new pieces I want.
-
I suppose.....But it didn't work on me! ?

Oh, why do you tease us so? I can't say how many new limb pieces, but I do see a new armor piece on Voltix's upper arm, another on Core Hunter's lower leg, and one more on Core Hunter's upper arm.

Hmm. This movie looks like a nice film and all, but I'm just not seeing where the original Battleship game comes in here. Aliens? Not in the game. I don't see anything resembling the game in this movie, and even though it would be a nice stand-alone film, them pawning it off as being 'based on the classic game' is just a little bit retarded to me. The name would be fine, the endorsement by Hasbro is fine, but saying it is based on something with absolutely no resemblance to it is just a marketing ploy, and is negatively affecting my opinion of the movie overall. Other than that issue, however, I do think that it will be a great film, not like the mind-numbing action films we've seen recently. If the actual film does end up having a resemblance to the game, however, I will be very pleasantly suprised indeed.

I'll just comment on one: 9. For sure, the winner is the Skeleton Ship Attack. It was my very first Castle set, and I still have it built. The construction of the ship is, in my opinion, very clever, and it was a very good start to my collection. The other set may have civilians, but the Skeleton Ship has more action, which is what a lot of kids want in a set. It also has those beautiful dual-colored BURPs. Go Castle!

What's the price of this? This is the only MINI I have any interest in, and I've never bought a polybag MINI before. This looks like a pretty good army builder, so I'll be going to my Toys "R" Us if it's decently priced. If I go, then I'll probably pick up a Clone Walker BP or two as well. Nice review for a small set, I do wonder though: Why did they change the slope at the front? It isn't more accurate than the old way, nor does it save manufacturing costs as far as I know, so is this simply just to squeeze more money out of us? Or is there another reason?

I'll take Lupin's classroom. And I'll be building for Slytherin. I'll start my project soon, hopefully it'll be finished in the next week or so. This is going to be so awesome!

LEGO Star Wars 2012 Pictures and Rumors
Darth Nihilus replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Aww yeah, Boba Fett microfig. Money will be going there for sure. -
Ultra Sonic Raider is a must-have. The other three might grow on me, but that one is a sure purchase. Great way to get most of the main characters.

Speeda Demon. Okay, I can live with that name. But that is epic! I love the motorcycle, much better than the Furno Bike. Also, Nex is looking pretty sweet with that mask. I <3 Breakout!

"I am. Name's Dak, I'm a Rogue, and that's all you need to know about me. This here," Dak points to Guts, "is Guts, also a Rogue. Over there," Dak points to Knifk and the Barbarian talking, "is Knifk, a Knight, and another who I haven't met yet, who I believe is also signed up for the Quest in question. Now, over there," Dak points to Sarick, "is Sarick, a Mage such as yourself. You might want to get aquainted with him, I don't know much about magic and such as you Mages practice, and he, being a mage, does. He might have more common ground with you, you know? But, stay if you wish. I don't mind, but I'm not sure about Guts."

Can I make a monstrous 2000+ part MOC in real life for the challenges? My character will be up today, with my entry for the first category hopefully set for tomorrow. -
Crap, and I thought that the theory of Earth Blue would be right! Front, why must you tease us so?! I'm dying here!

Review: 6858 Catwoman Catcycle City Chase
Darth Nihilus replied to Masked Builder's topic in LEGO Licensed
That purple bike piece would be perfect for a HALO Ghost! This is a really nice set, and a nice review too! I might pick up one or two, after I get my SW haul of course. -
Eyeballing it, out of my somewhere-around-35-40,000-piece collection, about %15 is SW. Not as much as I would like, but still quite a bit!

Or a Tower set (I can't remember the name of the tower) with Gandalf, Saruman the White, and an eagle to carry Gandalf away? That would be great!

The Future of Ninjago
Darth Nihilus replied to ReZourceman's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
What? I really, really love that figure! -
"No, not Eubric prison. Somewhere far, far worse than that. This was a place of murderers, the very worst. Maybe my uncle thought that it would knock some sense into me, or maybe he had no control over the events....I do not know, nor do I care. If he wished to knock some sense into me, so be it. That place certainly did it's job. After I made it out, barely, I headed straight for Eubric, with one...er, small detour." Dak seems reluctant to reveal any more.

My favorite video: There are quite a few bleeps and sexual references, however, so kiddies beware!
-
That would be great, if they made a poster with Sam and Merry and Frodo fighting some Nazgul. That would be amazing! ...... MUST HAVE MULTIPLES OF WEATHERTOP! By the way, you have the same avie as me! Apparently I'm not the only one in love with the Aragorn figure.

The Future of Ninjago
Darth Nihilus replied to ReZourceman's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
That's fine, most of my comments weren't directed at you anyway. But I do agree the theme has its flaws, just that they are not so large as some of us may want us to believe. And trust me, it's a small Target, so Ninjago doesn't have much shelf space to begin with. My avatar is the official LEGO Aragorn, yes. There's a link to the poster that I'm using in the LEGO Historic Themes forum, in the thread "Lord of the Rings 2012". I'm so totally in love with that figure. I'm even using it as a screensaver on my computer. -
"I suppose it doesn't matter whether I tell you or not. For some reason, my old self thought it off great importance that the truth was kept secret from you. Odd, it doesn't seem that important to me anymore. Anyway, I was there for murdering one of my uncle's guards he had posted to keep me under lock and key. It was one of my moments of grave misjudgment, that led to much suffering." Dak now seems to hold himself in a different manner, a bit less worried, perhaps. He seems nonchalant, as if nothing of any importance to him is going on, yet a new fire burns in his eyes, brighter than ever before. It would appear that he is becoming a bit more like the elf family he had described to Guts, not caring about anyone but himself.

LEGO Superheroes 2012 Rumours & Discussion
Darth Nihilus replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Licensed
Good point. Now that I took a second look, Iron Man still is a little iffy, and Cap is looking better and better.
