I just finished rereading the Percy Jackson & The Olympians series, as well as the current 2 books of the Heroes of Olympus series. The integration of everything mythical is stunning, as well as the descriptions and the overall plotlines of both series. I also am loving the character development of Nico di Angelo, what with losing one sister and gaining another. Riordan is truly a master of his craft.

"I was hoping you'd say that. I guess now we'll see who's the better Rogue, now won't we?" OOC: Really, I was trying to instigate a fight there. EDIT: "I accept, of course!"

Wait, what? The Marvel sets are cheaper than the DC ones? That makes absolutely no sense. At all.

"Oh, sometimes it seems a bit funny to me, but not often. Well, it depends on the type of elf. You see, the elves from my family, or at least the ones I've met, are quite rude and don't seem to care about anything or anybody besides themselves. But, many other Elves I've met, like Nerwen, are gentler and care a bit more about other's feelings. I signed up for both Quests open right now, so hopefully I have a better chance of getting in one. Hey, have you checked out the Heroica Arena yet? It seems a pretty good way to relieve stress and all, but I much prefer fighting in real danger than the controlled circumstances of an arena."

VIP Exclusive 850458 LEGO® Minifigures set
Darth Nihilus replied to Thego's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Oh god, this is such a laugh. Gimme a second..... Okay, I calmed down. But seriously, this is hilarious. Only one of the 'army-builder' characters made it, and at $15 it won't be very great to army-build. .....But it is still hilarious. -
Monster Fighters 2012
Darth Nihilus replied to Darth Nihilus's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
This is almost exactly my viewpoint. I would much rather have a Loch Ness Monster than another Frankenstein or Mummy. -
I love the narglatch ACPin. Where did you get the Obi-Wan torso? It fits the show appearance well. Also, exactly how many Freeco Speeder sets do you have?

Dak, crestfallen at no answer from the librarian on the matter of spirits, walks back into the Hall. He notices a new sign next to the Questboard which reads: New Duelling Arena! Test your skills against other Heroes! "Not a bad idea. A little later, though." Noticing Guts on the other side of the Hall, Dak strolls over. "Hello Guts, glad to see you back in town. Have you thought about any other Quests yet? You did really well on the Darkstar one."

The Curse of IMHOTEP - Confirmation & Discussion
Darth Nihilus replied to Rufus's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
This looks like a great game, especially since it is made up mostly of veteran players. I'll be following closely. -
You guys flatter me. I'm working on myself and Sparky right now. Glad you guys like them, I took quite a few creative liberties. The first sniper design looks great. Also, I really like the Stormtrooper version of your 315th trooper, it looks great.
-
Well, here they are (I still need to make Sparky, but otherwise, they're all done): ADHO (Armor designs based on Ad-Hoh) Grenade (I took some creative liberties with this one because I didn't want to copy the existing Grenade design) Man Sarge. C&C welcome, and as always, pictures link to their respective Flickr pages.

Been saying this for a couple months in here, but for what it's worth: TFU sets!!!!!!!!!!!!

Eurobricks Star Wars Community Build
Darth Nihilus replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I'd be interested in MOCing in one of those, or both. By the way, don't expect me at the TPM CB, I really hate that movie. -
Deifinite multiples of this for me. My nonexistent Geonosian army needs building for when CB: AotC comes around. Not in love with Bariss, but she'll match my Luminara, so I'm not complaining. Recolours of the hood piece are always welcome as well. Also, I would like to say Thanks a LOT to TLG, they released the first pictures of this set MINUTES after the paint dried on my custom Gree!
-
Well, that would mean that I would have a squad named Sarge, Man, ADHO, and Grenade. I think it just might work! Except I won't use my ARCs as that squad. I'll make a new one instead, with markings based on you guys's avies.

LEGO Star Wars 2012 Pictures and Rumors
Darth Nihilus replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Not with the release of AotC in 3D, they won't. I would put money on there being another Clone BP with plain white troopers in it. Can't wait for both exclusives. My Mandalorian army has been needing a leader for a while now. -

Shave and put on an eyepatch, of course! Or he could just leave that Zygerrian helmet on. -
LEGO Collectable Minifgures Series 7 Discussion

If they redid the Alien Conquest ADU soldiers with Space Marine armor, I wouldn't complain at all. - - - - Okay, maybe a little. -
At $25, I don't think that there would be enough pieces in the set for the Hyperdrive Ring. Maybe if the price was jacked up to $50 or so. Which droid would that be?

Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Season 4 Discussion
Darth Nihilus replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Eh, I beg to differ. Ahsoka still is a brat, and always will be. Anakin just exchanges some quips with Obi-Wan from time to time. And don't you think that Rex would explain to Anakin why one of his troopers was decomissioned? -
Quite plausible suggestions, though I already had almost the exact same idea as the Umbara BP a few pages back. Anyway, sets for the release of AotC in 3D, which, by the way, will be one of the most anticipated films for me in all time. Anyway, the suggestions: Padme vs. Nexu and Anakin vs. Reek; About $20. New molds for the Nexu and Reek, and brick-built pillars for Padme and Anakin to be chained to. Also contains a Geonosian with spear. The Grandstands; About $70. Has the Grandstands and about 3 or 4 Geonosians to sit on them, and Obi-Wan vs. the Acklay. Also has the luxury booth at the top of the stands with Count Dooku, Jango and Boba Fett, and Mace Windu. Speeder Chase; About $40. Includes the two speeders and Obi-Wan, Anakin, and Zam Wessel. Battle on the Platforms.; About $140. Includes Slave I, Jango and Boba Fett, Obi-Wan, a Kaminoan, and a small section of the Kamino docking bay. Obi-Wan's Jedi Starfighter; About $25. Includes Obi-Wan, his starfighter, R4-P17, and a Kaminoan.

LEGO Star Wars 2012 Pictures and Rumors
Darth Nihilus replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Second 'P' stands for 'policy'. Random Figure Placement Policy. Maybe I'll treat you to another of my rants about it in the Future SW Sets thread. -
Or it could be an Expert class.

Hope! It is a slim chance, but hope nonetheless! I want a Hungarian Horntail!

LEGO Star Wars 2012 Pictures and Rumors
Darth Nihilus replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
It's RFPP, dimwit! I think that they resort to RFPP when they say "Hey, we need some new minifigs in this set, so let's do a random drawing of figures we haven't done yet, regardless of whether they ever came near the vehicle/location or not!"
