Agree. Disagree. The snake theme is very good in my opinion, though you are right on the dragon front. I actually think that many of the sets have exellent shaping and parts, as well as looking good overall. The Destiny's Bounty is actually one of the worst Ninjago sets ever, IMO. And for the record, Ninjas vs Pirates is an awful idea. I would much rather see the return of the Skellies rather than that. Especially if they kill Garmadon in Rise of the Snakes and he comes back as a black skeleton.

The clever mix of System and HF parts in this MOC is outstanding. Much better than the official version. My only nitpick is that there is no badge, but that is minor compared to the extreme awesomeness of this.

Thanks to my botched case of reverse psycology and overall idiocy. I will regret that moment for the rest of my Mafia career.

Well, that depends on whether the horse has an adjustable head like previous versions. If it does, then the running idea would be quite plausible, and may be used in future sets. Although a fully articulated horse would be preferable, I would accept this rearing mold, as it has quite a few possibilities for MOCs.

Perfect shaping on the tentacles and eyestalk of the mother alien. The destroyed pavement is a very nice touch as well. My only complaint is the shaping of the mother alien's mout, since it has teeth instead of the gooey tentacle things that the small versions have. Also, how did you make the Alien Clinger be jumping onto the woman's face? It looks very realistic.

CW is pretty much the thing that makes money these days, and by my watch, TPM really sucked. The droid vehicles are okay, but they just don't match up to the ones in TCW in terms of creativity. Besides, I will not tolerate another army-building droid set with Jar-Jar!

Let me reword my post a little bit. What I meant was that perhaps the pieces from the Space Marine could possibly be used for a HALO series of sets. I worded it pretty badly. Anyway, I agree on the rating front, but for one point: Kids don't care about the rating. I have a cousin who is 9 and has every HALO game to date, along with all the Call of Duty games save one. I think that TLG may 'test the water', as it were, and perhaps they are releasing the Space Marine as a forerunner to see how a series of sets similar or licensed with HALO would do in today's market.

Also, in 2009, we got the Brickmaster-exclusive CTT, and then in 2010 we got the System CTT. So, if TLG is considering a CW-era MTT, I say go ahead! Especially if it follows the example of the last version and has about 14 droids.

Does anyone else think that the Space Marine may signify a possible HALO license in the future? The armor and helmet bear a striking resemblance to the Spartans from the HALO series.

No, we don't know what it is, but at a guess I would say that it might be an Imperial starfighter from TFU from Felucia. I do own the second game and no, there is not a mission to Felucia. I think that the Felucian Starfighter was probably a translation mistake for the Fury-class starfighter, though. Although if the Felucian Starfighter is an exclusive for TFU, I will be overjoyed!

Well, when I build a large diorama or small MOC I build from the top down, but when I'm working on a larger MOC or a smaller diorama I build from the bottom up.

Me too, but Colt and Havoc are unlikely as they are dead. Most likely we'll get Echo and Fives later on. Hopefully TLG will make more Kamino sets as well, I would love to see a Trident-class assault craft.
